KIT_BE_0011 -- Baron Alexandre Dupont -- a station, and the man who signs for it

CANON SUBORDINATION — this document is PROPOSAL-TIER: it serves canon and never outranks it.
The canon: the CVD · the T1 foundation docs · the T0 registries (registries/) · the spine
(docs/spine/CH_*.md) · the region pages (_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/). Authority order: docs/DOC_MAP.md § 0.
Canon served (structural — the registries this kit's canon rows live in, plus its chapter's spine node):
T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry · T0_Character_Index · docs/spine/CH_11.md
READ THAT CANON FIRST — open it and derive from it before you build anything from this document.
If this document disagrees with canon, CANON WINS and this document is the defect — fix the
document, never the canon. Nothing here is applied until it is ratified into canon.
PROPOSAL-TIER. This kit serves canon and never outranks it. It writes no registry row.
The law it obeys: docs/proposals/combat/KIT_SCALING_TABLE.md. The intelligence scale:
docs/proposals/combat/INTELLIGENCE_TIERS.md. The body it fights with is the bestiary
lane's: docs/proposals/bestiary/BESTIARY_ELEVATION_DOCTRINE.md and its sheets. This file
describes the FIGHT; it never restates the BODY. Authors no magnitude -- no damage, no
health, no timing, no coefficient. Those are Phase-5M's behind the tuning firewall.

Silhouette read. A lit clearing cut out of a forest, and one man in it who is not doing any of the work.

Opener (MHM-G10, the cheap lesson first). THE SWEEP -- a searchlight crosses the clearing on a fixed period and passes over nothing. Free, and it hands the player the fight's metronome before anything is at stake.

phases -- evolve, never swap

phasenamewhat it PUSHES (nothing pops)
1canopy infiltrationabove the station, in the three-strata volume. Traversal, timing and staying out of the light.
2the apparatus part-breakthe station's machinery. BE_0011's evolve-not-swap clause: STATION ALARMS REUSE THE PATROL PATTERNS AT HIGHER TEMPO.
3the confrontationthe row is explicit: DUPONT'S DUEL IMPORTS THE PATROL TELEGRAPH-LANGUAGE. He fights in the grammar the player has spent two phases learning, which is the whole point of him.

2The Patrol Pattern1two Force Publique sentries on a circuitthe pair passes the same post twice at the same intervalneutralizeThe pattern is the fight's language and phase 3 speaks it. Neutralize is the timing read.
3The Canopy Gap1the station's cleared margin, where the strata endthe branch road stopscoverThe row's counter -- 'the searchlight sweep -> canopy height or foliage cover'.
4The Enforcer Volley1a rifle section, on a called linethe sentries stop walking and face one way togethercoverThe row's second counter -- 'the enforcer volley -> Stone Skin or a dodge-roll'.
5The Alarm Line1a wire between postsa wire that is taut where the others sagtrigger_interrupt
6The Palisade Lane1the sentry-line's own constrictionthe gap between posts is the only way through and it is litdodge_only
7The Day Heat1the cut clearing's own microclimatethe air over the clearing is visibly worse than the air over the treesanyEG_0169's exposure_hazard = heat on a clearing with no affordance and no verbs -- it is a condition, not a tool, and this kit uses it as exactly that. See the boarded note in KIT_SCALING_TABLE 7.
8The Raised Tempo2the same patrol circuit, fasterthe pair passes the post at a shorter intervalneutralizeMHM-G10's variant law at station scale: ability 2's root, compressed. The row's own clause.
9The Quota Press2the drying racks and the bale stackmen are moved off the line and onto the racksany
10The Machinery Guard2enforcers stationed on the apparatus rather than the perimeterthe patrol stops circling and stands stillparry_only
11The Ledger Run2a clerk carrying the quota record awayone man leaves at a walk while everyone else is runningtrigger_interruptwin_condition = PART_BREAK;PACIFY -- the record is half the win and it is leaving.
12The Bale Fire2the latex store, lit by the station itselfthe enforcers move away from the stack before it goes upcoverThey will burn their own quota rather than let it be counted. EG_0174 is D2_IGNITE-armed and they arm it.
13The Apparatus Held2the station's load-bearing framethe machinery's noise changes pitch under loadweak_pointThe named part, and primary_verb-adjacent: win_condition = PART_BREAK.
14The Imported Telegraph3Dupont's own attacks, in the patrol's grammarhis wind-up is the same shape as a sentry's called lineparry_onlyPHASE-SPECIFIC in effect and the row's own clause: his duel imports the patrol telegraph-language. Two phases of learning cash in here.
15The Sabre Lunge3rear leg and point, from a formal guardhis rear heel lifts and the point dropsdodge_only
16The Revolver3a holstered sidearm, drawn latehe stops using his left hand for balancecover
17The Called Line3his own men, ordered onto the duelhe speaks in the middle of an exchangecoverPATTERN COUNTER: the order arrives on the patrol's beat, so the player who learned phase 1 knows where the volley is going before it is fired.
18The Signature3a hand, and a document, and nothing elsehe stops fighting and reaches for a penanywin_condition = PART_BREAK;PACIFY, has_nonkill_path unset on the row -- so the kit does not claim one. What it authors is the row's own PACIFY: the station stops because the man who signs for it signs something else.

CLASS PURITY (tooth T5). Every move above is physical. No element family, no vril

mechanism, no non-ordinary affordance appears in this kit, because this being's own canon

row carries no hollow row, no lore home and nothing that elevates it. It is dangerous the

way the real animal or the real person is dangerous, engineered up until it reads at the

shipped combat camera. TIMID here would mean BORING-PHYSICAL, never insufficiently magical.

turf and relocation (MHM-G8, MHM-G9)

HE ENTERS from the office deck and never leaves the station. HE RELOCATES between the apparatus and the quarters, which are the two things he actually defends. HE LEAVES by signing. WHAT HE DOES TO THE ARENA: he lit it, cut it, and fenced it before the chapter started, and the encounter is the player taking each of those back.

the care read

care_tier = elevated, target_type = colonial_apparatus, threads = T03. MUNDANE: searchlights, carbines and machinery. THE ANTAGONIST IS THE CONCESSION SYSTEM, routed through the apparatus per CVD 17.1 -- the quota ledger (part 4) names the men above him, and the win condition is a part-break and a signature rather than a body. THE ATROCITY IS NOT STAGED AS SPECTACLE: the pressed labour of the Free State rubber system is present as the station's function and its records, never as depicted mutilation, and the chapter's Efe and Mbuti rows are hard_blocked throughout -- their forest, camps, houses and practices are referenced and never entered as combat volumes, never damaged, and never collateral. HL_0001 through HL_0007 bind across EG_0154, EG_0155, EG_0158 and EG_0159.

difficulty-mode expression

This kit is authored ONCE, at Fading. The five modulators of KIT_SCALING_TABLE section 4

express it across the ladder: active_ability_set grows upward through reserved follow-ups

on roots the player already learned, window_class tightens, answer_tree_depth prunes

toward the single true answer, hazard_concurrency rises with the arena rows above, and

phase_overlap interleaves the phase cycles. No second kit exists and no number here changes

with the tier.
