CANON SUBORDINATION — this document is PROPOSAL-TIER: it serves canon and never outranks it.
The canon: the CVD · the T1 foundation docs · the T0 registries (registries/) · the spine
(docs/spine/CH_*.md) · the region pages (_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/). Authority order:docs/DOC_MAP.md§ 0.
Canon served: NONE FOUND — this document cites no canon anchor anywhere in its body.
Do not build from it alone: open the spine node (docs/spine/CH_NN.md), the region page
(_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/), and the T0 registry your work targets, and derive from those.
READ THAT CANON FIRST — open it and derive from it before you build anything from this document.
If this document disagrees with canon, CANON WINS and this document is the defect — fix the
document, never the canon. Nothing here is applied until it is ratified into canon.
Beat structure, fork shapes, SQ stages/gates, and spatial requirements COME FROM the spine's
typed graph (the §10/§10b/§11 rows and the §3b sites). The page adds region-scope quest dressing,
the side-quest seeds, and the convergence-node feed notes. Everything below the Main Story
paragraph is proposal-tier region dressing consumed from this shelf's audited deep-read harvest:
each row carries its citation, each is opt-in, and none of them gates the main line. The
multi-path and no-dead-end rules are structural here — every seed below has at least two honest
ways through it, and failing, refusing, or never finding one of them costs texture and standing,
never progress toward the Sumatra-Java crossing.
Quest typing is owned by this step, and the honest result of running it on this harvest is that
no seed below carries a quest_type at all. The enum question itself is under an open ruling
(D-QUEST-TYPE-MINT, HELD), so this page neither counts the vocabulary's members nor assigns one
to anything: a blade-measurement contest, a calendar-planning puzzle, a recurring island-wide
observance, a divination consult, a rite-of-passage beat, a water-allocation problem, a traversal
course and a naturalist observation loop are recorded here as INPUT to that ruling and nothing
more. The categories this material actually asked for — a minigame-or-contest class, a
festival-or-daily-immersion class, a trade-expression class, a ward-or-defense objective, a
traversal class, and a folklore-combat class for the genuinely side-only beats — are the demand
this harvest generated, stated as demand rather than as canon. The mint is HELD; no seed below is
force-fit into an existing member and no new member is declared canon by this page.

Boss-family routing, copied from the Derived Indexes and never re-decided here: BE_0004 the
Certification-Shadow (PERCEIVE/STRIKE, 30/45/25, phases P1→CH04_B07, P2→CH04_B08, P3→CH04_B09),
BE_0004_S1 the Gate-Naga Guardian (EVADE/ATTUNE, 30/45/25) at CH04_B06, BE_0004_S2 the
Night-Leyak (BANISH/PERCEIVE, 30/40/30) at CH04_B03, BE_0004_S3 the Barong-Rangda Balance-Trial
(BALANCE/READ, 25/50/25) at CH04_B10. Every seed below that touches a boss FEEDS one of those
four rows — verbs, axes, and phase bindings are joins into the typed layer, taken as given. No
seed below proposes a new boss id, a new verb pair, or a new phase.
Region-scope side-quest seeds (premise, NPC, integrity implication via the direction vocabulary,
reward) — the four the page already carried, each now standing on the harvest:
register); NPC Pedanda Ida Bagus Mantra (CHAR_0023), who can tell a sanctioned rite from an
edited one. The region's own investigative instrument seats here beside the documents: the
player brings an offering and a silent question to a balian taksu, who goes into trance and
lets a spirit put leading yes-or-no questions to the visitor before a dead relative or a god
speaks at length through her — naming a thief or the enemy behind a curse, or listing the
offerings and temple-visits that will right a wrong; the answers arrive oblique and are sometimes
wrong, so the honest method is to consult three or four practitioners and act only where the
readings agree [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 131-134; p. 146-149 — Eiseman, Bali: Sekala & Niskala].
Integrity implication: expose cleanly (generative) or copy the leverage technique (corrosive);
reward the certification-chain intel toward the modern arc. The divination is treated as the
community's own working method, never as a trick to be debunked, and its unreliability is
built into the loop rather than into the practitioner
NPC Kadek Astawa (CHAR_0027). The craft is real and is the loop: slice young coconut-leaf
busung into the square canang frame, lay in the porosan and the red, white and green flowers,
and for the festival build the towering banten-tegeh by skewering fruit, coloured rice-cakes
and a roast duck up a banana trunk, then carry it balanced on the head and stoop it low through
the inner gate without spilling [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 203-209]. Quality of the offering shifts
community standing and the footing the player brings to the balance-trial. Integrity
implication: serve the festival or treat it as access; reward the gamelan-apprentice bond and
the SQ7 depth
the pande smiths (roster). The observation has content: before accepting a blade the player
measures it three ways — fold a young-coconut-leaf strip to the blade's mid-width and count the
rai, walk right and left thumb-widths up the blade divided by seven, count four-finger-widths
at the palm — and each reading yields a different fated property, a fifteen-rai blade reading
as one that reveals what hides itself and makes its owner lucky, a ten-rai blade as one that
turns on the hand that holds it. The lamination pattern is read alongside the measurements,
each of some hundred-plus pamor designs carrying a distinct power, and a knowing seller will
keep the pattern turned away from a buyer [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 152-156]. Underneath it is
metallurgy the player can actually learn: crucible reduction, a carbon window under half a
percent between brittle and soft, hammer-welded lamination of carbon steel against a
corrosion-resistant nickel alloy, and a citrus-and-arsenic etch that blackens the carbon and
leaves the nickel bright so the pattern shows [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 152-153]. Integrity
implication: honour the pusaka register or price it as loot; reward the Trade-3 Blacksmithing
seed lore. Two disciplines ride this row: the forge itself is a site the Zone Catalog does not
yet hold, so the visit is written as a village-belt interior pending a Zone Catalog ruling and
asserts no new zone; and the source's own earliest firm keris record is thirteenth-century
relief carving, which sits at the outer edge of the ~1200 CE present frame — the substrate is
carried because keris-class daggers plainly predate their earliest dated carving, and the
boundary is recorded here rather than lost [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 152]
spell, and the resolution runs through the temple system, where the priests are consulted on
water-rights disputes and the congregations' written awig-awig codes set out each party's
rights and obligations [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-20; p. II-2 — Cultural Landscape of Bali
Province, the UNESCO nomination dossier (2011)]; the binding principle is that everyone drawing
on one flow of water shares an obligation to its temple, which is what makes the quarrel
resolvable at all [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-5]. NPC Subak Pekaseh Ketut Sudana (CHAR_0025).
Integrity implication: respect the system's own resolution and restore the schedule
(generative), or seize flow and buy a pekaseh (corrosive) — which starves a downstream subak
and is remembered. Reward the Trade-8 Engineering seed, the Jatiluwih read, and the elders'
deeper water lore
Mini-arc situations (the L1-through-L3 lane — situations the region already holds, each playable,
each non-gating, several of them the human-scale face of beats the spine states structurally):
the gods could not rebuke an over-attached Durga and Rudra directly they staged a shadow-play
to show the pair their error and restore the balance, Brahma becoming the lamp, Wisnu the
gender-player, Iswara the dalang [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 298-299; p. 51]. The player does the same
thing at CH04_B09: rather than fight the master, play back his own tampered performance until
the seam shows and he sees for himself what has been threaded through his craft. The remedy is
staged inside the art the apparatus was abusing, which is why the Dalang is freed by revelation
and never harmed, and why the beat reads as the gods' own method rather than as an accusation.
This is the mythic grounding of SC_CH04_reveal_to_the_dalang and of BE_0004's
perceive-then-pacify shape
once a decade the community carries it down to the spring court to be washed on the full moon
of the fourth month; its surface bears an inscription in an archaic Old Balinese register few
can still read, and what the inscription commemorates is the very washing-day the community has
kept faithfully since the tenth-century king who founded the spring — some ten generations back
from the present frame [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-62]. As the protagonist's literacy grows out of
CH04_B02, the player can assist the community's own priests and custodians in recovering the
reading — the achievement the beat honours is the unbroken transmission itself, the rite
performed correctly for centuries by people who could no longer read the text that names it,
and the recovery runs through Manukaya's own people with the protagonist helping, never an
outsider handing a community its meaning back. The full thousand-year span and the modern
decipherment both stay authorial provenance and neither reaches a player-facing surface in this
frame. The playable half sits at L2 with its design twin at L3; feeds Thread 17 and
SC_CH04_lontar_becomes_reading
rather than summarized: two congregations, one weir, a dry season, and a settlement that must
be argued in the temple against the awig-awig and the ritual obligations each congregation
carries [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-20; p. II-2; p. II-5]. Winning it honestly opens the elders'
trust and the deeper subak lore; forcing it writes a durable community read through FORK_CH04_A
and ws.community_state_per_region. Both routes finish the arc
ripu, the six enemies of lust, greed, anger, drunkenness, confusion and jealousy; for the
moment of the filing the honoree is symbolically killed and defenceless, so relatives press
their hands on him to ward evil while the gender-wayang plays a calming figure [SRC: SRC_00157,
p. 100-105]. The default surface is witness-and-serve for a peer — Kadek Astawa's household is
the natural seat — and undergoing it is gated on genuine acceptance into a household under the
assimilation-integrity mechanic, which is what makes the visible re-weighting of the six vices
mean anything. It is a living rite of passage of the community the player is a guest in, and it
is offered, never required
and tossed in a laughing melee so the departing spirit cannot find its way home to haunt the
family, and for royalty a long Naga-Banda binding the dead to their earthly needs is cut loose
by the pedanda's flower-tipped arrow to release the soul [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 110-115]. The
player encounters it as a rite already in progress, may be invited to carry or to stand aside,
and the flower-arrow release stands as a distinctive non-lethal ritual verb the region owns.
This is a living death-rite of real families: it is carried with weight, the grief is real, and
it is never staged as spectacle or as a puzzle to solve. The cremation ground and its Pura
Dalem are not in the Zone Catalog, so the beat is seeded as region-ambient and asserts no zone
row
village belt, and the villagers read it through their own cosmology as the tiger-being of the
Barong rather than as vermin. The player can help the balian ward the village boundary at dusk
and shadow the animal back toward the highland forest, earning standing and Barong insight, or
force a kill the community remembers [SRC: SRC_00482, p. 5 — Ashraf, the extirpation of the
Bali and Javan tiger, FAO/RAP Tigerpaper XXXIII:3 (2006)]. There is deliberately no
man-eater-from-hunger premise here: in the ~1200 CE frame the island's forest is intact and the
tiger still ranges across almost all of it, so the prey-collapse driver that later doomed the
animal is absent by design and is never imported into the present frame [SRC: SRC_00482, p. 5;
p. 6]. Seats at village_balian_ward; feeds SQ1 ADVANCE and the FORK_CH04_A community read
island's apex is not endemic-forever but walked in across ground now drowned, since repeated
Pleistocene sea-level lows joined Bali, Java and Sumatra across the exposed Sunda Shelf as
recently as the last glacial maximum [SRC: SRC_00496, p. 248 — Xue et al., J Hered
106(3):247-257 (2015)]. Bali sits on the Sunda Shelf, west of the Wallace Line, and the build
is framed on that fact — it is the ground the protagonist is about to cross in the other
direction at Ch 5, leaving the island on the axis the animal's ancestors entered it. What the
era-present loop delivers is the observation and not the molecule: the same great cat walks
Java and Sumatra, the strait is shallow, the shared fauna reads as one country that the water
came over. The molecular half — the three island tiger populations resolving as a single
monophyletic assemblage separated by one or two nucleotides [SRC: SRC_00496, p. 247] — is
authorial SCIENCE_GROUNDING substrate and is deliberately not placed in a ~1200 CE player's
hands, on the same bar that keeps the island-biogeography inbreeding mathematics and the
haplotype dating of the subaks off this page. Feeds the departure beat and Section 15
Skill, craft and planning loops (opt-in ladders and puzzles, all non-gating; the class language is
design description and mint-flag input, never a ratified quest type):
a ceremony to choosing the direction of a journey, wants a good day read off the tika calendar
or from a balian, and acting on a bad one invites sickness, spoiled craft, or ambush
[SRC: SRC_00157, p. 161-172; p. 179-180]. Underneath the superstition-shaped surface is a real
combinatorial calendar the player can learn to compute: ten concurrent weeks of one to ten days
generating fifty-five day-names, conjunctions falling at least-common-multiple intervals,
intercalation rules for the four-, eight- and nine-day weeks, and a lunar correction accurate to
about two thousandths of a percent [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 162-172; p. 176-177]. It runs as a
planning puzzle: schedule the chapter's craft, rites and journeys onto the days that carry them,
and the calendar starts paying for the attention. It is a scheduling advantage, never a lock —
nothing in the main line waits on a day
hydraulic system: set the proportional dividers so each canal takes its agreed share and the
split can be read at a glance, drive a boundary-crossing tunnel down the ravine to reach a block
of terraces no surface channel can water, and coordinate a synchronized fallow-and-flood window
with the neighbouring subaks so the rice pests lose their habitat across the whole contiguous
block [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-5; p. II-3; p. II-4]. Solutions grade on real hydraulics and on
cooperation: take more than the agreed share and a downstream subak dries, which the community
reads and remembers. The dividers are described exactly as the record describes them and carry
no vernacular name the source does not attest. The shared obligation that gives the puzzle its
social cost is the one the arbitration above rests on: everyone drawing on a single flow of
water owes the same temple [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-5]. The wider account of how the island's
water order is coordinated is Section 7's to state, not this section's
a haunted crossroads or a sickness-held compound, the player assembles an offering sized to the
disturbance, escalating from a single segehan through the one-chicken eka-sata and the
five-coloured panca-sata toward the great taur, and lays coloured rice in the nine-direction
nawa-sanga wheel with each colour set to its true compass point — white east, red south, yellow
west, black north, all colours at the centre [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 212-218]. Correct
colour-to-direction placement settles the ground; a mis-set wheel leaves the pocket seething and
the work has to be read again. The verb is appeasement, never eradication: the demons are fed,
not destroyed. At scale the rite involves animal sacrifice, and it is rendered as the tradition
performs it, each animal blessed and its pardon asked, offered and never forced on the player,
and never staged for gore
already seeds gains its real mechanics: two players share one figure by interlocking on- and
off-beats, the deep colotomic gong-cycle is the clock every phrase must land against, each note
is damped on the knuckle as the next is struck, and the paired instruments are deliberately
tuned a hair apart so their difference-frequency produces the shimmering ombak [SRC: SRC_00157,
p. 313-317; p. 316-317]. It is a duet held against a partner rather than a solo tap-track, which
is what makes it the chapter's musical architecture rather than a diversion, and the beat-
frequency physics under the shimmer is the same physics a later sound-and-vril puzzle can ask
the player to hear. Feeds the SQ7 ADVANCE and the Kadek Astawa thread
apex-predator sign, pugmarks and scrapes and cached ungulate kills and scent-marks, work the
approach without being winded, and close to watching range rather than to killing range. Correct
field-reading fills the observation count toward the Barong insight the registry already grants
at seven observations; a botched approach spooks the animal, and combat only ever triggers
defensively when a cornered cat is crowded [SRC: SRC_00482, p. 5; SRC: SRC_00496, p. 252;
p. 255]. Two disciplines: the tracking mechanics themselves want a tiger-ecology source before
the minigame is specified, since the phylogenetics paper attests build and prey-dependence but
not field sign, and the Zone Catalog has no forest or watershed row, so the loop is written as
region-ambient on the Agung-flank monsoon forest that Section 1 already carries as terrain
authority and is deliberately not routed into the protected Besakih precinct
Encounter and folklore-combat lane (the rated-M bar: the tradition's own condemned being is a
boss, staged, never softened — and the revered are never made into monsters to fill the slot):
the village lays triangular segehan at every gate-threshold, and nobody travels
[SRC: SRC_00157, p. 99; p. 121; p. 168]. A player who takes the crossroads or the graveyard near
midnight on that day meets a heightened Night-Leyak and out-of-balance bhuta-kala, and the
balian's warded ring is the safe threshold to reach. Cheap wards are available and shareable —
onions at a sleeping child's fontanel, a dried-umbilical amulet — so the recurring night is
survivable by preparation rather than by level. Feeds BE_0004_S2 at CH04_B03 and the SQ1 ADVANCE
cannot round a corner, which is why every house-compound carries a screen wall just inside its
gate [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 120; p. 213-214]. The player can fight with that fact: break
line-of-sight behind an aling-aling to shed a pursuer, or funnel one down a straight lane into a
segehan trap that sates it. A leyak obeys none of this — a knife does nothing to it and it must
be warded rather than stabbed, which is the distinction the whole warding layer is built on.
Feeds CH04_B03 and the BE_0004 shadow-duel phases, and it is the tactical grammar of the
village-ward and performance-ground threshold spaces
over the spot and watched three nights, its many false openings confusing a leyak so it can never
find the one hole through which to reach the blood and harm the person it came from
[SRC: SRC_00157, p. 118]. The player can raise and hold such a ward for an injured ally across
three nights, or find an unguarded blood-site the Night-Leyak has been using as its way in — a
defense objective whose failure costs the ally a hard night and the player standing, never the
chapter
three vanished birth-fluids, guard a person through life if they are honoured: greeted at night,
thanked at dawn, given the first spilled drop of every drink; turned toward good they aid
meditation, knowledge and protection, and turned wrongly by a night-adept they become the leyak's
own power [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 93-99]. This is the single most load-bearing piece of substrate in
the chapter, because it makes the companion-spirit bond and the monster the same craft branched
two ways rather than a good force and an alien evil, and because it means the Night-Leyak is the
tradition's own condemned use of its own power. Surfaced only through the warding and bond
mechanics — the equivalence is felt, never declared
entranced press keris tips hard against their own chests and are not wounded, and a wound means
a taboo of the trance has been broken [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 138-144]. In the balance-trial the
player or a bonded ally can enter that protected state, in which an enemy's blade cannot cut, and
can lose it by ritual impurity, the wrong day, or a defiled blade. The verb is endurance under
grace rather than invulnerability bought cheaply. It is a living consecrated rite and it is staged
as such: the taboo-consequence is the mechanic, and the wound is never the spectacle. Feeds
BE_0004_S3 at CH04_B10 and interlocks with the auspicious-day layer above
remembered as struck from the earth by Indra to revive an army poisoned at its camp by
Mayadenawa, whose blood, when Indra finally killed him, became the cursed river below
[SRC: SRC_00157, p. 69-70]. The purification runs the spouts in their order and with the right
intent, and the spouts of the poisoned lineage are the ones to skip; mis-stepping the sequence
carries the old curse forward and the sequence must be read again. Tirta Empul is a protected
living sacred site and its Zone Catalog row carries puzzle and transformation functions rather
than combat, so this is authored as the CH04_B04 purification puzzle deepened by its own legend
and no encounter is sited inside the spring court. Whether the legend's antagonist is ever
staged as a fight, and where, is a spine-lane call this page does not make
above, recorded here because it is available region-wide and not only on that quest
[SRC: SRC_00157, p. 131-134; p. 146-149]. It cross-feeds the healer's-child silent-observation
thread as a divining line the player may pull without the mystery yielding
believed to make the rivers flow, whose priesthood is held to be chosen by the gods themselves
and whose congregation gathers two hundred and fifty subaks and more [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-19;
p. II-20; p. II-2]. She appears as a benefactor and may give aid or an errand in the guise of a
lake-side elder — a real, portrayable, usable good deity, with the standing limit held exactly:
her name is never pinned to an ordinary mortal NPC, and the disguise is hers to drop. Her gift
is the water every subak below depends on, and standing well with her water-order is what lets
the player read the island's whole balance later. The crater-rim water-temple site sits outside
the current Zone Catalog and the seed asserts no zone row; the addition is a pending ruling, and
the encounter is deliberately not relocated onto another community's temple
snatches anything loose from a traveller, a theft-and-distraction hazard the crab-eating macaque
roster row already supports, and the agility course runs the rare winged split-gates up toward
the kori agung with its Bhoma face and its flanking guardians; stone boats at the sea-side shrine
mark the peninsula's watch on what comes from the water [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 250-254]. The
harvest types this row as a vehicle-or-mount seed, which it plainly is not — it is a traversal
course with a theft hazard and an architectural read, and it is carried here as traversal so it
does not mis-file into the mount framework. Uluwatu is one of the island's six most important
temples: the course runs the cliff traverse and the approach thresholds, the split-gates are read
rather than clambered, and no consecrated shrine is vaulted. Feeds CH04_B12
descends past royal candi and priests' meditation niches cut straight into the living basalt of
the riverbank, crossing rock-cut channels still running to their spouts, and finds a readable
inscription in Kadiri Quadrate characters naming the king who died in the Jalu — jalu meaning
keris, which is why the river below is the River of the Dagger [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-32;
p. II-33; p. II-65]. It is a vertical traversal run with a literacy stop in it, and the second
natural home for the reading won at CH04_B02. The gorge is a protected monument complex, so the
build is type-accurate composition rather than replica, and the site has no Zone Catalog row —
the addition is a pending ruling and this page asserts none
Festival and daily-immersion lane (recurring observances the player rides rather than completes;
each has an upkeep effect and none of them gates anything):
offerings and holy water or its power drifts: the player hangs the blade in the family shrine,
sprinkles it, wafts the offering-essence over it, and blesses tools as well, since the tradition
already classes them with weapons [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 156-157; p. 169-170]. A blessed blade
carries its pamor character into the balance-trial; a neglected one is simply not yet valid, a
soft cost rather than a lock. It rides the auspicious-day layer and gives the keris substrate a
recurring surface
island bangs metal and waves torches: in one telling to drive the bhuta-kala off, in the priests'
telling to wake them so they see the offerings laid out for them; the next day the island falls
utterly silent and still, feigning abandonment so the sated demons leave [SRC: SRC_00157,
p. 174-175]. As a world event it is two contrasting nights back to back — an eve of din and
flame, then a day where movement itself draws notice — and both readings of the din are carried,
since the tradition carries both
with the ani-ani, a small blade concealed in the palm so the Goddess is honoured at the moment of
her sacrifice, and the rice growing nearest the field's water inlet bound into the sacred cili
figure of the Goddess, which is not eaten but carried to the rice-barn and given offerings
[SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-16; p. II-6; p. II-71]. It is the offering-economy as lived practice
rather than set-dressing, it pairs naturally with the festival preparation above, and completing
it warmly with Kadek Astawa deepens the found-family and SQ7 threads
Trade-expression seeds (craft the player performs rather than lore the player is told):
craft whose specialists held the island's best reputation and were called on across Bali: survey
the fall of the land, choose where to tap the river, and drive a man-high tunnel that emerges a
kilometre downslope to water terraces no surface channel reaches [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-73].
The craft is old and salaried in the record — irrigation-tunnel engineers are listed as paid
specialists in a ninth-century inscription — and the works run to earthen dams of thirty-five to
forty metres and tunnels of a hundred and sixty [SRC: SRC_00251, p. II-54; p. II-73]. Get the
gradient and the tap-point right and the flow arrives; get them wrong and the work is wasted.
Seeds Trade-8 Engineering ahead of its Ch-27 home base
produces one only by chance in hundreds of castings; rubbed round its lip with a sandalwood stick
it gives a pure, penetrating, sustained tone unlike any struck bell, and villagers decline to
handle so rare a thing for the force they feel in it [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 67-68]. It is framed as
a once-in-a-playthrough smith's masterwork — the thing the persistent forger finally achieves at
the pande forge — and as a consecrated implement held within the rite rather than a power-item to
be looted off a shrine. Feeds Trade-3 Blacksmithing and, at the build pass, the sound-keyed side
of the vril-management layer
Side-questline candidate (the one row in this harvest that wants a branching ladder rather than a
single seed): the balian's branching craft. The balian is not one healer but a web of specialists
the player can study or consult — the tulang bone-setter, the usada reader of the medicine-lontars,
the taksu spirit-medium who divines thieves and lost things, the uat masseur who straightens the
body's life-channels, the kebal maker of amulets, the terang who clears the weather, the paica who
carries a divinely-given relic [SRC: SRC_00157, p. 126-135]. Balian Made Sari's warding is one
branch of that web, and each branch opens a distinct path: the usada line feeds the Trade-4
Herbalism materia medica, the taksu line feeds the investigation loops above, the kebal and terang
lines feed the ward-and-weather layer around the Kajeng-Keliwon nights. It is authored as a
candidate skill-web rather than a questline id, because no questline id is this page's to assign;
it routes to SQ7 as its nearest ratified home and every branch is optional.
Staging discipline for everything above, stated once so no row has to restate it: Besakih, Tirta
Empul, Uluwatu, the Gunung Kawi gorge and the performance ground are protected living sacred sites,
so play runs on approaches, thresholds, courtyards and traverses rather than through consecrated
interiors, and combat routes only where the spine already sites it — village_balian_ward and
wayang_performance_ground. Combat never routes through the Balinese community: the balians, the
pedanda, the villagers, the smiths, the subak officers and the unaware Dalang are allies and
protected non-targets, and the antagonism is the leyak in its condemned night-form, the
out-of-balance bhuta-kala, and the materialized certification apparatus. Rangda is revered-and-
feared and is never made the villain of any seed above; the balance-trial is held, never won. Three
sites this harvest genuinely wants — a pande forge, a cremation ground with its Pura Dalem, and a
crater-rim water-temple, plus the Pakerisan gorge — have no Zone Catalog rows, and every seed that
touches them is written to assert none and to wait on the Zone Catalog ruling rather than borrow a
neighbouring community's temple to stand in.
L1 fun-beat seed (SEED — feeds the pending minigame/vehicle frameworks (Josh-pending); non-gating;
invents no named canon): the gamelan-rhythm and wayang-shadow performance premise, now carrying the
kotekan interlock, the colotomic gong clock and the paired-tuning shimmer as its actual mechanics
(above), run as an opt-in performance ladder at the wayang_performance_ground for community standing
and SQ7 depth, offered never forced, the sacred performance register honoured and never spectacle.
Convergence-node feed notes: FORK_CH04_A's community read persists as
ws.community_state_per_region (the adult-Bali revisit consumer not yet pinned — the page carries
the open forward_track deliberately), and the seeds that write into it are the water-rights
arbitration, the tiger at the forest edge, the festival preparation and the paper trail, so the
read the island carries forward is assembled from ordinary conduct rather than from the climax
alone. The certification intel (SQ12) feeds the modern arc; the Barong insight accrued through the
tiger observation loop feeds BE_0004_S3 at CH04_B10; the departure lore of the drowned land feeds
the Ch-5 crossing and Section 15. path_bucket UNLOCKED (Ch 65 lock). The tiger's modern-strata fate
and the world-state bands it grounds belong to Section 19 and are queued there, not stated here.
