Persona — CHAR_0163, Bithus, the freed Thracian gladiator: the core-crew heavy instance of the entity-persona system

CANON SUBORDINATION — this document is PROPOSAL-TIER: it serves canon and never outranks it.
The canon: the CVD · the T1 foundation docs · the T0 registries (registries/) · the spine
(docs/spine/CH_*.md) · the region pages (_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/). Authority order: docs/DOC_MAP.md § 0.
Canon served (scanned from this document's own citations — widen it by hand where it is thin):
CVD §17 · T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document · T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master · T0_Ally_Behavior_Policy · T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry · T0_Character_Index · T0_Faction_Registry · T0_Hard_Lines · T0_Promise_Ledger · T0_Role_Axis_Registry · T0_Vehicle_Registry · T0_Voice_Registry · T0_Worldstate_Variables · docs/spine/CH_28.md · docs/spine/CH_29.md · docs/spine/CH_61.md · docs/spine/CH_65.md · docs/spine/DECISIONS_PENDING_JOSH.md
READ THAT CANON FIRST — open it and derive from it before you build anything from this document.
If this document disagrees with canon, CANON WINS and this document is the defect — fix the
document, never the canon. Nothing here is applied until it is ratified into canon.

This document mints no registry row, edits no canon file, and changes no numerical, naming,

hard-line or §17 content.

Honest tier: PERSONA COMPILATION — TEXT ONLY, NO SURFACE BUILT. This is the second companion-class

instance of the thirteen-field persona spine [SRC: ENTITY_PERSONA_SYSTEM # The common persona spine],

after CHAR_0002. No persona doc set exists yet, T0_Persona_Index is unminted, and §11 proposes a

row shape rather than a row [SRC: ENTITY_PERSONA_SYSTEM # The new structure]. It generates no images,

dispatches no plate program, authors no dialogue line, and stages no beat. No concept-art or mesh

chain exists for CHAR_0163 at all: his own row reads generation_status pending with every mesh

and voice column empty [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163].

PRONOUN NOTE, declared before anything reads it. This document says "he", and unlike the CHAR_0002

exemplar that is NOT a designer-side convention: his gender is rowed, in canon, in his own

loyalty_notes prose — "he LEAVES if the player becomes an owner"

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163]. Nothing about him is inherited from the Ch-1 best-friend

selection, so player-facing surfaces derived from this document may carry the pronoun. The residual

ambiguity — the ratification brief still lists gender among the Josh-facing cardinal items while

D-CAST ratified the core four "as presented" — is finding F-9, not a thing this document reopens.

Citation form, declared on the face. Every citation here is either an insertion-invariant

doc-and-heading-fragment anchor or a registry row-key anchor, in the two SRC forms

harness/check_source_anchors.py proves. This document deliberately carries ZERO line-range

citations: a new line-range pointer hard-fails gate 46 line_citations tooth C5 against a shared

baseline this wave is forbidden to touch. Where a claim rests on a build/ file the path and

section would be named in plain prose instead; no build/ file bears on this persona, because none

exists for him.

NOT DERIVED (authored judgment, and why it had no canon home):

Ch-65-and-after band, each with its own reveal gate). The thirteen-field spine carries care_band

and layer_surfacing and no reveal field, so a path-conditional, reveal-firewalled entity has no

schema slot in which to say what is perceivable and when. The banding is the mandate's own

instruction; the schema hole it exposes is finding F-6 and is the same hole the CHAR_0002 exemplar

found.

requires a motion vocabulary and an ambient set per individual and names none for him

names no companion, so holding it is legal; that it is HIS is this document's inference from the

join of its own trigger condition to the party's own composition, and it is separable from the

measured half beside it, which is that no rowed policy names him at all.

gives his voice register only as a book-processing-blocked field

constraints rather than as characterisation, and they are written to be discardable when the

Thrace enrichment lands.

canon-side; the values are this document's proposal and are marked PROPOSED throughout.

ROUTING NOTE (contract clause 2). persona is not a listed work kind in harness/route.py, so no

route read-set exists to run. The canon nodes read in place of one are the four spine entries

(CH_28, CH_29 and CH_65 in full; CH_61 at its Thrace sections), the T1_Integrity §8.11 sub-section in

full, the CHAR_0163 registry row and its neighbours, and the seven registries enumerated above.

Adding persona to route.py is finding F-8, carried from the exemplar unchanged.

T3 ABSENCE, MEASURED AND STATED (contract clause 2). The mandate directed a read of

T3_Core_Characters and T3_Supporting_Characters for his owning sections. There are none: a

case-insensitive sweep of the whole _source/03_Tier_3_Characters/ tier for Bithus, CHAR_0163,

gladiator, Thracian, Thrace, ludus and arena returns exactly one hit, and it is an Octopus familiar's

ultimate ability naming a combat arena. CHAR_0163's authoritative_doc is

docs/spine/COMPANION_CAST_BRIEF.md [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163] — a proposal-tier

document, where every other core companion points at a T3 tier doc: CHAR_0002 at

T3_Core_Characters_3 and CHAR_0017 at T3_Supporting_Characters_3_03_5_1

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002] [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0017]. This is finding F-2 and

it is the single most consequential fact about his current state: his authority chain terminates in

a proposal.

1. The band law — what may be perceived, and when

Bithus is a path-conditional recruit whose whole span sits between two hard reveal walls: the Ch-38

antagonist-pattern assembly behind him, and the Ch-65 path-lock ahead. The bands below are the

authoring walls.

surface. The chapter's own staging enforces this: at CH28_B05 the Senator's men cut the

protagonist "off from the healer's child and from every familiar she leans on, alone in a cell

with no water at her call and no wings overhead" [SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. There is no party for

him to be a member of inside the ludus, by construction.

earlier, because the chapter's own objective is that she "spend the nights learning the fighters'

names and grievances and hard-earned trust until the school is one held breath"

[SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. This is the join.

sub-bands at Ch 38 (the reveal wall, below), at Ch 41 (Ana returns and he stops being sole melee),

and at Ch 61 (Thrace).

into Ch 66-77.

The reveal firewall, both directions, stated as authoring walls rather than as intentions.

antagonist_family_affiliation none [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163], and CH_28's own

Decisions block sets the ceiling that binds every Ch 29-37 build: the five pattern-components stay

dark to Ch 38 — the House-of-Velheim name, that it is a family, the generational scope, the

awareness-tier taxonomy, and the tie to her elven origin [SRC: CH_28 # Decisions surfaced]. He was

property of the enslaver class and he may feel the machinery of un-personing; he may never name

the hand behind it. Nothing he says gives the pattern an agent-noun

[SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].

Ch-28 or Ch-29 register may presuppose Band-B or Band-C knowledge. He does not yearn for Thrace at

Ch 29 as if he already knew Ch 61 existed; he does not state his departure condition as a warning;

he does not foreshadow the Ch-65 parting. The homecoming is a payoff precisely because it is not

set up as one, and the departure teeth are mechanically real at every band without ever being

spoken. His own belief axis is a rowed value read by a system

[SRC: T0_Worldstate_Variables @ WS_027], not a line he delivers.

Grand-Sage hint, Cassius held Ch 76, the thesis Ch 77 [SRC: CH_65 # Entry header]. Whatever he

says at his parting says nothing of what waits past the ice, because he does not know and never

will.

2. The path-conditional join, expressed non-gatingly — and the spine hook that is missing

His rowed join trigger is free_the_ludus_Ch28, his loyalty_state is recruitable, and his

extensions carry the non-gating clause in terms: recruit_non_gating_other_paths_leave_slot_empty

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163]. The persona must therefore describe the run in which he never

joins as fully as the run in which he does. It does, below. It also states, because the alternative

is a silent defect, that the spine as written does not currently produce the not-joined run.

What the spine actually stages. FORK_CH28_B is the arena sand, anchored at CH28_B06, with three

reachable options — spare every beaten opponent, take the easter-egg sneak-out over the wall before

a bout is called, or take the turned-down thumb against the condemned or the willing

[SRC: CH_28 # Fork graph]. All three resolve the same state key: CH28_B06's out is

{local.sand_resolved: true} [SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. CH28_B07, the liberation, consumes exactly

that key — its in is {local.sand_resolved: true} and its out is `{local.ludus_freed: true,

ws.community_state_per_region: +rome_ludus_fighters_freed}` [SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. So the ludus

is freed on every arena route the fork offers, and the rowed join trigger is satisfied on every one

of them. There is no beat-level condition in CH_28 that withholds the liberation, and therefore none

that leaves the slot empty.

This document does not author one. Inventing a fork arm is authoring canon, and the arena fork is

additionally protected: the Ch-28 capture is "RESOLVED as CANONICAL (Josh 2026-07-13) and must never

be re-surfaced as a fork" [SRC: T0_Promise_Ledger @ PL_0013]. The gap between the rowed

non-gating clause and the staged beat graph is finding F-3, and it belongs to the director.

What the persona says about each run, so the invariant holds whichever way F-3 resolves.

alone; Ana is gone after Rome and her next canonical node is Ch 41

[SRC: CH_28 # End-state carry-forward] [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0017].

player never bonded. The melee slot stays empty and the Ch 29-40 stretch runs Ntala-only — which

is precisely the state the corpus already measures and already tolerates as authored: gap 2, "the

Ch 29-40 mid-ancient stretch has ONE companion (Ntala only)" [SRC: CAST_INVENTORY # THE GAPS].

Nothing walls, because nothing in the arc was ever built on his presence.

freed-ludus community mark and the chapter's own record states the read's discipline: it is

"per-community, non-gating, purely additive, the exam resolving identically without it"

[SRC: CH_65 # Decisions surfaced]. The mark is written by the community, not by him. A run without

Bithus loses a face; it loses no charge-answer.

conservation asks for [SRC: ENTITY_PERSONA_SYSTEM # The hard rule]: Ana's own slot is covered by

Wenceslao when she withdraws [SRC: CAST_INVENTORY # CHAR_0017]. The same class of cover is what a

event carries a non-empty rerouted_paths set and the investment return, and the two clauses are

one contract [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # The Departure Rule].

3. Band 0 — the ludus, as designable presence

He is not a person to the player yet. He is one of "a hundred desperate men" the chapter names in

its own body prose [SRC: CH_28 # Body prose]. What is designable here is the set of things that make

one of them legible enough to become someone at CH28_B07 without any of them being marked as the

one in advance.

combat and transformation and character, ambient_threat high, "the training-yard, arena sand, and

cells of the gladiator-school where the enslaved are kept (the overseer's muscle the high ambient

threat)" [SRC: CH_28 # Key sites and spatial layout]. He sleeps in a cell in that row.

are "unkillable non-targets on every route", and the sand's lethal route is "offered only against

the arena's condemned (the noxii) and the willing (the auctorati who swore the oath)"

[SRC: CH_28 # Fork graph]. He is neither: he is property. So he survives every run, which is what

lets a path-conditional join exist at all.

fighters whose "names and grievances and hard-earned trust" are learnable across the nights

[SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. Band-0 design is therefore a rota, not a character: several fighters

are learnable, and which of them becomes the one who walks out with her is what CH28_B07 decides.

Thracian heritage layer, no Zalmoxis, no homeland, no creed stated as a creed. No hint that any

fighter will travel. No House pattern, no agent-noun, per the D-14 ceiling

[SRC: CH_28 # Decisions surfaced].

place where men are "kept and broken for the Senator's sport and the Senator's muscle"

[SRC: CH_28 # Body prose], and the chapter's own resolution is that "the Roman gladiatorial

slavery is authored honestly as the documented institution it was"

[SRC: CH_28 # Decisions surfaced]. Band 0 renders that, at weight. It is not a training montage.

4. Band A — the breakout and the join

The join beat is CH28_B07, and the chapter already writes everything the join needs except his name

in the actor set.

it — the won-over fighters holding the front while she reads the flank and folds the overseer's

own timing back on him, the whip-hand broken and the gates thrown open and the fighters walking

out free" [SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. The fighters hold the front. That is the shape of his combat

identity, authored before he had a name: he is a man who holds a line so someone else can read the

flank.

Whip, is a Thread-14 sub-boss on the strike-and-restraint verbs, and the win block reads

"liberation — break the overseer and free the ludus"

[SRC: CH_28 # Boss structure] [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0028_S2]. The care framing is

explicit: "the enslaved are the oppressed, freed not fought"

[SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0003].

CH28_B07 whose participants are the protagonist, CHAR_0017 and "the freed fighters"

[SRC: CH_28 # Dialogue and scene anchors]; the beat's own actor set is [protagonist, CHAR_0017]

[SRC: CH_28 # Beat graph]. The chapter names the cohort and defers the individual: the freed

gladiators are "individuated with named leads at region-build where a scene requires, never a

deferred name" [SRC: CH_28 # Key ally NPCs]. Bithus is exactly the named lead that clause

anticipates — and the naming has already happened at ratification while the spine has not been

re-read. That mismatch is finding F-1.

turned-down thumb, and its opportunity effect is that "the killed opponents do not return (a

negative-space read at Ch 65)" [SRC: CH_28 # Fork graph]. A man who joins her having watched her

kill for a crowd starts lower on the ladder than one who watched her spare. The design ground

states the same read and marks it a recommendation

[SRC: COMPANION_ANCIENT-GUEST-2 # His integrity beats mapped]; §7 carries the band vocabulary it

has to move on.

night-watch and be over the wall before a bout is called" [SRC: CH_28 # Fork graph]. On that arm

he never sees her fight at all, which is a genuinely distinct first impression and the one the

persona should treat as its neutral baseline rather than as an absence.

ACTED and not declaimed. Nothing of Ch 61 or Ch 65 exists in this band. The D-14 ceiling holds on

every line [SRC: CH_28 # Decisions surfaced].

his ratified core-crew seat [SRC: DECISIONS_PENDING_JOSH # D-CAST]. The persona owns no fact this row

does not carry or that canon has not authored.

Two cells on that row are worth stating rather than passing over. is_load_bearing is false, where

CHAR_0002's is true — which is correct and is the mechanical statement of the non-gating join: he

is a Tier-3 bonded companion whose loss is weighted and never structural

5.2 identity

Bithus. The name is ruled: "RULED 4 — the Thracian gladiator's name = Bithus (attested Thracian, a

gladiator's name in Horace; the naming-method recommendation; single birth-name, no arena-name pair)"

[SRC: DECISIONS_PENDING_JOSH # D-CAST]. The row encodes the same and its provenance

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163]. The single-birth-name half of that ruling is load-bearing and

easy to lose: the design ground proposed an arena-name-versus-birth-name pair as a design-rich option

[SRC: COMPANION_ANCIENT-GUEST-2 # THE CANDIDATE], and Josh ruled it out. There is no stage name to

discard on the sand. He is Bithus in the cells and Bithus on the ship.

An ancient Thracian, enslaved young and sold to a Roman ludus, freed in the Ch-28 breakout, who

becomes the crew's master-at-arms and ends as a liberator on Earth — his own row states that arc as

5.3 significance_lenses

Drawn from the thirty-three-lens set [SRC: SIGNIFICANCE_LENSES # The complete lens set]. The set is

listed by group without printed ids, so the letter-and-ordinal below is positional within the group

Ch 61's own civilizational mark credits "the documented Iron-Age Thracian world: the spectacular

goldwork and silver of the Panagyurishte treasure … and the painted Hellenistic tombs of Kazanlak

and Sveshtari (UNESCO), the work of a known Indo-European people (never a 'vanished' or 'lost'

population)" [SRC: CH_61 # Civilizational marks]. That last clause is the one that lets him have a

5.5 background_history

Grounded, and deliberately short, because the honest state is that most of it cannot be written yet.

What is authorable now: the arena present, the freedom creed, the combat identity, and the

heritage-reference layer Ch 61 already supplies

[SRC: COMPANION_ANCIENT-GUEST-2 # Culture: an ancient Thracian, enslaved young and sold to a Roman ludus].

An ancient Thracian, taken young, sold into a Palatine ludus, kept and trained and set on the sand

for a senator's sport and a senator's muscle [SRC: CH_28 # Body prose]. He has been property for as

long as he can usefully remember, and the Thraex armature he fights in is a Roman costume put on a

Thracian body — the empire's joke, worn by the man it is about.

What is NOT authorable and must not be faked: his civilian Thracian world — the Zalmoxis mortality

belief, Thracian social structure, the language, daily life, the horseman iconography. His own

registry row states the block in its voice_signature_notes cell:

book_processing_blocked_ancient_thrace_civilian_register_pending_arena_heritage_layer_authorable_now,

and in its extensions:

background_history_voice_register_book_processing_blocked_ancient_thrace_lived_culture_pass

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163]. The brief rows the same dependency

[SRC: COMPANION_CAST_BRIEF # THE BOOK-PROCESSING DEPENDENCY LIST], and the design ground states it

as an honest limit rather than a to-do

The sequencing that keeps this from blocking anything: books never gate. Josh's own ruling, verbatim

in the record — "Book processing is a finishing polish and depth enhancement pass. You should be able

to fan out deep dive to find everything you need for this online yourself to not be blocked or

gated" [SRC: DECISIONS_PENDING_JOSH # BOOKS NEVER GATE]. So the Thrace pass is a deep-research lane,

not a purchase, and the blocked fields are authored at that lane and not before. Care means weight

and authenticity, so the depth is flagged rather than invented — and it is flagged, not deferred

forever.

Anti-fringe discipline that binds every line of his history, from Ch 61's own flag set: the

Thracians did not vanish and were not a lost super-race; the treasures and tombs are the documented

work of a known Iron-Age Indo-European people; the Zalmoxis-as-Pythagoras's-slave biography is

Herodotus's self-doubted secondhand legend; the communist-era "we are the new Thracians" ethnogenesis

construct stays authorial-only and never player-facing [SRC: CH_61 # Anti-fringe / Frame-A flags].

5.6 own_life

The prose account, which stays the authority on what the life means.

His day has a shape for the first time and he is not sure he trusts it. In the ludus the day was

made for him: the yard, the meal, the bout, the cell. Aboard the ship nobody sets his hours, and the

first thing he does with that is rebuild the yard. He runs the training ground — his own row calls

the station "gunner/master-at-arms + training-yard"

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0163] — and it is the one place he is entirely certain of himself.

He is up before the watch changes. He checks the gear, his and everyone's, because a man who was

issued a blade by people who did not care whether he lived checks his own now. He eats with the crew

and does not talk much through it. He drills, and he drills whoever will stand up with him, and the

drill is where he teaches, because the ethic he has to pass on is not sayable — it is the difference

between a strike that ends a fight and a strike that ends a person, and it only lands in the hands.

He sleeps light and near the door. He is not waiting for anything. It is simply how a body learns to

sleep in a cell, and he has not unlearned it, and the persona should not have him unlearn it on

schedule.

The machine projection, against the 5.2.1 column contract

[SRC: ENTITY_PERSONA_SYSTEM # The daily-rhythm axis]. Proposed values are at §11. The same two

columns break for him that broke for CHAR_0002: home_site_ref and work_site_ref take

prefix-typed interior: or zone: references, and a companion who lives aboard the ship sleeps and

works at the ship, which the contract's own vocabulary cannot express. His case is worse than hers,

because the contract for companion life is explicit that "a companion's own_life aboard the

mothership should bind to a crew station"

[SRC: COMPANION_MECHANICS_CONTRACT # INTERFACE 8] — and VH_001's crew_station_object cell is empty

[SRC: T0_Vehicle_Registry @ VH_001]. So the field the contract names as the concrete anchor for his

daily life has no rowed values to anchor to. Finding F-10.

Temperament: level. He does not escalate and he does not go quiet under pressure; he gets shorter and

the San and Rift Valley, the Mbuti, West Africa, southern Africa, and a neutral UI register

[SRC: T0_Voice_Registry @ REGISTER_MANGGARAI_FLORES]. There is no CHAR_0163 row, no Roman register,

Rate modelling, stated so no later pass re-imports a retracted premise. His per-beat relational state

and no-genocide-as-goal, not individual invincibility" [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0003]. What is

6.1 Ch 29-37 — the sole melee, under the forward reveal wall

Ch 61 was rescoped to reach "the Balkans and Thrace" [SRC: CH_61 # Entry header] and credits the

Thracian world in its own civilizational marks, ending on the clause that makes a homecoming possible

at all — assimilated into the later Balkan population, never vanished

[protagonist, CHAR_0156] and CHAR_0163 appears nowhere in the node

[SRC: CH_61 # Beat graph]. This document authors no beat. What it records is the persona shape the

beat would realize, so the owner lane inherits a specification rather than a mood: he stands beside

a living scholar of his own people, against the same power that once sold him, and he says almost

nothing, because the point of the beat is that he is there. The additive framing is the design

he has no vril and is "vulnerable to the supernatural" in exactly the way the party's existing

non-vril melee already is [SRC: CH_28 # Continuity anchor]. That vulnerability is a real combat

texture the party must cover, not a flaw to patch.

8.2 Combat and support vocabulary, joined to ids that resolve — and the ids that do not

His combat identity is rowed: heavy shield-and-sica GUARD-break, real physics, no vril

row that is actually his. Peeling a threat off a lower-durability ally is named in §8.11.8's own

proactivity domain [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # The Intelligence Axis and Ally Behavior Quality],

and the lower-durability ally in his party is a non-combatant with no combat abilities

[SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002]. The exemplar listed AP_0007 as an exclusion for her; it is

the same row and the opposite conclusion, and the pair is the clearest evidence in the corpus that

the policy table is doing real work.

[SRC: T0_Role_Axis_Registry @ ROLE_GROUP_SUPPORT] [SRC: T0_Role_Axis_Registry @ ROLE_GROUP_TERRAIN].

There is no defensive, tank or frontline function_class at all. A guard-break heavy has to be

[SRC: T0_Ally_Behavior_Policy @ AP_0009]. Zero name CHAR_0163.

These four are one finding, F-13, and this document proposes no rows.

Direct control, and the one clause it settles for him. "An ally is a character and not a unit. The

player may choose to control one manually by switching to them … and while an ally is not under the

player's control it acts as that character — according to how it has been specialized and how its

stats have been awarded"

[SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # Direct Ally Control and the Character-Not-Unit Law].

There is no order channel; the player does not command him to hold a door. He holds it because of who

he is and how he was built. For a companion whose entire arc is about no longer taking orders, that

ruling is not incidental — it is the mechanic and the theme landing on the same clause, and the

persona should never be authored against it.

9. Care, the content bar, and the arena rendered honestly

The chapter offers a real killing floor — "the sand is an honest killing floor and it offers her

the kill the editor wants without ever forcing it" [SRC: CH_28 # Body prose] — and the fork's

corrosive arm is exactly that: "take the turned-down thumb against the condemned or the willing —

the colder heavier walk" [SRC: CH_28 # Fork graph]. None of that is softened here and none of it is

made ironic.

than authored disapproval.

un-attackable, and it never sanitizes toward rated-G" [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0003]. At Ch 28 the

enslaved are non-targets as a class, and the combat layer is the overseer, the constructs and the

Senator's apparatus [SRC: CH_28 # Protected-chapter combat framing]. Rome itself is not a protected

culture; it is authored as a civilization of law, engineering and philosophy whose senator corrupts

it [SRC: CH_28 # Civilizational marks], and the Stoic tradition is honoured precisely as the thing

this persona before Ch 38, and none is ever voiced by him

[SRC: CH_65 # Entry header]. And nothing of Ch 61 or Ch 65 is foreshadowed on a Ch 28-37 surface,

which is the wall the author who has read this document is most likely to walk through.

10. Prose-register compliance

10.1 CVD §17.14

Authored to CVD §17.14: plain prose, single-level dashed bullets, no code blocks carrying

paste-content, H2 through H4 headings only, no emphasis asterisks in the body, affirmative framing

[SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 17.14]. The one table at §11 carries structured per-column

data of the kind the spine entries themselves table, and it carries no paste-content.

10.2 Citation form

Anchor form throughout, zero line-range citations, for the reason stated at the head of the document.

Registry claims resolve to a row key in a first column; doc claims resolve to a heading or bold

lead-in fragment.

10.3 The register this persona is authored against

Rated-M, don't-defang. The standing bar is Josh's own, and it was stated most sharply against exactly

this instinct: stop making it a rated-G game and a history lecture

[SRC: DECISIONS_PENDING_JOSH # D-HL-DOCHIST-FIGURE]. A persona for a man who killed for a crowd, that

never quite says he killed for a crowd, would fail that bar while looking careful. This one says it.

It mints no registry row, edits no canon file, applies no ally-behaviour policy, and does not touch

docs/DOC_MAP.md, docs/PIPELINE_LEDGER.md, any registry CSV, any spine entry, or any shared

baseline. It sets no numeric relational value, authors no dialogue line and no journal text, stages

no beat, and produces no image, plate or geometry. It does not reopen the D-CAST core-four

ratification, the name Bithus, the single-birth-name ruling, the invested_sticky tuple, the Ch-28

capture canon, or the Ch-65 lock, all of which are ruled. It does not author the ancient-Thrace

civilian substrate, which is book-processing-blocked on his own row and belongs to the Thrace

enrichment lane. It does not widen the arena's care framing or narrow it by a word.
