STATUS: PROPOSAL-TIER design sheet, written to docs/proposals/bestiary/BESTIARY_ELEVATION_DOCTRINE.md
and critic-gated against its ten refusal tests. It cites canon rows and writes none. It is the
CREATURE-side sheet for a register whose ENCOUNTER sheet already landed, and § 1.1 rules the division
of labour before it authors anything.

(the body-behind-a-landed-encounter and plural-register precedents)
docs/proposals/bestiary/sheets/BE_0006_S1_tovil_yaka.md is LANDED and it already authors a complete
encounter: the ward-line arena, five tell shapes with one answer each, the affliction-to-affliction
diagnostic, the multiplication-as-ambiguity escalation on four channels, the opener tree, two
breakable parts with silhouette fractions, the chain-meter body state, the relocation, and the win and
loss. FIRST-LANDED GOVERNS — the precedent is DIRECTOR_RULING_L12 RULING_4, re-affirmed at
DIRECTOR_RULING_L13 RULING_2 and applied twice more at DIRECTOR_RULING_L14 RULING_3 — and the
division of labour follows from what the landed sheet actually contains rather than from a plan. It is
the CR_0177 shape run one chapter earlier in the arc.
axis split (30/40/30), the ward-line staging, the five tell shapes and their single answers, the
diagnostic, the escalation channels, the part economy and its fractions, the relocation and the
win/loss are its, and this sheet quotes them where it needs them and changes nothing. No new tell
shape, no new answer, no fourth elevation axis, no re-cut of the diagnostic.
base_species blockreads, in full, "the humanoid archetype and the retarget path the creature-animation program already
assigns — spine chain, two limb pairs, the standard joint roster" and "declared ROM: human baseline
throughout" [BE_0006_S1:42-47]. It names no joint, no segment count, no chain minimum and no
number. That is not a criticism of the sheet, which predates the amendment: doctrine § 2.1's inline
licence EXPIRED at DIRECTOR_RULING_L12 RULING_3, after which a covered row DERIVES from its
archetype bucket and cites the path. § 2 does that, and it is the single largest thing this sheet
adds.
Mahasona-register graveyard-and-crossroads demon or Riri-Yaka blood-demon or ONE OF the Daha-ata
Sanniya" [CH_06.md:111] — and the landed encounter sheet designs ONE opponent without saying how the
set's three canon-named registers are told apart. § 4.1 supplies that, built from canon's own three
descriptors and from nothing else, on the CR_0179 plural-register precedent.
rows_read list is the boss registry, the spine, the region page and the link graph [BE_0006_S1:30-32]. It did not read

length [BE_0006_S1:79-92] but ran no control. § 3 runs both, and the region page has already run
the negative one to a standard this lane can cite rather than repeat.
here by file:line rather than restated as new; every element this sheet builds is one the landed
sheet does not contain.
This row is one half of the pair that makes the chapter's central care ruling enforceable in data
rather than only in prose. The other half is CR_0175, and the discrimination that separates them is
the shared contract immediately below, which lands byte-identically on all three of this wave's
sheets. It is read as part of this sheet and it is not sheet-specific.
THIS SECTION IS SHARED. It is authored once and lands byte-identically on all three Chapter-6
spirit-register sheets, because the care line it enforces is a line BETWEEN rows, and a discrimination
stated differently on two sheets is not a discrimination at all. Nothing in it is sheet-specific,
nothing in it cites a sheet's own line numbers, and a later edit made to one copy and not to all three
has broken the contract rather than improved a sheet.
WHAT IT ENFORCES, in canon's own words. "[T]he malevolent Tovil yakku (Mahasona the graveyard demon,
Riri Yaka the blood demon, the Daha-ata Sanniya) are the Sinhalese tradition's OWN condemned
disease-demons, exorcised because harmful by the kattadiya/edura in the Tovil / Sanni Yakuma rite ...
a completely different register from the revered Vedda nae-yaku ANCESTRAL spirits, which are
benevolent and protected; only the former is villain material, and the two are never conflated"
[docs/spine/CH_06.md:225]. The at-risk claim named on that same line is "lumping all Sri Lankan
spirit-beings together, or rendering the yakku as generic movie demons." The region page states the
line again and says where it lives: the two "are never conflated, never pooled under one word, never
staged in the same category, and the protagonist's whole learning curve in this chapter is to keep
them apart" [_source/02_Tier_2_Region_Pages/sri_lanka.md:651-655].
THE WORD YAKA IS A CATEGORY AND NOT A VERDICT, AND THAT IS THE WHOLE PROBLEM THIS CONTRACT SOLVES.
Three different beings in this chapter carry it, and the traditions themselves sort them: a Sinhalese
condemned register the community EXPELS, a Vedda revered register the community FEEDS, and a
counterfeit that wears a third party's form. A player who learns that a yaka is the thing at the edge
of the firelight will misfile a living community's honoured dead the first time the word is used near
them. So the discrimination is built into the bodies, the rendering and the staging, and it is made
before any line of dialogue explains anything.
| register | canon rows | does it have a body of its own? | the read at combat distance |
|---|---|---|---|
| THE EXORCISED — the malevolent Tovil yakku | CR_0173 | YES, and it is the only one of the three that owns one | a person-shaped outline at the edge of a lit space with the wrong hardware breaking its head silhouette |
| THE REVERED — the Vedda Nae Yaku, and Kande Yaka and Bilindi Yaka with them | CR_0175, CR_0176 | NO. Never a figure, never an outline, never on screen as a thing | there is no outline. The read is the world's answer and the community's own practice, never a shape |
| THE COUNTERFEIT — the deceiver-yaka wearing a revered form | CR_0172 | A BORROWED ONE, and never one of its own | a sovereign serpent court-form missing the things a body of that size does to the world around it |
SILHOUETTE FIRST, AND THE STRONGEST DISCRIMINATION AVAILABLE IS THE ONE THIS SET GETS FOR FREE: two of
the three registers produce a silhouette and the third produces NONE. Black-fill the frame at the
shipped combat camera and the exorcised register is a crouching or standing person-shape whose head
outline is broken by animal hardware; the counterfeit is a raised serpent forebody over a coiled base;
and the revered register contributes nothing to the fill, because it has no body to fill with. A
player cannot confuse a thing with a thing that is never drawn.
ICONOGRAPHY SECOND, AND CANON ASSIGNS IT EXCLUSIVELY. "[M]ythologically-stylized only for the
deceiver-yaka and the Tovil demons and their masks", against "realistic-ethnographic for the
Sinhalese, Vedda, and Tamil communities, monuments, and tank-country" [CH_06.md:240]. So the
stylized register is spent on exactly two of the three and is WITHHELD from the third by the same line
that grants it. The revered register is never drawn in the condemned register's visual vocabulary, and
it is not drawn in any vocabulary at all, because it has no rendered form. The counterfeit is stylized
as the form it stole and never as a register of its own. And the living sacred practice on either side
is REFERENCED AND NEVER REPRODUCED: the rite's masks and objects are "referenced not reproduced and
the living-religion objects handled with care" [CH_06.md:244], every rendering the game ships is
declared as the game's own rather than as the tradition's, and no consecrated object is an asset.
STAGING THIRD, AND THE CHAPTER HAS ALREADY PUT ALL THREE ON DIFFERENT GROUND. The exorcised register
is faced at village_edura_ward — "a protected space, a real fight, routed only through the
tradition's own condemned yaka" [CH_06.md:99] — at night, inside the community's own rite, beside
the community's own kattadiya/edura, and it is driven out rather than hunted down. The revered
register belongs to vedda_forest, "a protected living community, never a combat zone"
[CH_06.md:95], at that community's own occasion, attended by invitation and never intruded upon. The
counterfeit holds naga_water_shrine, a place it usurped, "deliberately distinct from the protected
living sacred city so combat is never routed at Anuradhapura" [CH_06.md:97]. THREE REGISTERS, THREE
GROUNDS, AND NO GROUND CARRIES TWO.
never named by a shared term, never glossed by a shared term, and never grouped under one heading in
a dex, a journal, a lore fragment, a subtitle or a bark. The seventeenth-century observer's own
flattening word for all of them is HIS, it is renamed at every use, and each being is carried under
its own name and in its own category [sri_lanka.md:324-333].
two of the three registers in one frame is a defect even when the frame is a comparison.
the way a body returns light. The revered register is never lit, because it is never there to light.
Nothing in any of the three registers is self-lit.
the healing rite; the revered register's is the slow circling invocation around a fixed arrow; and
the two are never mixed, never sampled from one another, and never cued from one another.
lore. The revered register is documented and witnessed and pays out a DISTINCTION. No drop, trophy,
collectible or completion payload is ever sourced from the revered register, because a drop taken
from a living community's honoured dead is the defamation that register exists to prevent.
Failing the revered register costs the player the community's regard and the assistance conduct had
earned. Neither failure is ever expressed as harm done to a revered being, and NO ROUTE EXISTS on
which a revered being is damaged, reduced, warded, banished, contained or killed.
The deceiver at the water-shrine is ALSO a yaka, and it is the reason a rule stated only as
"condemned versus revered" is not enough. It is condemned like the first register and it wears a
revered form like the second is owed, so a player carrying either half of the rule alone will misread
it. THE PLACEMENT: the counterfeit is sorted by what it STOLE rather than by what it is. It wears the
genuine Naga's sovereign court-form — a conscious sacred people of this island, inviolate, and
striking one "a designed failure state, never a victory" [CH_06.md:221] — and it is read by the
things that form does to the world and this one does not. It never wears the revered ancestral
register's form, and it cannot, for the same reason that register is legible at all: there is no form
there to steal. The discrimination between the counterfeit and the genuine sovereign it impersonates
is the main encounter's own work and belongs to that encounter's sheet; this contract fixes only where
the counterfeit sits relative to the other two and asserts nothing that contradicts it.
The chapter's gift is "that to see clearly is to be responsible for what you see" [CH_06.md:35], and
this set is where it lands hardest: one word covers a thing a community's own healer spends a night
expelling, a thing another community feeds and thanks, and a thing that is neither and is wearing a
stolen coat. THE TRADITIONS DO THE SORTING AND THE GAME SHOWS THEM DOING IT. Nothing here is an
outsider's taxonomy laid over the top, no NPC debunks anyone, and no player action is a debunk.
build/3d/schema/creature_archetype_map.json places CR_0173 inNEEDS_CANON_BODY_PLAN and every anatomy bucket scopes those rows out, because "a reference table
that guessed one would be inventing creature canon" [HUMANOID.json § scope]. The row's own
mesh_tags.morphology reads "folklore", a provenance word standing where a body plan belongs.
The landed encounter sheet rules "HUMANOID-COMPOSITE, and the composite is ATTESTED rather than
designed" on the corpus's own eyewitness of the rite's images — "all deformed but something
resembling the shape of a man", some with long tusks like a boar, some with horns like a bull
[BE_0006_S1:36-41; SRC_00237, p. 62]. Under first-landed-governs that IS the archetype. So this
sheet derives from HUMANOID.json by ARCHETYPE COVERAGE — the test doctrine § 2.1 actually states
("or whose archetype a bucket covers") — and § 9 boards the census assignment as the registry-side
decision it is.

"kattadiya — zero occurrences; tovil returns no true hit either (the two apparent matches are

designs the BODIES and refuses to design the DEMONOLOGY — and the refusal takes its SCOPE from the
region page's own list rather than from a wider one this lane wrote.** What is refused is exactly
what the page refuses: "the demonology's own internal structure: the named yakku (Mahasona, Riri
Yaka, the Daha-ata Sanniya), the diagnostic system that identifies which yaka afflicts, the mask
iconography, or the rite's own sequence and liturgy" [sri_lanka.md:629-632]. So no named yaka is
given an invented ICONOGRAPHY, an invented diagnostic or affliction signature, an invented mask, an
invented rite sequence or liturgy, an invented etiology or an invented name-form, and the names the
spine carries are carried and not extended. **WHAT IS NOT REFUSED, STATED HERE BECAUSE A RULE
WRITTEN WIDER THAN THE PAGE'S WOULD HAVE FORBIDDEN THIS SHEET'S OWN DESIGN:** § 4.1's declared
material states in the joint hollows — the grave-earth and road-dust of the ground state, the
blood-matter of the substance state — are not iconography, not a diagnostic and not a mask. They are
the GAME'S OWN rendering of canon's own two descriptors, declared as invention in § 7 rather than
offered as the tradition's, and they stand as the calibrated bold read rather than being pulled back
by a sentence this sheet wrote too absolutely. § 4.1's three states are built out of canon's own
three descriptors — a GROUND, a SUBSTANCE and a COUNT — and out of nothing else,
which is why they can be true without the demonology being known. **A DESIGN THAT INVENTED THE
DAHA-ATA SANNIYA'S EIGHTEEN FACES WOULD BE THE CITATION TEST'S EXACT FAILURE MODE**, and it would be
a lie about a living tradition's own condemned register told in the tradition's own voice.
an empty sheet.** HL_0002: "Claims about a LIVING culture's tradition, ritual, language, or sacred
practice trace to primary-source record (floors 1-3). Mythic monsters, boss encounters, dungeon/site
design, and adventure content carry fantasy license — grounded in the tradition's own material but
free to extrapolate for playable spectacle; they are not bound to a citable source"
[T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0002]. The tradition's own material here is the register's existence, its three
canon-named members, its condemned status, the rite that expels it and the staging the eyewitness
records. The body that carries them is ours.
RULING, RE-ATTRIBUTED HERE SO A LATER LANE LOOKS IN THE RIGHT PLACE.** HL_0002's second clause would
have permitted MORE than this sheet takes: a condemned disease-demon driven out at a boss encounter
is squarely "[m]ythic monsters, boss encounters ... carry fantasy license", and on that clause alone
a lane could have extrapolated a distinct iconography for each of the three canon-named members and
been inside the hard line while doing it. What forbids that is not HL_0002 — it is the ROW,
which rules one cohort sheet on the ground that minting the named members separately "would author,
IN DATA, exactly the internal demonology the page declines to assert — and the Daha-ata Sanniya is
itself an eighteen-being set, so 'several named rows' is really nineteen rows of unattested
structure" [@ CR_0173 :: notes], with the region page's refusal list [sri_lanka.md:629-632] as
that ruling's own ground. The ceiling is therefore CANON-SIDE AND ROW-LEVEL rather than hard-line
level, it is a constraint this sheet adopts rather than one it is compelled into, and § 4.1's
answer is measured against the row and not against HL_0002.
The row rules it and gives three grounds: the page refuses to assert the internal demonology, so
minting Mahasona, Riri Yaka and the eighteen as separate designs "would author, IN DATA, exactly the
internal demonology the page declines to assert — and the Daha-ata Sanniya is itself an eighteen-being
set, so 'several named rows' is really nineteen rows of unattested structure"; the spine's own OR-set
leaves the register deliberately unpinned; and the CR_0163 precedent keeps a canon-named pair on one
row [@ CR_0173 :: notes]. THE SPLIT IS THE RATIFIED FOLLOW-ON the moment the acquisition lands,
and § 9 boards it rather than pre-empting it. This is the CR_0179 shape — canon uses a compound
register word, so the sheet builds ONE body grammar under all its names and assigns no name a
distinguishing FORM.
THE AXIS SET IS BE_0006_S1'S AND IS CARRIED UNCHANGED. THIS SHEET ADDS NO AXIS. Under
first-landed-governs, adding a fourth axis to a landed elevation would be exactly the drift the L12
ruling exists to stop. The three, quoted:
hardware: long boar tusks erupting from a human jaw, or a bull's horn sheaths set on a human skull"
[BE_0006_S1:104-107], with the landed design instruction that keeps it out of generic-movie-demon
territory: "the hardware is set ON a human skull rather than replacing it with an animal one, so the
face stays legible as a face and the wrongness is an ADDITION to a person rather than a substitution
of a beast" [:107-111].
skin's condition, the swelling, the wet or the cracking, the way the light sits on it — this is the
axis that makes it a DISEASE-demon rather than a monster with a health bar" [BE_0006_S1:113-116].
§ 4.1 is this axis's second job and is the one thing this sheet adds to the elevation.
or a limb does not displace the smoke it passes through. One instance, not a theme"
[BE_0006_S1:118-121], grounded in the one attested belief that these beings are held to be the
spirits of persons who died before.
MECHANISM, the landed sheet's: "it fastens. The being's whole nature is attachment to an afflicted
person, and every elevation above serves that — the hardware is for holding on, the corruption is what
it has already taken, the absence is the part of it that is no longer a person"
[BE_0006_S1:123-127].
ONE-LINE READ, the landed sheet's: "a man-shaped thing at the edge of the firelight wearing the
sickness it brought, and carrying the wrong animal's head-hardware for the face underneath"
[BE_0006_S1:101-102].
EMISSION: NONE, the landed sheet's ruling and this sheet's confirmation against the row. No element
is set, no emitting family is claimed. "The encounter is lit by lamps, by the rite's fire, and by
nothing the creature owns. Everything frightening about it is a thing the firelight finds"
[BE_0006_S1:128-129]. The glow test passes by construction.
THIS IS NOT A FOURTH AXIS. IT IS THE LANDED A5 AXIS SPENT A SECOND TIME, on the place a body came
from rather than on the sickness it carries, which is the axis's own second half — "the place written
on it" — and it is the thing a plural row owes that a singular encounter sheet did not have to answer.
THE PROBLEM, STATED EXACTLY. The row is one register with three canon-named members and the corpus
carries nothing about what any of them looks like. Three designed iconographies would be three
inventions wearing the tradition's authority. One undifferentiated body would collapse a set canon
names three ways. **THE RESOLUTION: ONE BODY GRAMMAR, THREE ARRIVAL STATES, AND EACH STATE IS BUILT
FROM THE ONE DESCRIPTOR CANON ITSELF GIVES THAT MEMBER AND FROM NOTHING ELSE.** Canon gives a GROUND,
a SUBSTANCE and a COUNT; the design gives back a ground, a substance and a count.
| canon's descriptor, quoted | what the design reads it as | what a player sees |
|---|---|---|
| "Mahasona the graveyard demon" [CH_06.md:225], staged as a "graveyard-and-crossroads demon" [CH_06.md:111] — A GROUND | the A5 material is the ground it crossed to get here: grave-earth and road-dust packed into the joint hollows and dried in layers, and an approach that runs along the road-line and stops at a crossing rather than cutting the field | it comes IN on a line the player can see on the map, and it is dressed in the dirt of somewhere else |
| "Riri Yaka the blood demon" [CH_06.md:225] — A SUBSTANCE | the A5 material is blood-matter, dried dark in the same hollows and wet at the hands, and it is the being's own carried substance rather than a wound on it | it is the same silhouette carrying a different material, and the material is legible at contact distance and at nothing further |
| "one of the Daha-ata Sanniya" [CH_06.md:111], "the Daha-ata Sanniya" [CH_06.md:225] — A COUNT | the design reads the eighteen as a NAMED SET the tradition holds and the corpus does not carry, so the game builds ONE body that arrives declared as one of a named set, and the naming is the RITE'S work rather than the mesh's. There are no eighteen designed faces, and there is no nineteenth invention | the difference the player perceives is that this one has a name the edura is trying to find, and the diagnosis is the fight |
WHY THE COUNT-STATE IS THE HONEST ANSWER AND NOT A DODGE. The landed encounter already makes the
diagnosis the puzzle lane — "the row's 'perceive the affliction's tell to name the right yaka' built
without inventing a single specialist detail" [BE_0006_S1:169-174]. A design that answered the
eighteen with eighteen bodies would not only breach the ceiling, it would DELETE that mechanic, because
a set whose members are visually distinct needs no diagnosis. The ceiling and the fight want the same
thing, which is usually the sign a constraint has been read correctly rather than merely obeyed.
WHAT THE THREE STATES COST THE ASSET LANE: one mesh, three material states, no new geometry, no new
rig and no new silhouette. That is the whole spend, and it is why the register can be plural without
the build being.
curves, two arm and two leg chains of at least four bones each, ten hand-digit chains of at least
three, both clavicles, sixty deform bones minimum, bilateral symmetry, passive ROM exactly as
declared. The landed sheet's own line stands: "the humanoid rig, unchanged, on the standard retarget
path" [BE_0006_S1:133].
**THE CARRIED ADDITIONS, each with its attachment, its bind, its load path and its cost. All four are
the landed sheet's and this sheet supplies the skeletal account they owe.**
joint, because a tusk is bone and does not articulate [BE_0006_S1:134-136]. WEIGHT PATH, which the
landed sheet asserts and does not trace: the added mass sits forward of the temporomandibular axis,
so it is carried by the mandibular elevators in the closed pose and by the cervical chain in the
open one — which is why it changes the jaw's REST ANGLE, authored into the idle rather than left to
the animator, and why the neck's carriage in § 2's walk is already loaded before the creature does
anything.
rigid bind and shift the head's centre of mass forward [BE_0006_S1:140-141]. WEIGHT PATH: forward
of the atlanto-occipital joint, so the cervical extensors carry it continuously and the head is
never allowed to hang. TUSKS AND HORNS ARE ALTERNATIVES AND NEVER BOTH, which is the landed sheet's
own either/or and is restated because "both" is the chimera the doctrine's budget exists to stop.
added segments" [BE_0006_S1:146-147]. § 4.1's three arrival states ride this same layer and add
nothing to it.
no mark, no seam. Three axes, two pieces of rigid hardware, and one material state.
THE TWO CARRIED ROM EXPANSIONS, THEIR MECHANISM, AND THE HARD CAPS THIS SHEET PUTS ON THEM. The
landed sheet declares exactly two departures past human range: the JAW "opening past human range at
the hinge, with the excess taken in the joint itself and a visible strain in the masseter line ... one
human jaw opened too far, which is worse", and the NECK at "about fifteen degrees past human at the
atlanto-occipital joint, used once per encounter" [BE_0006_S1:137-145]. Both are carried under
first-landed-governs and neither is re-cut. What this sheet adds is the thing that makes them
designed structures rather than licensed injuries.
these beings are held to be, in many cases, "the spirits of persons who died before"
[sri_lanka.md:624-625; SRC_00237, p. 62]. So the body is a person's plan without a person's
checks: the ligamentous and capsular restraints that make those two ranges injuries in a living body
are precisely what this one no longer has, and the excess is taken in the joint because there is
nothing left to stop it. That is why the strain reads in the muscle line rather than in the bone,
and it is why the motion looks WRONG rather than looking capable. Vril alters real physics rather
than suspending it: the joint is a real joint that has lost a real structure, and the cost is
visible.
the landed sheet's own description — one hinge, opened past the human envelope, with NO second
hinge, NO mandibular disarticulation and NO translation — and the atlanto-occipital departure is
capped at the landed fifteen degrees **IN THE SAGITTAL PLANE ONLY: a nod carried past human, with
zero added axial and zero added lateral at that joint.**
AS A CARRY.** Neither source names a plane. The landed sheet says only "about fifteen degrees past
human at the atlanto-occipital joint, used once per encounter" [BE_0006_S1:142-143], and
HUMANOID.json publishes the neck as one summed chain — "cervical spine (summed)", ±45
flexion-extension, ±45 lateral, ±80 axial — with no per-joint entry for the atlanto-occipital joint
at all [§ joints]. So the LOCATION is carried under first-landed-governs and the PLANE is assigned
here, on the anatomy: the atlanto-occipital joint is the NOD's joint, and cervical axial rotation is
overwhelmingly ATLANTOAXIAL. **WHERE THE HEAD TURN NEEDS MORE THAN A PERSON'S, THE EXCESS IS TAKEN IN
THE SUMMED CERVICAL CHAIN AND IS SEATED AT C1-C2**, inside the table's own ±80, rather than being
loaded onto a joint that does not rotate. A departure assigned to the wrong plane at the right joint
is the same defect class as an over-declared range: it licenses a pose the anatomy refuses.
NO OTHER RANGE ON THIS RIG IS EXPANDED ANYWHERE, and every remaining joint holds the table's
passive envelope exactly. Two expansions, both bounded, both mechanised, both planed, and the rest
of the body refuses what a person's refuses.
used once reads as horror. A large one used often reads as a rig error" [BE_0006_S1:144-145]. The
neck departure is once per encounter and the jaw's is tied to the fastening. An animator who spends
either freely has spent the design.
over-declared ROM licenses poses the solver should refuse, and the sibling CR_0179 sheet states the
rule in its sharpest form — "an under-declared range refuses poses, and an over-declared one licenses
injuries", which is why the only range it moved it moved DOWNWARD. The landed BE_0006_S1 moves two
ranges UPWARD and predates both the amendment and that formulation. This sheet does not edit it —
first-landed governs — and instead supplies the mechanism and the caps above so the expansions are
bounded structures. § 9 boards it as landed-sheet drift for that sheet's next touch in the
DIRECTOR_RULING_L13 RULING_7 form.
The doctrine's § 3C register is a live candidate here and the sheet argues it rather than ignoring it.
The case FOR is real: this register's whole surviving visual evidence in the corpus is IMAGES — "images
made by the weavers, painted in many colours in horrible and monstrous shapes" [sri_lanka.md:616-617]
— and the tradition's masks are named on the chapter's own sacred-objects line [CH_06.md:244], which is
exactly the shape § 3C was declared from ("a being whose primary evidence is an IMAGE rather than a
description").
REFUSED, ON THREE GROUNDS, AND THE REFUSAL IS THE BOLDER READ RATHER THAN THE SAFER ONE.
1. § 3C's first requirement is that "the pictorial convention IS the skeleton", and this corpus does
not carry the convention. The region page rules the mask iconography ABSENT
[sri_lanka.md:627-635, :1345-1349]. Building a body out of a pictorial register nobody in this
repo can open would invent the register and then hide the invention inside a doctrine clause — a
worse failure than an ordinary invention, because it would look like discipline.
2. Canon stages this being as a physical thing in the world that FASTENS on a person and is driven back
out into the dark [CH_06.md:142], not as a depiction that occupies surfaces. § 3C's part economy is
SURFACES and its motion is substitution on a frame boundary; this encounter's part economy is BODY
and its motion is a fight at a threshold. The register would fight the encounter.
3. First-landed governs: BE_0006_S1 already ruled HUMANOID-COMPOSITE with a rig, a gait and a
fastening [BE_0006_S1:36-52], and § 3C would replace all of it.
WHAT IS TAKEN FROM § 3C, BECAUSE IT BINDS HERE WHETHER OR NOT THE REGISTER DOES: ITS CARE RULE.
"[W]here the depicting tradition is living, the being is drawn in THAT tradition's pictorial register
and never in a western horror one, no real devotional object is reproduced as an asset, and the sheet
declares its drawing as the game's own rather than as the tradition's." Applied here without
exception: the rite's masks and objects are "referenced not reproduced" [CH_06.md:244], no mask is
modelled from a real one, no consecrated object is an asset, the body is drawn in the register the
corpus's own eyewitness of the rite's image-making describes rather than in a horror-film one, and
THE GAME'S RENDITIONS ARE THE GAME'S OWN AND ARE NEVER PRESENTED AS THE TRADITION'S ICONOGRAPHY.
That declaration is made here, on the sheet's face, and it inherits to every plate, mesh and string
authored from this material.
THE GRAMMAR IS BE_0006_S1'S AND IS CITED, NOT RE-AUTHORED. Verbs banish and perceive, axis
30/40/30; the ward-line arena where "the player holds the WARD LINE ... and the entire encounter is
fought at that line and not in the room" [BE_0006_S1:155-159]; five tell shapes with one answer each
[:161-167]; the affliction-to-affliction diagnostic [:169-174]; the multiplication-as-ambiguity
escalation and its four channels [:176-187]; the opener and its variants [:189-190]; the two breakable
parts with their fractions [:192-196]; the chain-meter body state [:198-201]; the relocation from the
shut house to the open courtyard [:203-205]; and the win and loss [:207-210].
WHAT THIS SHEET SUPPLIES IS THE BODY ORIGIN LAYER DOCTRINE PART FOUR ASKS FOR — which segment
initiates, which chain loads, which mass moves — derived from § 2 and § 5. The shapes and the answers
are unchanged; nothing below adds, removes or re-aims one.
| the landed tell shape | the body origin, derived from § 2 and § 5 | the landed answer, unchanged |
|---|---|---|
| the crouch at the light's edge | the hip and knee load toward the table's mid-flexion range and the thoracolumbar chain flexes forward within its summed 0-80; the mass moves onto the forward foot with the subtalar joint taking the ground's slope, so the whole body is already loaded before anything crosses | HOLD the line — meet it where it enters |
| the reach past the line | the scapulothoracic chain protracts to its 30 and rotates upward first, THEN the glenohumeral opens — the table's own note that the last of the reach comes from the girdle rather than the shoulder, which is why the tell begins at the shoulder blade and not at the hand | BREAK the reach — a contact surface offered, and meetable |
| the head turn around the ward | the turn itself runs out inside the table's summed ±80 axial and is seated at C1-C2, where cervical rotation actually lives; the ONE carried expansion rides on the END of it at the atlanto-occipital joint and is SAGITTAL — the last fifteen degrees taken as a nod past human as the face comes round; the hardware's forward mass makes the turn slow and its arrest visible | PERCEIVE — this is the moment the affliction shows on the face |
| the whole-body commitment at a drummer | both leg chains drive, the pelvis counter-rotates against the shoulder girdle and the arm swing goes anti-phase — the table's own walk solver run at its top, which is why the commitment is legible as a person's gait pushed past what a person spends | DODGE and re-close the line behind it |
| the fastening | the ten hand-digit chains close inside their human envelope while the jaw's carried expansion opens; the load passes hand to radioulna to elbow at its 0-150 hinge to the glenohumeral joint and through the clavicle-strutted girdle, which is why the clavicle stays a required bone on this rig | NAME it — the perceive read spent, the grip broken by the name |
ONE SHAPE, ONE ANSWER throughout — the landed sheet's own property, preserved because nothing was
added.
PART ECONOMY HOME: BODY, declared by name per doctrine § 2.4, and the landed sheet's two parts are
carried with their fractions unchanged — the TUSKS or HORN SHEATHS at about 0.09 of silhouette, whose
break "removes the fastening's grip and is a permanent subtraction from the live moveset", and the
AFFLICTION CRUST at shoulder and forearm at about 0.07, whose break "exposes the reading surface and is
a legibility gain rather than a damage gain" [BE_0006_S1:192-196]. **§ 4.1'S THREE ARRIVAL STATES ARE
EXPLICITLY NOT A THIRD PART**: they are a READ, they have no break threshold, no break event and no
material, and calling one a part would be adding to a landed economy. Named here so no later lane
mistakes a visible state for a breakable one.
THE MATERIAL CURRENCY IS THE LANDED SHEET'S AND IS NOT RE-DESIGNED: the Tovil demonology lore, riding
the boss row rather than this one, which is why rng_drop_anchor is a declared blank on the creature
row [@ CR_0173 :: notes]. § 9 reports what a scan of T0_RNG_Drop_Table returns for the id the row
names.
TIER DISCIPLINE, per the row and the chapter: naming which yaka afflicts is a Neophyte-register read of
the affliction's own tell and of the rite's diagnosis as the tradition performs it, never a tier-6
vril-signature read; the substrate-perception onset waits at the Ch-15 Adeptus-Minor crossing
[CH_06.md:17, :221; HL_0028 / HL_0017].
WHERE THE FIGHT HAPPENS, AND WHERE IT DOES NOT. village_edura_ward is protected true and hosts
CH06_B06, and HL_0004 is the rule that makes that legal: "a protected space, a real fight, routed only
through the tradition's own condemned yaka" [CH_06.md:98-99, :88]. Combat is "walled off the protected
living sacred city and the Vedda forest" [CH_06.md:88], so **NO PART OF THIS REGISTER IS EVER STAGED AT
ANURADHAPURA AND NO PART OF IT IS EVER STAGED IN THE VEDDA FOREST** — the second of those is the
contract's staging rule and it is absolute, because the forest is the revered register's ground.
encounter's structure is the protection rather than a caveat on it: the edura, the drummers, the
attendants, the afflicted person and the village are allies and protected non-targets, and "the
edura healers, the monks, the physicians, and the villagers are allies and protected non-targets"
[CH_06.md:221; :203]. The fight is the community's own rite doing the community's own work. A lane
that read "exorcism" and staged a village as a threat would have inverted the source.
named evil, exorcised BECAUSE they are harmful, and they are rendered exactly as the tradition
condemns them — "never softened never hollywood demon horrored and never flattened into generic
movie demons" [@ CR_0173 :: cultural_care_register]. The v2.4 "de-cultured negative-consciousness
cloud" is the failure the golden re-enrichment exists to correct [CH_06.md:298], and this sheet is
downstream of that correction rather than a re-run of it.
contract above rather than in a paragraph here, which is the point of the contract: the malevolent
Tovil yakku are villain material and the revered Vedda Nae Yaku are NOT, and "any rendering that
blurs them defames the ancestral dead of a living indigenous community and breaks the beat at once"
[@ CR_0173 :: cultural_care_register; sri_lanka.md:651-655].
"Devil-worship" labels are HIS, they are renamed at every use, and "the beings his 'Devils' flattens
are carried under their own names and in their own categories" [sri_lanka.md:324-333]. His account
is marked as an outsider's account at every use in § 3, and the page's standing rule holds: where a
term is unattested in the tradition's own record, the thing is carried descriptively and no local
word is minted to fill a gap.
EXCEPTION. No accused person and no afflicted person is ever offered as a target. THE SICK
VILLAGER AT THE CENTRE OF THE RITE IS AN OBJECTIVE TO PROTECT AND NEVER A TARGET**, no NPC is ever
hinted to be one of these beings, no possession of a named community member is staged, no house is
pointed at, and no accusation is ever an objective. The monstrous register stays on the yaka and is
never a physiognomy laid on real people [@ CR_0173 :: cultural_care_register].
rite, the protagonist stands BESIDE them, and the healer is never a target, never a combat surface
and never confused with the thing being expelled [CH_06.md:203, :221; sri_lanka.md:1095-1097 — the
page's own rule that no office is ever fused with the malevolent register, "most particularly not the
edura, the dugganawa, or the physician"].
objects are living practice carried at reference register [CH_06.md:244], no liturgy is transcribed,
no invocation is reproduced, the player never performs the rite, and § 5.1's declaration binds every
downstream lane: the game's renditions are the game's own.
a photographic-wildlife template, and — because this body is HUMANOID — it must never route through a
photographic-HUMAN template either, with negative prompts as the control: a human-shaped being of a
living tradition's condemned register carrying a real person's likeness is the exact defect the
accusation-record law exists to stop, arriving through the asset pipeline instead of through the
design. mesh_pipeline_type reads image_to_3d, the concept-plate-then-mesh route, compatible
provided the plate is attended. The style cell matches CH_06.md:240's exclusive list, so there is no
style mismatch to board on this row.
moving, because canon had already done the move that this class usually needs: the malevolence seats
in the yakku themselves, which is what the healing rite exists to expel, so the enemy is the
spirit-evil and the harm it does and there is no person anywhere in the aim.
1. **IS THE ATTESTATION CEILING BEING USED AS COVER FOR A THIN DESIGN? EXAMINED AND ANSWERED NO,
WITH THE TEST STATED SO A CRITIC CAN RE-RUN IT.** The CR_0179 lesson binds: a refusal that
happens in a late block instead of an early one is still a refusal, and it is the harder kind to
see because it wears a canon citation. THE TEST: does the ceiling remove anything the fight needs?
It does not. The register gets a full body, a derived skeleton, two pieces of hardware, two
bounded ROM expansions, three arrival states, five tell shapes, a two-part economy and a
night-long fight in the dark. What the ceiling removes is eighteen invented faces and a fabricated
etiology, neither of which is content — they are claims about somebody else's religion. The
ceiling costs the design nothing and buys the row its honesty.
2. **IS THE REGISTER BOLD ENOUGH FOR R-17, OR HAS THE PROTECTED SITE SOFTENED IT? THE BOLD DIRECTION
WEIGHED AND TAKEN.** It is softened nowhere. It is a disease-demon that fastens on a sick person
in the dark, that reaches past a line the player cannot leave, that takes the afflicted person's
breathing rhythm and answers in their voice, that gets more ambiguous rather than more violent,
and that ACTUALLY REACHES THE AFFLICTED PERSON if the player is slow [BE_0006_S1:232-240]. The
landed sheet ran this pass and spent its boldness on the fastening; this sheet adopts that pass
and adds the two carried ROM expansions' mechanism, which makes the wrongness structural rather
than atmospheric.
3. **SHOULD THE THREE ARRIVAL STATES HAVE BEEN PULLED BACK — the blood register in particular — AS
TOO STRONG FOR A CHAPTER WITH A TEN-YEAR-OLD PROTAGONIST? REFUSED.** This is a rated-M action RPG,
the protagonist's age is an internal designer-only fact that is never surfaced [CH_06.md:13], and
"Riri Yaka the blood demon" is CANON'S OWN WORD for the register [CH_06.md:225] rather than this
lane's escalation of it. Pulling it back would be care-tier inflation applied to the one thing the
tradition itself is unambiguous about, and it would soften a condemned being on behalf of nobody.
4. A PASS RUN TOWARD MORE CARE, WHICH FOUND SOMETHING AND TOOK IT. The bold instinct available
here is the possession road — staging one of these beings ON a named villager, which is the
register's most dramatic shape and the one every horror film reaches for. REFUSED, and the cost is
exact: it puts an afflicted or accused member of a living community in the target position, which
the row forbids in terms and which the Flores and Ch-5 precedents both settled. It is also worse
design — a fight with a person at the end of it ends in an accusation; a fight at a ward line ends
with a community's own healer finishing their work. Care answer and design answer coincide, which
is usually the sign the reframe was the right tool.
states of § 4.1 and their material reads; the tusk and horn weight paths; the mechanism behind the
two carried ROM expansions (the person's plan without the person's ligamentous checks) and the hard
caps placed on them; **the PLANE ASSIGNMENT on those expansions — the atlanto-occipital departure
read as SAGITTAL and the turn's axial excess routed to the summed cervical chain at C1-C2 — which is
this sheet's own judgment on the anatomy and not a carry, because neither BE_0006_S1 nor
HUMANOID.json names a plane at that joint (§ 5);** the walk-never-run reading of the landed
mass-and-stance line; and the body
origins in § 6's table. **CARRIED FROM THE SIBLING SHEETS AS THEIR DECLARED INVENTION, NOW
DIRECTOR-RULED, AND ADOPTED RATHER THAN ASSERTED HERE:** the shared contract's line that the revered
register has no body of its own is a DESIGN decision and not a fact about the tradition, and it is
CR_0175's and CR_0176's own first-named invention on their own faces — "the no-figure design
decision itself, which is stated first because it is the largest"
[CR_0175:761-762; CR_0176:771-772]. It is now director-ruled (WQ_0031 L15: the honored pole
stays bodiless, the CR_0163 precedent distinguished on evidence-shape, and the presence register
standing as that pole's rendered body). This sheet adopts it, so the contract's third column is read
here as a ruled design decision inherited from the sibling rows rather than as a claim this sheet
makes about a living community's ancestral dead. CARRIED FROM THE LANDED ENCOUNTER SHEET AND NOT EXTENDED: the three
elevation axes, the one-line read, the fastening mechanism, the tusk/horn/jaw/neck additions
themselves, the five tell shapes and their answers, the diagnostic, the escalation channels, the
opener tree, the part economy and its fractions, the relocation, and the win and loss. CITED: the
register's existence, its three canon-named members and their three descriptors, its condemned
status, the rite that expels it, the eyewitness staging and its man-shaped-with-animal-hardware
vocabulary, the belief that these beings are the spirits of persons who died before, the commentarial
ward procedure, the style ruling, the SQ1 payload and the link chain. DERIVED: every joint,
range, segment count, gait formalism and rig-conformance floor from HUMANOID.json, carried as
passive-envelope bounds and expanded in exactly the two places the landed sheet already declared.
and design blocks only. The constraint inherits forward to every lane that later writes a display
name, dex entry, bark or item text from this material: the chapter's reveal_state is HELD
[CH_06.md:269], no House-of-Velheim name, family or pattern appears on any surface — this lane has no
antagonist operative at all, the chapter's only network rows being NW_0004 and NW_0005, both
awareness_tier UNAWARE and attached to the counterfeit's monastic foothold rather than to this rite
[CH_06.md:112, :258] — the Grand Sage is dark, and the Mara-vijaya illusion-principle is never named
on any player surface and is not this register's in any case [CH_06.md:234, :300].
Written affirmatively. Every line names what IS in frame, because the art graph zeroes its negative
conditioning and a line naming what to leave out feeds the model the nouns it meant to exclude. **THE
LANDED SHEET'S FIVE PLATES STAND AND ARE NOT RESTATED** [BE_0006_S1:255-268]; the five below are the
BODY and REGISTER-STATE plates this sheet's § 2, § 4.1 and § 5 dispatch, and they exist to make the
skeletal and state decisions unmissable to the concept lane.

the reaching side — the pose that makes the derived skeleton legible as a skeleton.

stages a member of the community as a threat, and the community is behind the player in every frame
it appears in; and no plate holds this register and either revered register in one frame, per the
shared contract's never-one-asset rule.
Registry implications this sheet found and did not write. Each names its target row and column.
Kapferer, Obeyesekere and Sarachchandra are cited by the spine [CH_06.md:262] and absent from the
processed corpus [sri_lanka.md:1345-1349, :1357-1365], so the named yakku, the diagnostic system,
the mask iconography and the rite's liturgy are UNAVAILABLE. § 4.1's three arrival states and the
landed affliction-to-affliction diagnostic are both built from attested staging and are SUPERSEDED IN
PLACE the day it lands. The region page is the first consumer and the landed encounter sheet the
second.
PRE-EMPTED.** The row rules one cohort row today and names the split as the post-acquisition move
[@ CR_0173 :: notes]. When it happens it is a REGISTRY-LANE minting with its own gate and baseline,
and this sheet's § 4.1 is the thing it supersedes.
@ CR_0173 :: rng_drop_anchor IS A DECLARED BLANK AND THE ROW IT DEFERS TO EXISTS AND IS CORRECT — A NEGATIVE FINDING, REPORTED BECAUSE THE SIBLING CH_07 ROWS FAILED THIS EXACT CHECK.** The notes
say the payload rides BE_0006_S1 as DROP_CH06_TOVIL_DEMONOLOGY_LORE, and a scan of
T0_RNG_Drop_Table RESOLVES that id: drop_class lore_fragment_drop, linked_entity_id BE_0006_S1,
linked_entity_type boss_encounter, chapter gate CH_06 both ends. So the blank cell, the prose and
the drop row all agree, which is the CR_0151 precedent working as designed. **NOTHING IS BOARDED
HERE.** It is recorded because CR_0179 boards a dangling rng_drop_anchor on its own row and a
later lane sweeping the class should know this row is clean rather than unchecked.
@ CR_0173 HAS NO ARCHETYPE ASSIGNMENT AND THE ANATOMY TABLES CORRECTLY REFUSE TO GUESS ONE. creature_archetype_map.json places it in NEEDS_CANON_BODY_PLAN and every bucket scopes those rows
out [HUMANOID.json § scope]; mesh_tags.morphology reads "folklore", a provenance word standing
where a body plan belongs. THIS SHEET DERIVES HUMANOID on the landed encounter sheet's own ruling
and writes nothing. The rig-conformance gate has nothing to check against until the assignment lands,
and when it does this design meets every conformance field as written (§ 2), so it should arrive
clean.
DIRECTOR_RULING_L13 RULING_7 FORM, FOR BE_0006_S1'S NEXT TOUCH — TWOITEMS, NEITHER ACTED ON HERE.** (a) Its § 2 predates the amended doctrine § 2.1 and declares a
skeleton without a joint roster, a ROM without numbers and a chain without names
[BE_0006_S1:42-47]; it is superseded in place by § 2 above rather than overwritten. (b) It declares
two ROM EXPANSIONS past the derived human envelope [:137-145] on a doctrine that now holds an
over-declared range licenses injuries; § 5 supplies a mechanism and hard caps rather than re-cutting
them. Both are observations for that sheet's owning pass.
@ CR_0173 :: mesh_tags.material CARRIES THE CHAPTER PALETTE VERBATIM — "brick, granite,tank-water, moonstone, palm and cloud-forest" — which is CH_06.md:240's architecture-and-terrain
palette pasted onto a being canon places at a village ward at night. A generator reading the cell is
being fed the stupa and the tank. The identical string sits on CR_0172, CR_0175 and CR_0176, so this
is a chapter-wide paste rather than a row error, and it is the same class CR_0177 and CR_0179
board for CH_07. REGISTRY LANE.
@ CR_0173 :: mesh_tags.era IS THE CHAPTER'S ERA STRING PASTED ONTO A BEING WITH NO ERA —"Composite — Ancient Sinhalese kingdom periods (Anuradhapura through Polonnaruwa) with Vedda
continuous tradition", identical on CR_0172, CR_0175 and CR_0176. Same chapter-paste class as the
material cell above. **AND THE ENCODING DEFECT THE CH_07 SHEETS BOARD IS NOT PRESENT HERE, WHICH IS
RECORDED AS A NEGATIVE RESULT SO A LATER LANE DOES NOT RAISE IT.** CR_0177 and CR_0179 both board
a U+FFFD replacement character in their own era cells, and a console read of this roster renders the
same position as a replacement glyph — but a BYTE scan of the roster file returns **ZERO occurrences
of EF BF BD anywhere in it**, and the character at that position on all four Ch-6 rows is U+2014,
a correct em-dash. The apparent defect is a terminal mis-decode and not a canon state.
DIRECTOR_RULING_L14 RULING_2 deleted exactly this class of fabricated debt once already; this lane
ran the byte check before writing rather than after, and reports the negative.
is its second instance rather than a new finding: village_edura_ward is protected true and hosts
a real fight under HL_0004 [CH_06.md:98-99]. The landed sheet raised it [BE_0006_S1:289-292]; it is
cited here rather than re-raised, and the CH_07 asura on a protected ascent is the class's other
member.
T0_Boss_Attack_Rail CARRIES 0 ROWS. Five tell shapes across four counter classes, now with bodyorigins attached, have no data home. Cited from the landed sheet rather than re-raised.
trophic_role (the link chain's own predator motif would support the ratified token, but the page
refuses the demonology's internal structure, so asserting a predation MECHANISM would breach the
ceiling — the row states this and boards it for the post-acquisition pass); tier_classification and
scientific_name (an ecology tier does not apply and CRYPTID would breach the cryptid firewall);
trade_8_tameable, temperament_prior, familiar_slot_eligible, spawn_rate, every husbandry cell,
rare_variant and extinction_threat per the folklore precedent. Each is a decision, not a hole.
archetype is a human skeleton carrying rigid boar-tusk or bull-horn hardware bound to the mandible or
the frontal plate, two bounded ROM expansions at joints a living body cannot open that far, an
affliction layer worn as material, and three arrival states written in ground, substance and count. A
photograph of a person contains none of them.
at the alveolar line with a rigid bind and the mass forward of the temporomandibular axis; the horn
sheaths on the frontal and parietal plates with the mass forward of the atlanto-occipital joint; the
affliction layer as material on existing surface with no geometry; the two expansions capped in
named planes with the mechanism stated. The root chain derives from HUMANOID.json with every joint,
range, segment count, gait formalism and conformance floor named, and this design departs from no
conformance field.
claimed. The body is found by the rite's lamps and fire and returns them as a surface returns light;
the A10 instance is a light-free absence. No glowing eyes, no aura, no rim-light without a source, no
floating sigil, no emitter-less particle.
the head turn and the fastening are four distinguishable poses; the hardware breaks the head outline
at range, which is what makes the 0.09 part an outline feature; and the affliction crust at 0.07 sits
on the shoulder and forearm, which are outline rather than interior. The wind-up differs from the
idle by the whole body loading forward over the front foot.
four counter classes, and this sheet added no shape and re-aimed none. The two shapes that share a
body system (the reach and the fastening, both hand-led) are separated by whether the line has been
crossed, which is a state a player reads instantly, and their answers are opposite in kind.
escalation on its own body, a lethal intent it acts on against someone who cannot move, and an entry
that comes to the rite rather than waiting to be visited. It is never staked out and never
defenceless.
attestation ceiling is covering for a thin design and stating the test so a critic can re-run it, one
weighing and taking the bold direction on register, one refusing a reduction on the blood register
with canon's own word behind it, and one running toward more care and taking its finding (the
possession refusal).
SRC_ id or a canon-side citation, everyuncited element carries an invention declaration in § 7, the HL_0002 fantasy licence is quoted as the
ground for the designed body, and both controls are reported: negative (the region page's
positive-controlled zero on kattadiya and tovil, sri_lanka.md:1345-1349) and positive (the same
scan returning Kande Yaka, Bilindi Yaka, kirikoraha, dugganawa, aude and waruge,
sri_lanka.md:340-345). The attestation ceiling is declared rather than papered over, and the
acquisition that discharges it is named.
appears anywhere; this lane has no antagonist operative at all; the Grand Sage is dark; the
Mara-vijaya illusion-principle is never named and is not this register's; all perception in this
design stays at the Neophyte register.
photographic-wildlife failure mode named and refused; the photographic-HUMAN failure mode named and
refused, which matters more here than on most rows because the archetype is humanoid and the subject
is a living tradition's condemned register; image_to_3d verified as the concept-plate-then-mesh
route; and the style cell verified against CH_06.md:240's exclusive list with no mismatch to board.
