chapter's tier onto a plains bovid is the care-tier inflation the doctrine names a defect.

PR_DEDUP_CITATION_BULLET_IS_NOT_COVERAGE — the row is NAMED in a spine citation bullet and that
naming is not a landed sheet, which is why this one exists

architecture rests on the //gauwasi sickness-shadow being the only mythologically-stylized presence
in it [CH_10.md:223].

THIS IS THE ONE ROW IN THE SET CANON NAMES TWICE, AND BOTH NAMINGS ARE THIN. The spine names it once,
as background: "general Rift-Valley wildlife (fish eagle, wildebeest, buffalo cohort) stays background
per the region's fauna roster" [CH_10.md:98]. The region page names it once, as a list entry
[rift_valley.md:232-237]. Everything else about this animal is design, and § 4 says so in terms
rather than dressing two list entries as an ecology.
ungulate_unguligrade, BOVIDbranch
THAN BY SCOPE. build/3d/schema/anatomy_reference/QUADRUPED.json § sub_plans.ungulate_unguligrade
lists its census rows as "CR_0065 Blue wildebeest (see census_defects), generic bovid/equid"
[ANATOMY_REFERENCE.md:120] — this row is the sub-plan's own named exemplar, which makes it the
strongest bucket coverage anywhere in the CH_10 plains set. The doctrine's § 2.1 inline licence
EXPIRED 2026-08-12 and a covered row derives from the bucket and cites the path.

[§ gait]. The walk is LATERAL-sequence, LH-LF-RH-RF, at duty factor 0.55 to 0.8; the trot runs
diagonal couplets, and the trot is this animal's real travelling gear — it covers ground at a rocking
trot for hours and gallops only under threat.

The table publishes no cervical ROM and no cervical/thoracic/lumbar split of the 25 presacral
vertebrae, so the FALLING TOPLINE this entire design rests on is inline: the anterior thoracic neural
spines are built tall into a heavy withers and the vertebral column descends continuously from there
to a low croup, which is the physical fact under the downhill silhouette and the reason the animal
reads as leaning forward while standing still. The table covers bone and joint only, so the horn
(bone core in a keratin sheath, carried by BOTH sexes, sweeping out and down and then up and inward,
never shed), the long dark mane standing and hanging off that high withers, the THROAT BEARD, the
vertical brindle bars over the neck and shoulder, the broad squared muzzle, the full-length switch of
the tail, and the interdigital and preorbital glands that § 6 spends as a tracking channel are all
inline. The table's standing caveat carries: goniometry measures the PASSIVE envelope and what a live
animal reaches under its own power is smaller by an amount the sources do not separate
[QUADRUPED.json § unmeasured].
height_m and length_axis are EMPTY on this row,§ 9): a mid-sized bovid built heavy in front and light behind, with the mass over the shoulders under
the withers, which is why the trot rocks and why the animal turns like a thing pivoting on its front
end. It is a cattle-massed front on antelope hindquarters, and every read below comes from that
mismatch.
under a broad squared head carried LOW and forward, with a beard hanging under the throat and a long
tail sweeping nearly to the hocks.
ITS NEIGHBOURS. folklore_behavior_substrate, folklore_attribution_source, cultural_care_register
AND cultural_significance are ALL EMPTY — the zebra beside it at least carries two words. There is
no tradition to cite because the row asserts none, and inventing a Rift wildebeest folklore in a
chapter whose entire care problem is that the corpus attests almost nothing would be the citation
test's most tempting failure.
(fish eagle, wildebeest, buffalo cohort) stays background per the region's fauna roster"
[CH_10.md:98]. The region page: "the zebra (CR_0064), and the blue wildebeest (CR_0065)", closing a
twelve-row consumed list [rift_valley.md:232-237]. T3_Creatures_Tameable:455 files it under
"Mid-level and TAME" as "Wildebeest (*Connochaetes taurinus*)". Three list entries and one adjective:
BACKGROUND.
transformation and it is PLAYABLE rather than described — the basins fill, the shorelines climb, and
the ground between the lakes goes green, with Lake Megachad at roughly 350,000 square kilometres
against roughly 1,500 today [rift_valley.md:183-190]. Thread 4 Flood Memory is ANCHORED at this
chapter as the thread's first specific-event-dating catastrophe anchor [CH_10.md:38], and the beat
that carries it is CH10_B01, whose objective names the Rift-lakes basins that "once rose with the
rains and shrank again" [CH_10.md:105, :291]. § 4's season ladder is that transformation given a body.
serengeti_plain_margin is an approach plain and a three-kilometre transit band into the gorge head, wilderness, functions traversal and combat, ambient_threat moderate,
protected false, at 10 m/vertex; the plain-margin vegetation is thorn scrub and open grass with
density low and the palette dust-gold shifting to grey-green with altitude
[rift_valley.md:76, :225-228].
lake_eyasi_shore, juhoansi_camp and san_rock_art_panels are protected true [rift_valley.md:71-73], and the Eyasi beat is ruled to
contain NO TRANSACTION at all [rift_valley.md:820-824].
region page records that this region has no zoological source at all and that the readable-behaviour
layer is an acquisition target rather than an invention [rift_valley.md:245-252]. Every ethological
line in § 4 and § 6 is therefore marked AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY: general zoological knowledge carried by
this sheet as DESIGN, never presented as a claim of any source this region holds.
SRC_00186 is the region's one genuinely Rift-scoped record,a compiled popular biography of a twentieth-century archaeologist, and it carries nothing about any
animal [rift_valley.md:944-951]. A search that matches it and returns nothing for Rift ecology is
reporting an absence rather than failing. This sheet makes no SRC_-bearing claim, because it makes
no claim about what any tradition holds.
ladder's AHP read, the six tells, the scent-trail tracking channel, the calving-flush bond-lite route
with its follow-the-first-thing rule, and the territorial bull's traversal cost.
ONE-LINE SILHOUETTE READ: a downhill body with a maned shoulder and a beard, standing at the front of a
line of identical bodies that runs off the edge of the frame.
REGISTER: REAL_FAUNA (TRUE_TO_LIFE), doctrine § 3D. Elevation is refused because every folklore column
is empty, cultural_significance is empty outright, and the chapter rules realistic-ethnographic for
the fauna with mythologically-stylized reserved for the //gauwasi sickness-shadow alone [CH_10.md:223].
A supernatural wildebeest standing on the plain the deep-time descent crosses would be the mirror-image
of the Komodo defect § 3D exists to stop. Budget: A9 and A5 only, exactly as the register declares.
THE REPLICA TEST DISCHARGES BY CONTRACT PLUS LADDER, per § 3D, and both are stated below.
THE LEGIBILITY CONTRACT — stated byte-identically on all three CH_10 plains-herd sheets. FOUR
CONFUSABLE PLAINS BODIES SHARE THIS CHAPTER — the eland (CR_0066), the blue wildebeest (CR_0065), the
zebra (CR_0064) and the African buffalo (CR_0067, whose body is FIXED at
BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:78-102 and is discriminated against here by citation, never
re-designed) — so silhouette-first discrimination is this set's first design obligation. THE FINDERS:
the ELAND is found by ITS LEVEL TOPLINE OVER A SWINGING KEEL — the only body in the set whose back is
a flat horizontal line and whose underline is broken by a heavy pendulous dewlap that swings out of
phase with the walk; the BLUE WILDEBEEST is found by THE FALLING BACK — a topline that drops
continuously from a high maned withers to a low croup, so the animal reads DOWNHILL while standing
still — a fall the African buffalo's topline shares, which is why the fourth ambiguity case below
exists; the ZEBRA is found by THE ERECT MANE — a short hard brush
standing up off the topline, which is the one finder in the set that survives dust, because the stripe
field DISSOLVES a herd at distance rather than resolving it; the AFRICAN BUFFALO is found by THE HEAD
CARRIED BELOW THE SHOULDER LINE under a back highest at the withers, with a fused boss squared across
the forehead [BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:100-102]. THE AMBIGUITY CASE, named rather than
assumed away: at black fill and combat-camera distance a mature eland bull and a mature buffalo bull
are both ox-massed, both horned and both standing broadside, and they resolve to the same read. THE
RESOLVER is TOPLINE-AND-DAYLIGHT — the buffalo's line rises to the withers and his head hangs below
it, the eland's line is level and his head is carried at or above it over a longer leg with daylight
under the belly. THE DEWLAP CONFIRMS; IT NEVER FINDS, because a mature buffalo carries loose throat
skin too. THE SECOND AMBIGUITY CASE is the young grain: an eland calf and a wildebeest calf are both
tan, both budding-horned and both plains-sized, and the SAME RESOLVER settles it on one line — level
back against falling back, checkable in black fill with no colour at all. THE BEARD CONFIRMS; IT NEVER
FINDS. THE THIRD AMBIGUITY CASE is the mixed herd, which is the set's commonest frame: zebra and
wildebeest stand in the same dust at the same shoulder height. THE RESOLVER is the mane — erect brush
against long hanging fringe — with the falling back confirming whenever the topline is in frame.
COLOUR CONFIRMS; IT NEVER FINDS, because dust greys every body in this chapter's hard light. THE
FOURTH AMBIGUITY CASE is the one this contract's own wording creates, and it is stated rather than
smoothed away: the buffalo's back is ALSO highest at the withers and therefore also falls, so a
falling topline does not on its own separate him from the wildebeest. THE RESOLVER IS MASS AND CROWN,
checked in that order — the buffalo is an ox carrying roughly twice the wildebeest's mass and wears a
FUSED HORN BOSS squared right across the forehead, while the wildebeest is a mid-mass body whose horns
leave a BARE CROWN between them and whose throat carries a beard. HEAD HEIGHT CONFIRMS; IT NEVER FINDS
— the wildebeest carries its head about at the shoulder line and the buffalo carries his BELOW it, and
at range that difference is a judgement while the boss is a shape. THE TWO
NON-CONFUSABLE LARGE BODIES ARE DISCRIMINATED BY CLASS FACT AND NEED NO TEST: the GIRAFFE (CR_0063,
*Giraffa camelopardalis*) carries a neck that alone exceeds the whole standing height of every body in
this set, and the AFRICAN BUSH ELEPHANT (CR_0062, *Loxodonta africana*, trophic_role keystone) is
the only body in the chapter with a ground-reaching fifth appendage off the head and columnar
graviportal legs [T0_Creature_Roster @ CR_0063, @ CR_0062]. Neither is ever a resolver for the four
above, and neither needs one.
PRIMARY — A9 THE MARK, spent as SILHOUETTE LAW. Three features, ranked, and only the first FINDS:
croup, so the animal reads DOWNHILL standing on flat ground. MECHANISM: tall anterior thoracic neural
spines anchoring the nuchal ligament that carries a heavy head on a heavy front end, over
hindquarters that carry nothing — real architecture, visible from outside, with a stated reason. No
other body in the chapter's plains set has a topline that falls, and the read survives black fill,
dust and distance.
the underline from chin to brisket. At range it reads as a second small mass under the head — but a
mature buffalo carries loose throat skin and an eland carries a dewlap, so the beard is checked
against the falling back and never called on its own.
which is a shape no other horn in the chapter makes — the eland's spiral is straight-shafted and the
buffalo's boss sweeps down and out and back up in one plane. It is the surface the head-low stand
presents, so it is what the eye tracks in the one shape that matters.
SUPPORTING — A5 AGE AND STATE, spent as THE SEASON LADDER AND THE CALVING FLUSH. These are the states a
photograph of the species-typical animal does not contain, and the first of them is the reason this row
is worth a sheet at all.
a LINE: nose-to-tail, strung across the plain, always moving, dust behind it, because the grass and
the water are somewhere else. In the AFRICAN HUMID PERIOD window the herd is SCATTERED AND STILL —
the same bodies at the same scale, spread across green ground in every direction, standing, grazing,
not going anywhere, because there is nowhere better to be. THE PLAYER LEARNS THE CLIMATE CHANGED FROM
THE SHAPE OF A HERD AND NOT FROM A LINE OF DIALOGUE. Canon supplies the transformation and calls it
playable — the basins fill, the shorelines climb, the ground goes green [rift_valley.md:183-190] —
and Thread 4 is anchored here [CH_10.md:38]; this is that anchor given something a player can see
from a ridge. MECHANISM: forage distribution, which is the only thing that has ever decided the shape
of a herd.
shoulder with the mane matted flat; wet-window animals carry a slate coat with the brindle bars
actually visible, mud to the hock, and calves at heel. One asset, two states, and the state says the
season without a HUD.
plain goes from no calves to hundreds of calves in days — and a wildebeest calf STANDS AND RUNS
WITHIN MINUTES OF BIRTH, faster to its feet than any other body in this chapter. Its coat is a plain
tan with no bars and no beard, which is exactly why the legibility contract above names the young
grain as its second ambiguity case.
head low, horns presented, not moving — greyer, more scarred at the shoulder, and the only wildebeest
in the chapter that is ever still while the others are not.
EMISSION: NONE. The body reads by scattering off a dust-matt coat, by the wetting-darkening of the
brindle bars after rain, by the pale muzzle catching the plain's own hard light, and by occlusion
against dust. The glow test passes deliberately and vacuously.
spines as a rigid section of the spine chain — inside the table's 5-to-24-bone spine allowance — with
the deformation budget spent on the neck and shoulder around it, because a withers that bends turns
the animal's one finder into a texture. The mane is a card-and-strand assembly over it with a small
secondary solve.
short, it damps fast, and it is deliberately given LESS swing than the eland's dewlap, because the two
underline breaks must not read as the same object in motion.
age-driven boss-thickening and tip-blunting parameter. It has no ROM: the double bend is fixed bone,
which is why § 6's head-low stand is a presented surface rather than an aimed weapon.
wet-visible and dry-invisible state layer rather than a constant texture — which is what makes the
condition ladder free.
this body that moves constantly while the animal is still.
THIS CREATURE IS NOT FOUGHT AT CH 10, AND THE SHEET SAYS SO AFFIRMATIVELY. combat_permission is EMPTY
where CR_0066's is PERMITTED, rng_drop_anchor is EMPTY, collect_verb is EMPTY, there is no boss row
— the chapter's only strike-primary encounter is BE_0010_S2 and its bodies are the buffalo and the
hyena clan [CH_10.md:97, :115] — and the L11 ruled state carries combat_facing FALSE. Canon calls this
animal BACKGROUND in terms [CH_10.md:98]. What this sheet does with that word is refuse to let it mean
scenery.
THE PART ECONOMY'S HOME IS NONE, DECLARED AFFIRMATIVELY. There is no plate, no boss, no crust and no
breakable region on this body. The currency of every encounter with this animal is THE LINE — the
herd's own file across the plain, which the player routes around, waits out, or crosses.
THE JOB. THE HERD IS THE WEATHER, AND IT IS ALSO A WALL. Two things follow from that and they are the
whole design. FIRST, the herd is the chapter's population instrument: its shape says the season, its
direction says where the water is, and its absence from a plain that should hold it says something has
moved it. SECOND, a line of large bodies moving nose-to-tail across a transit band is a real traversal
problem on the one zone canon types for traversal AND combat [rift_valley.md:76] — crossing a moving
herd puts the player inside a wall of animals that will not stop for them, and the answer is timing
rather than force.

NO SHAPE CARRIES TWO ANSWERS. The three herd shapes are separated by whether the group has a TRACK, a
BEARING, or neither; the two individual shapes are separated by whether the animal is alone. THE
CROSS-CREATURE LESSON IS NAMED, AND IT IS A CONTRAST RATHER THAN AN AGREEMENT. FIRST-LANDED GOVERNS:
BE_0010_S2 is the landed sheet and its mapping stands unaltered — its opener THE STAND is "the whole
body planted square and broadside across the descent" answered by "none is needed; it is free, and it
is the encounter asking a question", its THE HEAD LOWER drops "below the shoulder line, the feet stay
planted, there is no run-up" and is answered by a side-evade, its THE HELMET comes "forward a body
length with the boss leading" and is BRACED, and its ruled lesson reads "head-down-and-planted means
meet it, head-up-and-travelling means take the ground away"
[BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:288-290, :298-300]. THIS ANIMAL'S STAND IS A DIFFERENT SHAPE
AND CARRIES ITS OWN ANSWER, and the doctrine's own clause covers exactly this — a shape reused across
creatures with a different answer is the intended cross-creature lesson and the sheet names which
lesson it is teaching. FOUR VISIBLE FACTS SEPARATE THE TWO SILHOUETTES, and they are the same four the
legibility contract's fourth ambiguity case already turns on: MASS (the buffalo is an ox at roughly
twice this body's mass), CROWN (a fused boss squared across the whole forehead against a bare crown
between two horns), THE BEARD (this body has one and the buffalo does not), and HEAD HEIGHT (his hangs
BELOW the shoulder line and this one sits about AT it) — with a fifth the arena supplies for free, the
HERD STREAMING AROUND this animal on open plain against one bull alone in a ravine. THE LESSON BEING
TAUGHT: a delivered surface is met, and a closed line is walked around, and the player tells them apart
by whether the head that is down belongs to a crowned ox in a narrows or to a bearded herd bull on a
plain. Teaching the harmless instance first is still the point of having both.
ESCALATION, WHICH IS A HERD LADDER RATHER THAN A PHASE. POSTURE — grazing scattered, to filed, to
turned. BREATH — the dust and the flank pump on a herd that has already run once, which tells the
player this group will break sooner. VOCALIZATION — the low grunting that runs constantly through a
moving herd, and its ESCALATION IS THAT IT STOPS: a silent wildebeest herd is a herd that has committed
to a bearing. NEW OPENER — the stampede front, which never appears until the buck has already spread.
THE OPENER AND ITS VARIANTS: the root is THE HEAD-SWING GRAZE. The file is the same walk with a track
added; the buck is the same body with the alarm added; the stampede is the file with the track replaced
by a bearing. A player who learned the root reads all four.
THE TRACKING CHANNEL, AND IT IS THIS ANIMAL'S OWN. A herd this size leaves a road: cropped grass in a
band, split hoof prints in thousands, and a scent trail from interdigital glands laid down by every
animal that walked it. The player can read a herd's track hours old and know its direction and its age
from the edge of the crop — which is a real tracking loop on the one body in the chapter numerous
enough to leave one, and it feeds the eland hunt in CR_0066_eland.md § 6 directly.
THE BOND-LITE ROUTE, AND ITS RULING. trade_8_tameable reads TAME, and TAME means Chao Garden passive
companion tier — bond-lite bonding, a Beastiary entry fillable through bond-lite interaction, no combat
slot, no Hermetic bond mastery, no legendary evolution [T3_Creatures_Tameable § 1.2 L98, § 1.3 L116,
§ 1.4 L122-L136]. THIS SHEET RULES THAT A WILDEBEEST CANNOT BE BONDED AS AN ADULT AND THE ROUTE IS THE
CALVING FLUSH, and the ruling is design rather than restriction: an adult of this species is not an
individual in any sense the game can grip — it is a unit of a herd, and its whole behavioural repertoire
is other animals. What CAN be bonded is a calf, in the days when a calf's entire program is FOLLOW THE
FIRST LARGE MOVING THING, and the honest weight of that is that the player has taken a calf out of a
herd it would otherwise have belonged to.
will not be touched; at the middle band it stands INSIDE the player's own spacing rather than at the
edge of it, which for a herd animal is the whole trust statement; at the last band it files behind
them on the move, which is the only thing this species has ever done for anyone.
is the familiar and bond-lite one and appeal is a SHIP requirement there rather than a nicety: the
appeal of this animal is not prettiness and the sheet does not reach for any, because a wildebeest
that reads cute is the wrong animal. It is CARRIAGE — a heavy-fronted, comic-serious body with a
beard and an old man's downhill walk, whose charm at sixty pixels is that it plainly takes itself
seriously — and it is the bond ladder above, where the Chao register's own comparator is a creature
that visibly CHANGES as the relationship deepens: this one changes by moving from the edge of the
player's spacing to the inside of it, which is a wildebeest doing the only affectionate thing a
wildebeest has.
and the design says so rather than pretending the taking was free.
RELOCATION AND TURF, AN INFERENCE AND LABELLED AS ONE. Canon publishes a compressed plain-margin transit
band and a five-segment lake corridor [rift_valley.md:74, :76, :166-171]. Reading that geography as a
herd that MOVES THROUGH rather than lives on it — present on a plain one visit and gone the next, with
its road still readable — is this sheet's inference from the corridor's shape, not a canon statement
about the species.
this sheet manufactures none; ORDINARY_FAUNA-class rows carry no collective claim at all [doctrine
part five]. The chapter's protected peoples — the Hadza, the Sandawe, the Maasai, the /Xam, the //Gwi
and the Ju|'hoansi — are nowhere near this sheet, and combat never routes through them [CH_10.md:59,
:204; rift_valley.md:367-372].
anywhere in this sheet, because the corpus attests none [rift_valley.md:343-344], and no /Xam word
is transcribed from the OCR-damaged record [rift_valley.md:337-342]. The animal is carried
descriptively and no vernacular name is minted for it.
shepherd and Lemayian a moran, staged as an age-set contrast inside a living pastoral present, and
the page authors no weapon, ceremony, initiation or ordeal for either and never reduces the moran to
a warrior costume [rift_valley.md:521-525]. The relationship rule the page sets is "improve by

(boarded, § 9). And it is NOT in the Southern-San continuity stratum, whose zones are juhoansi_camp
and san_rock_art_panels and whose real ground is nine thousand kilometres south
[rift_valley.md:88-95]. THE ORDER RULE BINDS AND THIS SHEET OBEYS IT: the living-present stratum
opens FIRST and is never entered THROUGH the deep-time one, because that transition is the
living-fossil equation built as a level [rift_valley.md:1134-1137]. The season ladder is therefore
a fluctuation-window read of the SAME plain, never a corridor between a hominin stratum and a living
camp.
serengeti_plain_margin, the olduvai_gorge approach and the rift_lakes_system shores, all protected false
[rift_valley.md:70, :74, :76]. The bond-lite interaction happens at a trade compound's Chao-tier
garden [T3_Creatures_Tameable § 1.4 L128], never at lake_eyasi_shore, which is protected true
and whose beat is ruled to contain no transaction at all [rift_valley.md:71, :820-824].
ontology_class is EMPTY and stays EMPTY, combat_permission is EMPTY, gradeTAME. Not fought at Ch 10, never a trophy, and the bond is a compound-tier passive companion
occupying no combat slot. Derivation of the ontology cell is DERIVED_NOT_LANDED behind FORK 7 by the
L6 ruling and this sheet writes nothing.
wildlife-reference prompt will produce one animal at rest in good light, and the two things this row
is FOR — the herd's two shapes and the falling topline as a black-fill finder — are both compositional
claims a single-animal reference prompt cannot carry.
(1) BOLD: SHOULD THIS ANIMAL BE HUNTED? A lane could reasonably reach for it — it is the archetypal
plains game animal, it stands beside a QUARRY row, and hunting it is normal play in the genre.
REFUSED ON THE CELLS: combat_permission is EMPTY where CR_0066's is PERMITTED, rng_drop_anchor is
EMPTY where CR_0066's carries DROP_BIGGAME_HIDE_MEAT, collect_verb is EMPTY where CR_0066's reads
DOCUMENT;FIGHT, the grade is TAME rather than QUARRY, and the L11 ruled state carries combat_facing
FALSE. The refusal is scope discipline rather than squeamishness, and it is reversible by measurement:
if a later canon pass lands a permission on this row, the hunt is BUILT and the herd ladder above is
already written as its opposition.
(2) BOLD: DOES "BACKGROUND" [CH_10.md:98] MEAN THIS ROW SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT AS SCENERY? REFUSED,
and this is the sheet's central refusal. Background is a STAGING word — it means the animal is not
the fight — and the doctrine's agency test fails on exactly the reading that turns it into a
prop. The row is in mesh demand, it carries a TAME grade with a bond route, and the L11 ruled state
named it explicitly on PR_DEDUP_CITATION_BULLET_IS_NOT_COVERAGE: being named in a citation bullet is
not being designed. So the animal was given a job the chapter actually needs — the season instrument
and the crossable wall — rather than a stat block.
(3) BOLD: SHOULD THE ELEVATION HAVE GONE FURTHER — a scale band, a vril response, a deep-time body?
REFUSED on canon three ways: style_register rules mythologically-stylized to the //gauwasi alone
[CH_10.md:223], the deep-time fauna register is enumerated at three named taxa
[rift_valley.md:253-258], and § 3D's budget names A1-A4 and A6-A8 as the signal that a sheet is in
the wrong register. The boldness went into the herd's two shapes instead, which is where a real animal
can carry it.
(4) TIMID: NOTHING WAS REDUCED. The stampede is genuinely dangerous, the territorial bull genuinely
closes a line, and the bond-lite route names its cost rather than pretending a calf can be taken for
free.

should be QUADRUPED -- the census matched substring 'bee' inside 'blue wildeBEEst'`
[ANATOMY_REFERENCE.md:971; QUADRUPED.json § census_defects]. The census lives in the game repo and
is read-only from the canon lane, so the table reports it and does not edit it. THE MESH-ROUTING AND
CREATURE-ANIMATION LANES OWN THE EDIT, and until it lands, any pipeline that reads the census rather
than this sheet will hand a bovid an avian rig.
