CANON SUBORDINATION — this document is PROPOSAL-TIER: it serves canon and never outranks it.
The canon: the CVD · the T1 foundation docs · the T0 registries (registries/) · the spine
(docs/spine/CH_*.md) · the region pages (_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/). Authority order:docs/DOC_MAP.md§ 0.
Canon served (scanned from this document's own citations — widen it by hand where it is thin):
CVD §17·T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical
READ THAT CANON FIRST — open it and derive from it before you build anything from this document.
If this document disagrees with canon, CANON WINS and this document is the defect — fix the

Staging drafts for the modern-arc re-flesh. CARE-CHECK before merging into docs/proposals/BOSS_PERSONAS.md — esp. the Ledger-Hand + Corr §11.5/HL_0109 antisemitism guardrail. Names are SET canon (T4 §2.4): Verderer=Halvard Vellmark-Holt, Factor=Emmerich Vellmark-Croft, Corr=Astrid.
CARE-CHECK DONE (2026-07-12, Workflow wf_ef818011-500 — 3 adversarial skeptics, high effort). 9 findings, ALL APPLIED to this draft: 2 MAJOR §17.1 — (a) the Ledger-Hand fused the *documented* 1910 Fed founding with the L3 vessel-claim in one player-facing line (the exact §11.5 conflation) → disambiguated + never-merge caveat restored; (b) a Velheim surveillance-construct was dressed in the pishtaco silhouette (Class 4 + Blind-Spot Ch 51), contradicting the draft's own Class-6 rule and appropriating an Andean anti-extraction diagnostic → struck, pishtaco kept as the community's lens. Plus MINORs: Factor "priced" finance-bleed → extraction register; the Ledger-Hand ribbing capped off "prices nations"; Class-3 sacred beings paired forcing→FREEING inline (taniwha/aku-aku/vadzimu/mhondoro/nkondi never fought, only freed); the Corr-kit polar Class-2 got the vril-vs-Vril-Society acute callout; the reveal-ladder window corrected Ch 45-58 → Ch 39-62 (Corr resolves only at Ch 63). These personas are now guardrail-clean and merge-ready.
⚠ CARRIED FINDING (do NOT let it re-infect on merge) — the Cassius anchor is Ch 76, NOT Ch 74. The care-check agents "corrected" the draft's Ch 76 toward Ch 74 because T4 §2.4/§10.4 still carry the pre-re-cascade "Ch 74" topology (§10.4 header "Ch 74 Cassius Velheim Confrontation", "Ch 75 Father Encounter", "Ch 76-77 Grand Sage"). The ratified endgame re-cascade MOVED this: built CH_74 = Yggdrasil (Cassius-free, states the content "RE-HOMES to Ch 76"), built CH_76 = the Two Courts (Cassius Phase 1 + Father Phase 2, names him 42×), Ch 77 = the Waterfall. This draft is corrected to Ch 76 throughout. The T4 §10.x endgame section is a stale-topology living-source item (Ch 74/75/76-77 → 74 Yggdrasil / 75 Realm-War / 76 Cassius+Father / 77 Waterfall) that needs the re-cascade re-mapping — a dedicated careful pass, NOT a find-replace (Ch 74 now legitimately means Yggdrasil).
I have everything I need: the WS4 embodiment map, the WS3 per-chapter champion beats, T4 §2.4/§4.1/§4.3/§7.1 (which already fix both names), the BOSS_PERSONAS house format (name-derivation / Persona / Combat Pillar-8 / three-layer / sub-bosses), the built Ch 55 deputy lines, and the Ch 59-65 desk-director blocks the WS4 demotion re-tops. Here are the two persona drafts.
---
Drafts only — nothing edited in-repo. Authored in the BOSS_PERSONAS house format (Naming determination → Persona → Combat (Pillar 8) → Recurrence map → Care + reveal pass), grounded per NAMING_METHOD and cited. Both names are FIXED canon (T4 §2.4) and are not re-derived. These two are the only individuated NEW operatives WS4 adds; they re-top the demoted desk-director chapters (Kannbrandt/Marrowquill drop to off-stage signatures per WS4 + WS3 companion).
---
Naming determination (name is SET; ground-and-cite only, not re-derived). The role-title and body are locked in canon: T4 §2.4 names "a recurring cross-era enforcement operative — the Verderer — whose appearances register as felt pursuit and near-misses… its modern embodied body is named at Ch 38: Halvard Vellmark-Holt; the ancient-arc Verderer stays unnamed to that reveal" [SRC: T4 §2.4; §12.2]. The role-title *Verderer* is a real medieval English royal-forest judicial office — the officer sworn to guard the sovereign's *vert and venison* and to bring poachers to the forest court: an enforcement arm that treats one intruder as quarry in a domain the house claims. This is exactly the singular-pursuit register the care line demands (a warden hunting one poacher, never a people) and is grounded, not invented. The body-name carries the same forest-office logic: *Halvard* < Old Norse *Hallvarðr*, "rock-guardian/defender"; *Holt* < Old English/Germanic "wood, copse" — the warden of the wood. *Vellmark-* is the Velheim-adjacent front-signature (the -mark/vel- register readable only at L2, per the built Ch 43 "Vellmarkt" / Ch 50-56 "Vellmark-" precedent), never impersonating a real principal [SRC: NAMING_METHOD §"Persona extension"; BOSS_PERSONAS Ch 43/50/54 Vellmark- template; T4 §3.1 vel-/-heim etymology]. No re-invention: I confirm the fixed name and its substrate; I do not propose an alternative.
Persona. *Role/sector:* the house's personal action-nemesis — cross-sector ENFORCEMENT, not the head of any of the seven Council sectors; the champion the desk-directors *sign work for*, dispatched when a matter needs a body run down rather than a record buried [SRC: AAA proposal WS4 L154; WS4 "the champion the desk-directors sign work for"]. *Awareness:* FULLY_AWARE — the earliest license in canon for a name-known recurring enemy who knows what she is (the Ch-8 Sayyid precedent), and he is dispatched precisely *after* Ch 17 confirms the house knows her nature [SRC: T4 §8.1 Cat 5; AAA WS4 L154]. *History:* the Verderer is a ROLE held by successive Velheim bodies across eras — the office continues; the human filling it changes each generation (the Architect-role continuity mechanism applied to enforcement) [SRC: T4 §4.1; §2.4]. Across the ancient arc he is the unnamed felt pursuit at the edge of chapters; the *House of Velheim* name attaches to the office only at Ch 38, and Halvard Vellmark-Holt is its modern body. *Personality:* a hunter's patience and economy — courteous, unhurried, professionally certain; he treats the chase as craft, not hatred. Sophisticated, never monstrous: no relish, no caricature; the menace is his competence and his refusal to stop [SRC: T4 §5.2 "sophisticated… at the highest tier"; §17.1 sophisticated-not-monstrous]. *Attitude to the protagonist:* she is the one quarry that has run in his forest for centuries and never been taken — he respects the run and intends to end it; there is no ethnic or communal target in his sight, only *her*. *Relationship to the network:* a Velheim enforcement arm (nameable as House post-38), reporting into the sectors' shared coordination, never surfacing the patriarch — he does not speak Cassius, the thesis, or the Grand Sage [SRC: T4 §10.4; reveal ceiling]. *Relationship to communities:* the site-peoples are the *protected* parties whose own guardian-spirits he STEALS and turns; the community's true practice is always the counter, never the enemy [SRC: WS3 Ch 59 (b)+CARE; Ruling 5]. *Integrity-standing:* deplorable — free, sharp ribbing (a warden who has spent an age failing to catch one runner); the humor lands on the hunter, never on the hunted or their culture. *Stakes:* he is the pursuit-tier made personal — every appearance is the house *closing the distance* on her specifically, the human cost of being known.
Combat (Pillar 8) — the modern open engagement (Ch 59 rung, "a front that does not fully break"). Primary strike (the personal nemesis-duel + his hunt-pack); secondary purge (read and break the *binding-marks* on the forced guardians to un-arm his pack) with a traverse/evade thread (breaking the hunt). Axis 45/25/30 — Patterns-forward (he is the action-nemesis) over a vril-forensics puzzle to free the turned spirits. Three phases EVOLVE, never swap: (1) the hunt — he drives her across the sieged site behind a pack of the region's OWN protective spirits, forced against their purpose (a drowning-*njuzu* construct at a flooded Nubian reach, a forced dune-*djinn* driving the Timbuktu manuscript-fire, wrenched Great-Zimbabwe *vadzimu/mhondoro*); she is on the back foot [SRC: WS3 Ch 59 (b)]; (2) the reading — vril-forensics reads his binding-mark on each guardian; every freed spirit flips from attacker to ally, thinning his pack — E33 by *inversion* (his own siege turns on him), no new moves; (3) the break — cornered, Halvard fights personally in tightened enforcement grammar, then severs the last leash and breaks contact — the FRONT DOES NOT FULLY BREAK: the first named nemesis who slips her, establishing she can be hunted and cannot yet close him out [SRC: WS3 Ch 59 RESTRUCTURE "the Verderer ESCAPES… persists to Ch 65"]. Counters (≥2 per signature): hunt-pack rush → free-the-guardian (read+purge the binding-mark) OR living-shield the cornered allies OR evade-and-flank; his pursuit-strikes → parry/turn his momentum OR terrain displacement. Reward: WIN — the site's guardians are freed and the doubt-campaign countered, but the Verderer ESCAPES; the freed guardians carry forward as allies, and the escape *charges* Ch 65 (the reward is the named-nemesis charge + freed spirits, not a kill). DEATH — the hunt-map persists (Hades loop); a dropped enforcement-order journals the arm's next node. Tie to substrate: the win-shape *is* the "front that does not fully break" — you break his siege, not the man; the un-closable hunt is the mechanic.
Recurrence map (escalating personal stakes → the Ch-65 convergence).
Care + reveal pass (§17.1 / HL_0109 / HL_0114 + ceiling). ONE enforcement arm pursuing ONE adversary — never an eternal hunt of a people; the quarry is *her*, the non-human the house has cause to fear, and the pursuit carries no ethnic or communal target [SRC: AAA WS4 L177 care flag]. His forced-guardian tactic reads as the family STEALING/FORCING spirits; the community's own true practice is always the counter, never the enemy [SRC: WS3 Ch 59 CARE]. The Verderer is a ROLE held by successive bodies (role-continuity), NEVER a bloodline; the choice to serve is freely renewed each generation [SRC: T4 §4.1, §4.3]. Not finance-coded (enforcement, not banking) — no cabal-noun, no puppet-master imagery attaches to him; he is one endpoint of the house's reach, never history's author. Nameable as House post-38; he never leaks Cassius/patriarch (Ch 76) or thesis/Grand Sage (Ch 77), and the prose stays off the deeper who-frame per the antagonist-pattern reveal discipline [SRC: T4 §10.4; MEMORY antagonist-pattern-reveal-timing].
---
Naming determination (name is SET; ground-and-cite only). Fixed in canon: T4 §2.4 names "a recurring extraction operative — the Factor of the Concession (embodied modern body Emmerich Vellmark-Croft)" [SRC: T4 §2.4; §12.2]. The role-title names the INSTRUMENT, not a secret: a *factor* is the historical mercantile commission-agent who transacts an enterprise's business on the ground (the trading-company/"factory" factor of the extraction era), and a *concession* is the granted land/rights an extraction enterprise works — the office echoes the real concession-company agent (the Congo Free State concessionaire lineage the Ch 11 Baron Dupont substrate already carries) [SRC: T4 §8.2 Ch 11 concession-extraction; §7.1 EXTRACTIVE=Sector 2]. Body-name substrate: *Emmerich* (Germanic *Amalric*, "work-ruler / labour-power") and *Croft* (Old English/Scots "small enclosed landholding") — the man who rules the worked, enclosed ground; *Vellmark-* is the Velheim-adjacent front-signature (L2-readable), no living mining/oil executive impersonated [SRC: NAMING_METHOD; BOSS_PERSONAS Vellmark- template]. Confirmed, not re-derived.
Persona. *Role/sector:* Sector-2 Corporate Resource Extraction champion — the single loathed recurring EXTRACTION face who *collapses the ~14× credentialed-extractor repetition* into one man plus the local agents he dispatches, rather than a new director met once and out-argued each chapter [SRC: AAA WS4 L156 / FINDINGS #11]. *Awareness:* FULLY_AWARE — he knows what she is and does not pretend otherwise [SRC: AAA WS4 L156]. *History:* a career concession-agent — he opens ground, "instruments" what the site produces, and moves to the next grant; the role recurs across the modern arc as one continuous professional identity (the extractor she can never quite finish). *Personality:* cold, courteous, metrics-minded, unhurried — the sophistication of a man who has *already weighed your objection against the grant and moved on*; he is the sector's *consumption* the way the field-vessels are its scale and speed. Never monstrous, never a caricature — no relish, no hoarding-imagery; his evil is the flat professionalism of treating living ground as inventory [SRC: T4 §5.2-5.4; §17.1 sophisticated-not-monstrous]. *Attitude to the protagonist:* he assumes she is a rival, an NGO stringer, or an obstacle — first to be hired, then buried; being *known and loathed* costs him nothing, which is exactly what makes him un-exposable. *Relationship to the network:* a FULLY_AWARE Velheim extraction operative who signs local agents' work and off-stage signs field-vessels' orders (e.g. the Ch-53 hollowed lithium director) — reporting into Sector-2 coordination, never *being* the Council head, never surfacing Cassius/thesis/Grand Sage [SRC: WS3 Ch 53 (b) "the FACTOR's extraction network signs her orders off-stage"; T4 §6.3, §10.4]. *Relationship to communities:* the extraction-region peoples (Q'eqchi', caboclo/ribeirinho, Atacameño, and the FUNAI-bounded uncontacted beat) are the PROTECTED parties, defended never fought; combat routes only through his apparatus, agents, and forced constructs [SRC: WS3 Ch 48-49 (d) CARE; T4 §8.4 FUNAI; Ruling 5]. *Integrity-standing:* deplorable — free, sharp ribbing (the man who "instruments" a forest and files it as progress), the humor on the extractor, never the extracted. *Stakes:* he is the recurring *consumption* the road keeps meeting — each appearance a fresh grant, a fresh forced construct, a fresh loathing that compounds until the front finally falls.
Combat (Pillar 8) — the marquee rung (Ch 60, "the FRONT THAT DOES NOT BREAK — beaten structurally, not exposed"). Primary strike (the armed extraction front — his dispatched local agents + Corr-forged forced constructs; EXTRACTIVE runs armed-enforcement, not paper, per T4 §7.1); secondary infiltrate → structural collapse (breach the concession and pull its keystones — the *beaten-structurally* win-shape, distinct from the modern arc's "read his record in daylight" exposure win). Axis 45/30/25. Three phases EVOLVE, never swap: (1) the front holds — his local agents and his signature forced construct (the *Iron Step*: a bound tool-spirit / forced *tsukumogami-onryō* of confiscated cultural objects, "an empty-oath retainer") stand the line; you cannot out-argue him — he is already known and un-shamed, so exposure does nothing [SRC: WS3 Ch 60 (b)]; (2) structural infiltration — you breach the concession and part-break its keystones one by one (the local-agent chain, the forced-construct labour, the supply/legal supports), each collapse narrowing the ground the front can hold — E33 by *load-shift* (the same structure re-forms its remaining supports tighter; no new moves); (3) the front falls of its own weight — the Factor, unbroken and unrepentant, simply *loses the ground* and withdraws to the next concession (recurs toward Ch 65). Counters (≥2 per signature): the Iron Step → free-the-oath (honour the hollowed oath / purge the binding) OR restraint-duel; each keystone → structural sabotage OR the defector route (a front-principal-with-a-doubt hands you the internal support-map from inside — a delegated victory shape) [SRC: WS3 Ch 56/Ch 60 defector-witness precedent]; his enforcer squads → strike/parry OR living-shield the workers. Reward: WIN — the front collapses *structurally*, extraction stops, the protected community keeps its ground — but the Factor is neither humiliated nor finished; he recurs (the loathing compounds toward the convergence). DEATH — the concession-map persists (Hades loop); a dropped concession-instrument seeds the whole-arc case file. Tie to substrate: the win *is* the "front that does not break" — you beat the structure, not the man, and the man walking away un-shamed is the mechanic that makes the recurrence land.
Recurrence map (escalating personal stakes → the Ch-65 convergence).
Care + reveal pass (§17.1 / HL_0109 / HL_0114 + ceiling). The INSTRUMENT is the extraction concession/lease/apparatus — never a "secret," never finance-puppet-mastery (that thread is the *Ledger-Hand's*, held sharpest there; the Factor is Sector-2 extraction and must NOT be finance-coded) [SRC: AAA WS4 L177; T4 §7.1]. He is ONE endpoint of the extraction pattern, never history's omnipotent author; no cabal-noun; sophisticated and cold, never monstrous — no physiognomy, hoarding, or ethnic-coding. His evil is a chosen soul-DIRECTION (genuine capability turned to control, T4 §5.3-5.4), freely renewed each generation (§4.3); the recurring face is a role/identity across the arc, never a heritable bloodline. Extraction communities are protected and defended, never fought; the FUNAI uncontacted boundary is absolute [SRC: T4 §8.4; WS3 CARE]. Nameable as House post-38; never leaks Cassius/patriarch (Ch 76) or thesis/Grand Sage (Ch 77) [SRC: T4 §10.4].

aaa_ws3_modern_reflesh.md Ch 60 Japan, L207) labels the same node "DELEGATED VICTORY" (the swordsmith/defector stands the record). Both docs agree the Factor tops Ch 60; only the differentiation-type conflicts. I drafted the Factor's combat as *front-that-does-not-break* per the task, and folded the defector as a counter-route (so both readings are honoured mechanically), but the canonical restructure-type label for the 59-63 five-differentiation set (front-doesn't-break / delegated / personal-cost / siege / magic-duel) needs one ruling so Ch 59 (Verderer) and Ch 60 (Factor) don't both read as "a front that does not fully break."NW_NNNN scheme; at population they likely want a champion-level row plus per-appearance references. Registry fields: sector_assignment = ENFORCEMENT/cross-sector (Verderer — not one of the 7 sector enums; recommend a CROSS_SECTOR_ENFORCEMENT value) and Sector 2 EXTRACTIVE (Factor); awareness_tier = FULLY_AWARE (both); operative_name = Halvard Vellmark-Holt / Emmerich Vellmark-Croft. Flagging the enforcement-enum gap since T4 §12.3's 8-column schema has no cross-sector enforcement value.---
I have everything I need. The built CH_55 (NW_0052) already canonizes the two unnamed deputies' names — Marguerite Vellmark-Haab (Ledger-Hand) and Roderick Vellmark-Sisk (Blind-Spot) — so I inherit those rather than invent. Here are the drafts.
---
Authored in the BOSS_PERSONAS.md house format (Naming determination · Persona · Combat/Pillar-8 · Three-layer · recurrence map), grounded and citable. These are the recurrence personas for the WS4 embodiment map (docs/proposals/AAA_REARCHITECTURE_PROPOSAL.md §WS4 L152-177) as re-fleshed per WS3 (docs/proposals/aaa_ws3_modern_reflesh.md). They expand the built Ch-55 deputy one-liners (BOSS_PERSONAS.md NW_0052 L1130-1138) into the full early-seeded → Ch-55 → 59-63-payoff → Ch-65 arc.
Naming determinations (no new cardinal canon minted). The Ledger-Hand and the Blind-Spot names are inherited verbatim from the built CH_55 / NW_0052, not newly coined — Marguerite Vellmark-Haab and Roderick Vellmark-Sisk. Corr = Astrid Vellmark-Corr per built CH_55 (the WS4/brief working name "Ilse" is superseded; the discrepancy is already logged for Josh in aaa_ws3_modern_reflesh L163). All three carry the -mark-/Vellmark front-principal signature and the Germanic-banking-register surname evoked without naming a real family (T4 §3.1, §11.5).
One reconciliation flag (not a cardinal fork — noted, not deferred). The proposal disagrees with itself on the Ch-59-63 restructure labels: the differentiation line (aaa_ws3 L190) assigns *Ch 60 = delegated victory, Ch 62 = siege*, while the synthesis (AAA_PROPOSAL L194) and this task assign *Ch 62 = the delegated victory for the allies the road accrued*. I follow the task directive and stage Ch 62 as a debt-siege whose win-shape is a delegated victory — the accrued allies lift the siege — which honors both passes. If Josh wants the labels cleanly separated, that is a one-line ruling; the design does not depend on it.
---
Naming determination (inherited + Substrate-Echo). Name fixed by built CH_55 (NW_0052 L1135) — not re-minted. *Haab* reads as a Low-German/Frisian mercantile surname (harbour/holding register), keeping the front-principal signature without pinning any real family (T4 §3.1). "The Ledger-Hand" is a role-title, not a physiognomy — it names a function (the hand that writes the ledger), never a face; the §17.1/HL_0109/HL_0114 guardrail forbids any caricature, hoarding-image, or ethnic-coding, so the ribbing that a deplorable earns lands on the *office* — a woman who has never stood on the ground her paper forecloses — never on person or people. [SRC: NW_0052 L1135; T4 §3.1, §11.5; CVD §17.1; AAA_PROPOSAL L177 "the highest-care thread"]
Persona.
Combat (Pillar 8). Primary decode (the debt-instruments read as binding-sigils — a lien is a spell, the whole-arc case file the counter-sigil; aaa_ws3 L223); secondary refute (the lawful-lever counters entered in daylight). Axis 25/45/30 — the most puzzle-forward of the three deputies, because her armour is procedure. Phases evolve not swap: (1) the encirclement reads — forced debt-wraiths (bound duppies of foreclosure/displacement) cordon the reclaimed ground, each wraith a foreclosure the community suffered, made a construct (Corr-forged, unattributed — see the Construct-Kit, class 6); (2) the siege-break — each cordon-node is dissolved by the specific Ch 39-50 win it maps to (the protagonist's road *is* the case file); (3) the delegated collapse — the allies the road accrued enter the record from outside as the protagonist breaks it from inside, and the cordon falls. Escalation (E33 by inheritance): a broken cordon-node re-files along the same instrument at a tightened telegraph — the pattern is the procedure, no new moves. Counters (≥2 each): each debt-wraith → the mapped Ch 39-50 win or a lawful lever (anti-SLAPP / FOIA / the surviving primary record); the paper cordon → ally-counsel prep or Trade-9 Inscription mastery reading the instrument's forcing-mark. Reward: WIN — the siege collapses and the Sector-1 debt-face is countered in daylight (the §11.5 win-shape: a lawful office that loses lawfully); DEATH — the cordon persists, but each attempt files one more prior win into the surviving record (Hades ledger advances). Tie to substrate: the fight *is* §11.5 made mechanical — you do not out-damage a debt, you enter the record that voids it. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L222-226; T4 §11.5; BOSS_PERSONAS L1265-1275 Wall demoted to off-stage signature per WS4 L159]
Three-layer. L1 — a break-the-siege legal-and-magical thriller that plays as the arc's grand recombination case. L2 — the documented finance-history read strictly *as history* (the Haitian indemnity: Dubois, Gaffield; central-banking coordination: LeBor *Tower of Basel*; the founding-ledger meeting) — Rabbit-Hole Tiers 1-2, presented as documented economic history, no conspiracy framing. L3 (never declared) — the interpretive claim that the same lever recurs across three millennia because it serves one substrate; surfaced only through the siege's structure, never conflated with the L2 record in any player-facing line (§11.5 production discipline). [SRC: T4 §11.2-11.5; aaa_ws3 L223]
Recurrence map (escalating personal stakes → Ch-65 convergence).
---
Naming determination (inherited + Substrate-Echo). Name fixed by built CH_55 (NW_0052 L1136) — not re-minted. *Sisk* is a terse Anglo-Norse operative surname; "the Blind-Spot" ribs a spymaster undone by the one signature he cannot see — the protagonist's — the role-title naming a *gap in vision*, not a person. No sacred name and no culture-name attaches to him; the surveillance register is a settler/operative register (§17.1). [SRC: NW_0052 L1136; NAMING_METHOD]
Persona.
Combat (Pillar 8). Primary infiltrate / perceive (the "blind spot" made literal — astral counter-surveillance to locate the vantage he watches from, unseeable by daylight; aaa_ws3 L214); secondary strike (his intrusion-enforcers + the personal hunt). Axis 30/35/35. Phases evolve not swap: (1) locate the watch — astral-infiltrate to find where the Blind-Spot watches from (the hidden vantage); (2) the apparatus part-break — the Corr-forged surveillance-haunt (a forced samodiva/mara-wraith turned watcher — Construct-Kit class 4) and the Sealed-Athanor argument-construct crack under detection-denial grammar tightened from Ch 46/54; (3) the personal hunt — a bound night-terror (Slavic mara / drekavac) bound specifically to hunt Ana must be broken. Escalation (E33): the net re-voices its Ch-46/54 detection cadences at tightened telegraph, cold-hardened, no new moves. Counters (≥2 each): the watch-vantage → astral route or signature-mask (the folk-charm/mask ward, or the luz-mala vril-flare cover from Ch 54 — folk-superstition beating the family's instruments); the mara-hunt → perceive-read then purge-timing or the apotropaic living practice (the mask that wards, the threshold-charm). Reward: WIN — the watch goes dark and Ana is protected (but see the restructure: not clean); DEATH — the surveillance data persists (Hades loop). Tie to substrate: the fight *is* the "blind spot" made mechanical — you cannot out-fight a watcher you cannot see; you have to go where he cannot look. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L213-216; T4 §7.1 Surveillance stealth-approach]
Three-layer. L1 — an astral counter-surveillance infiltration that becomes a desperate protect-someone-you-love fight. L2 — the Balkan vampir/samodiva and Baltic aitvaras/laumės/velnias as living folk-belief (kukeri masks, nestinari fire-walking as apotropaic practice), and the surveillance-military substrate (classified rift-research), all investigatable. L3 (never declared) — the family's reach is real and instrument-mediated, but has a gap it cannot close; surfaced through the mechanic, never spoken. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L212-217]
Recurrence map (escalating personal stakes → Ch-65 convergence).

Naming determination (fixed). Astrid Vellmark-Corr per built CH_55 (NW_0052 L1137) — the WS4/brief working name "Ilse" is superseded (discrepancy logged for Josh, aaa_ws3 L163). *Corr* reads as a terse operative surname; "the Puppeteer" ribs a magic-user who has never let a thing move on its own — she *forces*, where the protagonist *attunes*. No sacred name, no culture-name; the vril reads mathematical/physical/substrate, never race-mystical (firewalled from the Nazi-occult "Vril Society" myth). [SRC: NW_0052 L1137; vril-vs-Vril-Society firewall; NAMING_METHOD]
Persona.
Combat (Pillar 8). Primary perceive / vril-forensics (reading her forcing-marks — the whole method at Ch 63; aaa_ws3 L232); secondary attune / purge (counter-attuning a site's own resonance against her forcing, freeing the bound guardians). Axis 30/35/35 at Ch 63 — the modern arc's first peer vril-duel. Phases evolve not swap: (1) the forcing read — Vril Sight diagnoses which constructs are forced (negative signature) vs the site's clean sacred register; (2) the duel — Corr vs the protagonist, force vs attunement, as her forcing destabilizes the sites (Rift Instability); (3) the freeing — community + protagonist counter-attune the site's own resonance, freeing the bound guardians so the site testifies to its own keeping (the living title the paper cannot outrank). Escalation (E33 by inheritance): her constructs re-voice every Ch 45/50/51/53/54 forcing-cadence at tightened telegraph — the culmination of the seed-chain, no new moves. Counters (≥2 each): each forced construct → perceive-read then purge-timing or the community's own true practice (the true guardian, the true drum, the true stratigraphy); her forcing-surge → attune-hold or counter-resonance. Reward: WIN — Corr is broken and the sites are freed; the whole unattributed spine of the modern arc retroactively resolves to her hand (the retroactive charge that re-charges the arc); DEATH — her forcing persists and the family learns the protagonist fields peer power (Hades loop). Tie to substrate: the fight *is* force-vs-attunement made mechanical — you cannot out-force a forcer, you have to free what she bound. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L228-236, L261; T4 §5.3]
Three-layer. L1 — a peer magic-duel to free bound sacred guardians and break a land-grab. L2 — the Pacific living traditions honored on their own terms (taniwha CR_0131, patupaiarehe, huakaʻi pō Nightmarchers, Pele, moʻo, aku-aku, Nan Madol's guardian-spirits), distinguished from the modern Western Ropen cryptid (held authorial). L3 (never declared) — the family has demonstrated occult reach; mana is NEVER the vril; surfaced through the duel, never spoken as escalation past the ceiling. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L230-236]

The load-bearing spine rule (AAA_PROPOSAL L186): Corr is the ARMORY. Her forced constructs are what the OTHER champions (the Factor, the Ledger-Hand, the Blind-Spot, the Verderer) deploy so that WS3 move-2 ("Velheim fields supernatural assets") binds on every modern node — appearing unattributed ("the site's own," "a bought thing," "an unnamed forced echo"), resolving to Corr's hand only at Ch 63. This kit is what makes that bind concrete without (a) leaking the family's magic early, (b) breaking Ch 45's no-watcher relief surface, or (c) ever touching a sacred being.
Three constraints bind every class. (1) The fought thing is ALWAYS a mimic / forced construct / non-sacred haunting / turned-or-forced being — NEVER a sacred being; the community's true practice, and any sacred/protective being forced, is the counter/freeing, never the enemy. (2) The vril reads mathematical/physical/substrate, never race-mystical (firewalled from the "Vril Society" myth). (3) The recurring investigative tell is the forcing-mark (the family's binding-signature) — vril-forensics reads it on every construct, and the same mark across the arc is what resolves the unattributed chain to Corr at Ch 63.
Class 1 — BOUND-SPIRIT constructs. A folk-malevolent or neutral being of the region's *own* tradition, seized and forced into a servitor.
Class 2 — FORCED SITE-VRIL / ELEMENTAL constructs. The site's OWN accreted substrate wrenched into a teeth-bearing thing "running on negative vril it did not consent to give."
Class 3 — TURNED-GUARDIAN constructs. A site's OWN protective spirit forced *against its purpose* — the charter's signature move (site-defenders turned into site-attackers).
Class 4 — SURVEILLANCE / WARD constructs. Bound perception-things — the Blind-Spot's preferred deployments.
Class 5 — FABRICATION / MIMIC constructs. An image-construct wearing a shape — a deliberate counterfeit.
Class 6 — DEBT / BINDING-SIGIL constructs. The Ledger-Hand's deployments — a lien made a spell.
Reveal-ladder note on the kit. Every class is deployed unattributed (Corr's hand unseen) from its first appearance (Factor Ch 39 onward) through Ch 62 (read as the site's own / a bought thing / an unnamed forced echo), FAMILY-nameable post-38, but resolving to Corr's hand only at Ch 63. Ch 45's Site-Feeder is the sharpest risk and must stay fully unattributed (relief-surface intact). None of the kit ever names the patriarch (Cassius held dark to Ch 76) or the thesis/Grand-Sage (Ch 77). Ch 57 Kakadu is the deliberate carve-out — no construct, no Velheim asset sets foot there (HL_0008); the kit must not overrun its own maximum-care exception. [SRC: aaa_ws3 L82-84, L174-179, L259]
