T0_Creature_Roster @ CR_0060 :: notes, verbatim: "DANGEROUS+OBSERVE register across chapters. SCOPE
NOTE (leg-7b Ch-8 roster lane): this row spans CH_08 through CH_15 and its DECIDING chapters are not
Ch 8. The Ch-8 presence is the Great Zimbabwe serpent-crocodile iconography reached through Mutota,
and T3_Creatures_Tameable L406 types it 'OBSERVE tier for Nile crocodile populations reaching the
coast' - a presence, not a staging. The chapter-independent ontology trio is therefore set here
(ORDINARY_FAUNA / DOCUMENT / OBSERVATION_CHAIN, the CR_0017 and CR_0140 OBSERVE pairing), and
combat_permission, hard_line_anchors and the Sobek care register are DELIBERATELY LEFT to the Ch-10
and Ch-15 lanes that own the deciding chapters - the Sobek tradition is the Ch-15 register
(T3_Creatures_Tameable L225, L565, L588) and a Ch-8 read cannot rule it. Not an oversight; a scope
decision, recorded so the next lane does not re-derive it."
THE CH-10 DECIDING READ, PERFORMED, IN FOUR PARTS.
(a) WHAT CH_10 STAGES FOR THIS BODY: A PRESENCE ON A TRAVERSAL CORRIDOR, AND NO ENCOUNTER. Four
canon surfaces agree and they are quoted rather than summarised. The site row: rift_lakes_system
· functions [discovery, traversal] · ambient_threat low · climactic_affordance none · "traversed
alongside CH10_B01 as background geography rather than a beat's own site; hosts: none; L2"
[CH_10.md:86-87]. The chapter's ambient-threat line: "none beyond BE_0010_S2 — general Rift-Valley
wildlife (fish eagle, wildebeest, buffalo cohort) stays background per the region's fauna roster"
[CH_10.md:98]. The asset anchor: "permitted combat only against the territorial guardian, never the
bonded wolf" [CH_10.md:221]. The encounter enumeration lists FOUR ENCOUNTERS ACROSS THREE SITES and
no water
[CH_10.md:247]. And the environment-grammar row for this exact water carries
env_boss_verb_disabled TRUE with its own note reading "the chapter stages no encounter on the water
at all" [T0_Environment_Grammar_Registry @ EG_0139]. THE CHAPTER DOES NOT ARM THIS ANIMAL, and
§ 6 builds what canon does grant instead of inventing what it does not.
(b) WHAT THE ROW GRANTS ANYWAY, AND IT IS NOT NOTHING. combat_permission PERMITTED plus
trade_8_tameable QUARRY route the tameable doc's full systemic HUNT LOOP: "tracking (spoor, scat,
browse-line and the vril-substrate response the region page grounds), approach into the wind under
the species' own alert behaviour, the kill with the weapon and element the animal's hide and mass
actually answer to, field-dressing into hide, meat, sinew and trophy at the drop table's rarity
grades, and the consequence: the range thins, the predator that fed on it moves, and the community
that shares the range remembers who took what" [T3_Creatures_Tameable:118]. The same line rules the
limit: "A hunt is never required to complete a Beastiary entry — the seven-observation chain remains
the completionist path." collect_verb DOCUMENT and dex_completion_class OBSERVATION_CHAIN are the
row's own statement of which path it is FOR, and the observation tier is a real seven-session loop
[T3_Creatures_Tameable:114]. So: **documented as the completion path, hunted as a permitted world
loop, staged as neither by this chapter's beat graph.**
(c) THE REGISTER CONFLICT, RECORDED RATHER THAN RESOLVED BY A PROPOSAL. T3 types the Ch-10
population "non-familiar cohort at OBSERVE and DANGEROUS register" [T3_Creatures_Tameable:447] while
the roster cell reads QUARRY — three of the five canonical tameable categories claimed across two
canon surfaces for one row. The three are not equally far apart: OBSERVE is "taming not appropriate"
[:99], DANGEROUS is "the entry fills FIRST through combat... and alternatively through evasion
documentation" [:100], QUARRY is "huntable game" [:101] — and :118 routes QUARRY and PERMITTED-DANGEROUS
through the IDENTICAL loop, so the design is unaffected and only the vocabulary disagrees. This sheet
builds the intersection all three admit: **hunt permitted, hunt never required, documentation the
completion path.** The vocabulary is boarded in § 9 for the registry lane.
(d) DEFERRED BY NAME, EXACTLY AS THE ROW'S OWN NOTE DEFERS — ON THE RECORD, NEVER DROPPED. THE
SOBEK REGISTER IS CH 15's AND THIS SHEET DOES NOT TOUCH IT: T3 seats it at Ch 15 four times
[T3_Creatures_Tameable:228, :568, :595, :622], rules that "Nile crocodile entries depict Sobek
tradition against Egyptian primary-source corpus" [:228], and rift_valley.md carries no crocodile
tradition of any kind — Section 5's named beings are the //gauwasi, //Gauwa, the Mantis, n/um and
!kia and no crocodile stands among them [rift_valley.md:468-479]. Importing an Egyptian register into
a Rift chapter would be both an invention and a cross-region annexation of the kind this page names
and refuses. ALSO DEFERRED TO CH 15: the leucistic sacred-variant on the row's own rare_variant
cell, whose folklore substrate T3 seats at Ch 15 [T3_Creatures_Tameable:595]; and the W2 named
familiar bond, of which the Ch-10 population is explicitly the NON-W2 cohort [row's
familiar_cross_ref; T3_Creatures_Tameable:447]. ALREADY READ AND NOT RE-DERIVED: the Ch-08 Great
Zimbabwe iconography, which the Ch-8 lane ruled a presence rather than a staging on the row's own note.
**THE ROW'S OWN CARE CELL RULES THE ONE READING A CARE-FIRST LANE WOULD REACH FOR, AND IT RULES IT
VOID.** T0_Creature_Roster @ CR_0060 :: cultural_care_register, verbatim: "the CVD-§6-as-fauna-protection
reading is VOID: CVD §6 read in full (L266-315) is the CULTURAL DEPICTION STANDARD and it is about
PEOPLE — documented sources, respectful depiction of practitioners, communities protected not
antagonistic, registered cultural property; its §6.3 hard lines are
joik/AIATSIS/Vodou-zombie/FUNAI/no-combat-against-cultural-REPRESENTATIVES/no-stereotyped-descriptors.
A full-document grep for hunt/fauna/animal/OBSERVE returns no prohibition, and the only hits argue
the other way ('encounter a mythological creature as REAL FAUNA'). Where a real in-world prohibition
exists it is expressed as a WORLD rule with a consequence — a precinct where killing carries a
standing and integrity hit and the community reacts — never as an engine-level untargetable flag. The
Egyptian votive species are the decisive control: the ibis, cat and jackal were mass-bred and
mummified in the millions, a husbandry loop rather than an inviolability". This sheet holds that
ruling and does not re-open it.
hard_line_anchors IS EMPTY AND THIS LANE WRITES NO CELL. What the Ch-10 read says it would
carry, recorded for the registry lane: HL_0003 and HL_0123, under which combat routes only to the
//gauwasi, permitted fauna, and the protagonist's own astral trial and NEVER to the /Xam, //Gwi or
Ju|'hoansi peoples [CH_10.md:17, :59, :204]. Boarded in § 9.
DERIVED FROM THE ANATOMY REFERENCE TABLE, NOT DECLARED INLINE. This row is the bucket's first named
exemplar, so the doctrine's inline licence — expired 2026-08-12 — does not reach it: every figure
below carries the bucket's own basis, and a line the bucket does not publish is labelled
INLINE_DECLARED (AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY) [doctrine § 2.1, amended].
crocodilian_semiaquatic. The bucket splitson one question — which plane does the body wave in — and this plan waves LATERAL
[AQUATIC.json § rig_conformance.wave_plane_by_sub_plan].
varanid_lacertilian — "thesame sprawl, same femoral long-axis rotation, and the same high-walk postural range, which
crocodilians exploit further than any lizard (they also GALLOP)" [AQUATIC.json:334, §
crocodilian_semiaquatic.cross_reference]. LONG-AXIS FEMORAL ROTATION IS THE ENGINE of a sprawling
hind limb, roughly 50-60 degrees per step cycle, and a rig without a femoral roll axis produces the
characteristic wrong-looking walk [SPRAWLING_QUADRUPED.json § varanid_lacertilian].
the limbs fold back against the body and do nothing; dorsal osteoderm plates linked to the axial
skeleton, so the back is stiffer than a lizard's. Girdle per the cross-referenced land plan: a real
bony pectoral girdle with an interclavicle and clavicles, so the forelimb is BOLTED ON rather than
slung — the opposite of every mammal on this plain.
degrees per joint, dorsoventral -8 to +8 [REILLY1998, HILDEBRAND2001]; coxofemoral long-axis
rotation -30 to +30, protraction/retraction -35 to +35 [REILLY1998, BLOB2001]. Trunk-segment figures
are not published for this sub-plan; where § 5 needs one it is INLINE_DECLARED.
DECLARED and LATERAL [AQUATIC.json § rig_conformance].
and still. LAND is THREE postures and not one — belly-crawl at rest, HIGH WALK at speed, and a
bounding gallop. The signature clip is the death roll, a long-axis body roll driven from the tail
and trunk together.
source to cite instead [rift_valley.md:245-252]: a broad snout on a skull that is one rigid plate,
with the enlarged fourth mandibular tooth seated OUTSIDE the upper jaw and visible on a closed
mouth; five digits on the manus and four webbed on the pes; a palatal valve at the back of the
throat that lets the animal open its jaws underwater; a nictitating membrane that closes across the
eye without closing the eye; polyphyodont tooth replacement, so a gap in the tooth row is a
temporary state rather than damage; and the integumentary dome-pressure field across the jaws and —
in this family — the whole body, which is why a still animal in flat water knows where the player
stepped in. The doctrine's own bounds caveat carries: a published envelope is the PASSIVE envelope,
and what a live animal reaches under its own power is smaller by an amount the sources do not
separate [QUADRUPED.json § unmeasured, the table's standing note].
height_m cell with length_axisbody_length — a mature Rift-lake animal, decades old. On land the mass sits over the hips and a turn
costs a body length. In water the mass disappears and the tail alone carries it.
with a smooth interorbital shelf between them. On the shore, a long low wedge whose belly line meets
its own shadow along its whole length, the tail trailing straight out past the end of the body.
folklore_behavior_substrate and folklore_attribution_source are both EMPTY. The region page lists this row among the staged
fauna and gives it one parenthesis — "the Nile crocodile (CR_0060, Thread 2)"
[rift_valley.md:232-237] — and says nothing else about it anywhere on 1,194 lines. The two
traditions the row's cultural_significance names belong to Ch 08 and Ch 15 and are deferred by
name in § 1.
SRC_ ids are real, matchable and were matched: SRC_00186 is the one genuinely Rift-scoped record on the shelf and is a
compiled popular biography of a twentieth-century archaeologist carrying nothing about any animal
[rift_valley.md:944-951]; SRC_00265 (the 1911 /Xam corpus), SRC_00215, SRC_00202, SRC_00197 and
SRC_00481 all resolve on the page and none reaches a crocodile. A matcher that finds those and
returns nothing here is reporting an ABSENCE rather than failing.
the corpus "holds no zoological source tagged to it, so nothing on this page states how a hyena clan
holds ground, how a buffalo commits to a charge, what a fish eagle's presence tells a watcher about
a shoreline" — the readable-behaviour layer "is an acquisition target rather than an invention"
[rift_valley.md:245-252]. Every behavioural line in §§ 2, 4 and 6 is therefore marked
AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY: general zoology carried by this sheet as DESIGN, never as a claim of any source
this region holds. The acquisition is ranked on the page's own brief [rift_valley.md:1048-1050] and
is re-boarded in § 9. The sheet is written so its arrival RE-CITES these lines rather than rewriting
them — the same discipline the landed chapter sheet set [BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:162-170].
anywhere in this sheet, because the corpus attests none and the page bars transcription from a
corpus whose click orthography the OCR destroyed [rift_valley.md:336-344].
and freshwater sweeps side by side [rift_valley.md:158-160]; the soda basins run their own chemistry
[rift_valley.md:189-190] and that chemistry "is the reason the lake chain is visually two different
waters at once", with the specific mineral inventory ruled page-authored general geology that is
named nowhere [rift_valley.md:614-617]. The environment layer splits the two accordingly and carries
the alkaline hazard without naming a mineral [EG_0139, EG_0140]. § 4 spends exactly that and
names no mineral either.
thermal-gape/threat-gape discrimination, the four tells, the corridor turf, and the observation
chain read as this row's non-kill route.
canon rather than on taste: the row's folklore columns are empty, the chapter stages no supernatural
claim on it, and the spine reserves stylization to ONE being — "mythologically-stylized only for the
//gauwasi sickness-shadow" [CH_10.md:223], with the roster row's own mesh_tags.style reading
realistic-ethnographic. The landed chapter sheet refused the identical class on the identical
cites for its own two bodies [BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:131], and a supernatural
crocodile in the one chapter whose whole care architecture rests on the mundane world reading as
real is the Komodo defect with a longer tail.
"the moment a row gains a folklore cell, a staged supernatural claim, or a boss row, the sheet
re-derives under the full grammar." This row already carries a rare_variant whose own text seats a
folklore substrate and a sacred-variant status at Ch 15. THE CH-15 SHEET THEREFORE RE-DERIVES UNDER
THE FULL GRAMMAR and this sheet's REAL_FAUNA call is explicitly a CH-10 call, not a row-wide one.
THE LEGIBILITY CONTRACT. THE FINDER: this is the chapter's ONLY large sprawling body and its finder is
THE THREE POINTS AND NO BAR — nostrils and two eye bosses breaking flat water on one unbroken line,
with a smooth interorbital shelf where a crested crocodilian carries a bar. On land the finder is THE
UNBROKEN GROUND-LINE: every other large body in this chapter stands on daylight and this one does not.
resting water read is "three points and a bar — nostrils, two eye bosses, and the crest", and its
A9 mark is the species' bony post-orbital crest carried as "one hard horizontal bar at the
waterline" [CR_0133_siamese_crocodile.md:77, :122-127]. THE THREE POINTS ARE THE CLASS READ AND THE
BAR IS CR_0133'S OWN SPECIES-AND-INDIVIDUAL ADDITION. A player who learned "one bar means commit" at
Ch 5 meets three points and no bar here, and the absence of the bar is the species call rather than
a missing tell. Nothing on this sheet contradicts that sheet: its fused dorsal pavement, its plugged
craters and its polished ventral atrophy are ONE INDIVIDUAL'S designed history in an engineered
Khmer reservoir and are not species facts, and this animal carries none of them.
buffalo CR_0067 — another lane and a landed sheet author those bodies, and they are discriminated
here BY CITATION and never re-designed). Their own landed contract names all four finders and this
sheet adopts it rather than restating it: the ELAND by A LEVEL TOPLINE OVER A SWINGING KEEL, the BLUE
WILDEBEEST by THE FALLING BACK, the ZEBRA by THE ERECT MANE, and the AFRICAN BUFFALO by THE HEAD
CARRIED BELOW THE SHOULDER LINE under a back highest at the withers
[CR_0066_eland.md:202-209; BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:100-102]. BY CLASS FACT: every one of
the four is an ungulate standing on four visible legs and all four read as MASS ABOVE DAYLIGHT. This
body has no daylight in its silhouette at all and its head is part of the ground-line. The single
case worth naming is the shore case: A HAULED-OUT CROCODILE AND
A WALLOWED-DOWN BUFFALO both read as a long low dark horizontal on pale mud. THE RESOLVER is the
TAIL-LINE AND THE HEAD-LINE — this animal's mass continues past its own body as a straight tapering
line and its head is part of the ground-line, while the buffalo lying down still carries a head
ABOVE the body line with the boss squared across the forehead
[BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:100-102]. THE MUD CONFIRMS; IT NEVER FINDS.
contract says so affirmatively rather than manufacturing one.
THE STATE LADDER — A5 age and state. These are the states a species-typical photograph does not carry.
twice. One species along one corridor reads two ways: the FRESHWATER animal is dark, its scute seams
wet and clean and its hide reading by wetting-darkening; the SODA-SHORE animal has dried an alkaline
bloom pale into every seam of the dorsal scute rows, so the same body is a seam-map at distance
against a saturated-pink flat. MECHANISM: an alkaline shallow leaves a residue when it dries and a
basking animal dries on it. NO MINERAL IS NAMED, which is the page's own discipline on this exact
chemistry [rift_valley.md:614-617; EG_0140].
jaws open and body pressed to the ground at noon, back in the water in the afternoon. The posture
says the hour, which no other body in the chapter does.
animal is narrow, gaps and half-grown replacements in the tooth row, a shortened tail where a
section was taken, a scute row healed over in a smooth patch, and a foot missing digits. A 4.5-metre
crocodile is a biography.
an unfed animal holds its head clear of the ground with the neck cocked. One posture, two readings,
and it is the read the approach in § 6 is priced on.
PRIMARY — A5 AGE AND STATE, the ladder above. SUPPORTING — A9 THE MARK: THE THREE POINTS, and one is
the number. Eyes and nostrils sit on the TOP of the skull and everything else is under the surface, so
the identity of this animal at any distance is three dots on a flat plane and the flatness of the
plane between them. It reads in black fill, it reads at dusk, and it needs no second mark.
ONE-LINE READ: three points on flat water with nothing between them, and on land a body with no
daylight under it.
EMISSION: none. It reads by wetting-darkening on the dorsal scutes, by the pale alkaline bloom in the
seams catching hard dry-season Rift light [rift_valley.md:25], and by occluding the flat sky-reflection
the lake corridor is made of.
bucket or declared inline where the bucket is silent, and the blob test passes because there is

articulation of their own; they are the two moving surfaces that let a jaw open underwater and they

everything about what the animal is allowed to know in § 6.
driven from tail and trunk together and is NOT a sum of vertebral twists — the osteoderm-linked
trunk is stiffer than a lizard's and cannot corkscrew. The roll's axis is the body's own centreline
and the animation is a rotation of the whole chain about it. The baseline trunk figure this rests on
is INLINE_DECLARED, because the bucket publishes no trunk-segment range for this sub-plan.
following the scute seams rather than painted across them, so it survives to distance and reads as
structure rather than as dirt.
combat_facing is TRUE and there is no T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry row, no attack-rail row and no
temperament_prior cell on this row. THE GRAMMAR IS AUTHORED HERE, ONCE, AT THE ROW'S
chapter_first_encounter, FOR THE WHOLE CH_08-CH_15 SPAN — which is the only honest way to discharge
a combat_facing TRUE row whose deciding chapter arms no encounter. WHAT CH_10 ITSELF STAGES is the
observation loop and the traversal price below; what a later chapter arms, it arms with this.
PART ECONOMY HOME: BODY, on the real animal's own structures. NO A3 SPEND IS CLAIMED and the
distinction matters: nothing is added, elevated or armoured beyond the species, and the parts are
regions the real body already has. A sheet in this register that BUILT armour would be in the wrong
register [doctrine § 3D budget].
THE ONE-ANSWER DISCIPLINE'S HARDEST CASE ON THIS BODY, NAMED FIRST BECAUSE IT IS THE TRAP: TWO SHAPES
OPEN THE SAME JAWS. THE THERMAL GAPE — jaws wide, body pressed flat to the ground, eyes half-shut, the
chest ON the substrate — means nothing at all and the answer is nothing at all. THE THREAT GAPE — jaws
wide, HEAD AND CHEST LIFTED CLEAR OF THE GROUND, a hiss — means a committed animal. THE DISCRIMINANT
IS DAYLIGHT UNDER THE CHEST and it survives black fill at any distance. One shape reading, two
postures, and the player learns the difference on a basking animal that was never going to hurt them.
| tell shape | body origin | the one answer | counter class worn on the body |
|---|---|---|---|
| THE FLAT DRIFT (OPENER) | the tail sculls once, below the surface, and the three points close range without a wake | the water is the tell and not the animal — leave the water plane, take the terrace or the shore bench | dodge |
| THE POINTS GO | the animal submerges without a ripple; the three points are simply absent | it can still read you and you can no longer read it — increase distance from the bank NOW, because the read you were using is gone | dodge |
| THE LIFTED CHEST | the forelimbs push the chest and head clear of the ground, jaws open, a hiss | the ground it is on is spoken for — give the bank and take the water it left, which is the same answer the crocodilian HIGH WALK carries on every crocodilian in the game (THE CROSS-CREATURE LESSON, shared with CR_0133's stone haul and carrying the SAME answer) | dodge |
| THE WATER LUNGE | the whole tail loads and unloads at once and the body leaves the water to a body length up the bank | it has exactly one beat of travel and no second — go LATERAL and UPSLOPE, because the lunge cannot be repeated from a bank it is now standing on | dodge |
| THE CLOSED JAW | the jaws shut and the whole animal goes rigid and quiet | the roll is next and the roll is not survivable in contact — the grip is the last moment an answer exists, and the answer is the presented skull plate | parry |
NO ELEMENTAL-NEUTRALIZE CLASS EXISTS ON THIS BODY, DECLARED AFFIRMATIVELY. It carries no element
family and gathers nothing on itself, so the third counter class has no home here and the sheet says
so rather than inventing a gather that would need a source in frame it does not have.
BREAKABLE PARTS AT GAMEPLAY DISTANCE, each with its silhouette fraction and its three currencies.
standing silhouette and the highest point of the animal at rest. BREAK EVENT: the cluster shears and
the neck's wet dark hide is bare above the shoulder, a contrast inversion at the front of the
profile. SUBTRACTION: THE LIFTED CHEST leaves the live set — it stops presenting a surface it can
feel is gone. LEGIBILITY GAIN: with the display retired the animal has only travel left and the
remaining tells read simpler. MATERIAL: the shield is the hide grade the QUARRY loop wants
[T3_Creatures_Tameable:101, :118], and the row carries no drop anchor to receive it (§ 9).
swimming engine, roughly 11 per cent of the standing silhouette and close to the whole of the
submerged wake read. BREAK EVENT: a crest section shears and the stroke goes asymmetric, so the
animal swims a shallow arc rather than a line and is identifiable across a whole shore segment.
SUBTRACTION: THE WATER LUNGE leaves the live set permanently, because the engine that threw it is
damaged. LEGIBILITY GAIN: the arc is a free identification of this individual.
ESCALATION ON FOUR CHANNELS, nameable before any meter. POSTURE: from the flat drift with the chest on
the substrate, to the chest carried clear of it — one boolean, visible in fill. BREATH: the exhale
through the nostrils pushes a visible ring outward on flat water between moves, and the rings STOP
when the animal commits. VOCALIZATION: the infrasonic bellow, which is heard as much as it is SEEN —
the water standing on the dorsal scutes jumps clear of the back while the animal makes no visible
movement at all, a display that costs no light and no particle system (AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY). NEW OPENER:
after escalation the opener is THE LIFTED CHEST rather than the flat drift; it comes out of the water
first and the arena changes from water to bank.
THE OPENER AND ITS VARIANTS: the root is THE FLAT DRIFT, the least punishing and most legible thing
the animal does. Its dangerous variants are the same body origin with the wind removed (the drift held
to contact distance before the lunge) and with the arc widened (the drift carried into a lateral sweep
across a shore segment's mouth). Teaching order is drift, vanish, lift, lunge — four beats, each
shorter than the last.
RELOCATION AND TURF: it owns a shore segment and it moves along the corridor's five [rift_valley.md:74].
It does not follow onto the terrace, and the freshwater sweep and the alkaline shallow are two
different waters it holds two different ways [rift_valley.md:614-617]. It is doing something that is
not about the player: it is where the water is warm in the morning and where the fish are in the
evening.
THE NON-KILL ROUTE IS CANON'S OWN AND IT IS A CHAIN. The seven-observation completionist chain
[T3_Creatures_Tameable:114] is this row's ruled non-kill path and it takes the doctrine's chain shape
exactly: a run of correct reads — distance held, wind held, the thermal gape told from the threat gape,
the points-go answered — where one wrong read puts the animal down and wipes the session's progress.
The pips live on the HUD; the BODY carries the chain in the head-clear-of-the-ground posture, so a
player feels the chain building without looking away from the water.
THE HUNT LOOP'S BACK HALF IS CH-10 PLAYABLE AND IS NAMED HERE RATHER THAN LEFT IMPLIED, because § 1(b)
licences the whole loop and a loop authored only to the kill is a half-loop. A player who takes this
animal on a shore segment field-dresses it into hide, meat, sinew and trophy at the drop table's
rarity grades, and the consequence lands the way the tameable doc rules it lands: "the range thins,
the predator that fed on it moves, and the community that shares the range remembers who took what"
[T3_Creatures_Tameable:118]. Two of the three are live at Ch 10 on canon's own ground — the corridor's
five staged shore segments are a range that can thin, and this body is the apex whose removal moves
what fed beside it [rift_valley.md:74] — and the third is thin here BY CANON rather than by omission,
because the Rift lakes are traversal geography with no community seated on them and the chapter's
living communities are at the Eyasi shore and the camp, not the water [CH_10.md:80-83, :86-87]. THE
MATERIAL HAS NOWHERE TO LAND: rng_drop_anchor is EMPTY on this QUARRY row and § 9 boards it; the
loop is designed and the anchor is the registry lane's to write.
THE TRAVERSAL PRICE, WHICH IS WHAT CH_10 ACTUALLY STAGES. The lake chain is a corridor the protagonist
walks [CH_10.md:87; rift_valley.md:166-171] and this animal is the reason its shore is a decision. It
costs nothing to walk it read correctly and everything to walk it read wrong. That is the row's Ch-10
job and it needs no beat to be real.
forbids re-applying collective protection to game animals. The § 17.1 protection live in this chapter
is the /Xam, //Gwi and Ju|'hoansi peoples, the Hadza, the Sandawe and the Maasai, and combat routes
only to the //gauwasi, permitted fauna and the protagonist's own trial [CH_10.md:59, :204;
rift_valley.md:367-372]. Nothing in this sheet puts a person anywhere near a target position.
combat_permission PERMITTED. Care routes staging, never scope (RULING_10). The row's own cultural_care_register rules the CVD-§6-as-fauna-protection reading
VOID and is quoted whole in § 1; this sheet holds that ruling rather than re-deciding it.
realistic-ethnographic register the row's own mesh_tags.style carries — NOT the photographic-wildlife template. This is the exact defect the
doctrine was written to stop, and the landed chapter sheet calls its own two bodies "the highest-risk
row IN THE CHAPTER for that defect, because the subjects are real African megafauna and the style
cell says realistic-ethnographic" [BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:415] — a chapter-scoped
claim, kept at its cited scope, and this row sits on the same ground. A plate that shows a clean
species-typical animal has failed: the two-waters seam-map and the 4.5-metre biography are what a
plate must carry.
ONLY. The deep-time window's fauna register is Pelorovis, Sivatherium and *Hippopotamus gorgops*,
staged as real animals of a real past inside the fluctuation windows and never as monsters
[rift_valley.md:253-258]; THIS ROW IS NOT ONE OF THEM, exactly as the landed chapter sheet ruled for
its own bodies [BE_0010_S2_olduvai_fauna_guardian.md:156-161]. No crocodilian is staged in the
deep-time strata by this sheet, and the chapter's ordering rule — the living present opens first and
is never entered THROUGH the deep-time stratum — is not touched by anything here
[rift_valley.md:1134-1137].
importing the Ch-15 Sobek register early so that a sacred framing protects it at Ch 10. Refused
twice over — the row's own care cell rules the fauna-protection reading VOID, and importing an
Egyptian tradition into a Rift chapter would be an invention on a page whose entire discipline is
refusal to invent [rift_valley.md:327-333]. BOLD, REFUSED, AND THIS IS THE HARDER ONE: should
this row have been built as a staged Ch-10 encounter — an apex, PERMITTED, combat_facing TRUE, the
chapter's only large sprawler, and a chapter that badly wants a second fight? A lane could reasonably
build one. REFUSED ON MEASURED CANON: the site hosts no beats [CH_10.md:87], ambient threats are
none beyond BE_0010_S2 [CH_10.md:98], the asset anchor permits combat only against the territorial
guardian [CH_10.md:221], the encounter enumeration lists four encounters across three sites and no
water [CH_10.md:247], and
the water's own environment row is env_boss_verb_disabled TRUE with a note saying so in terms
[EG_0139]. The refusal is scope discipline rather than squeamishness and it is REVERSIBLE BY
MEASUREMENT: if a later canon pass arms the lake corridor or Ch 12/14/15 stages this body, the fight
is BUILT and § 6 is already written for it.
the fed-and-unfed posture read, the thermal-gape/threat-gape discriminant, the five tells, the two
breakable parts and their currencies, the four escalation channels, the corridor turf, and the
observation chain read as a wiping chain are INVENTED BY THIS SHEET as the game's own design. The
skeleton, the ROM, the gait, the three land postures, the death roll and the rig-conformance floor
are DERIVED from the AQUATIC bucket and its SPRAWLING_QUADRUPED cross-reference and cited there. The
snout, the fourth tooth, the palatal valve, the nictitating membrane, the tooth replacement and the
dome-pressure field are INLINE_DECLARED AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY on the bucket's silences. The permission,
the QUARRY and OBSERVE registers, the hunt loop, the observation chain, the size, the two waters and
the deferrals are CITED.
[CH_10.md:37, :99, :239], so no player-facing string this sheet proposes could carry a family name,
pattern or agent-noun; none does, and the Grand Sage is dark.
Written affirmatively. Every line names what IS in frame.

the animal in it could be mistaken for wildlife reference.
T0_Creature_Roster @ CR_0060 :: trade_8_tameable reads QUARRY while
T3_Creatures_Tameable:447 types the same Ch-10 population "non-familiar cohort at OBSERVE and
DANGEROUS register" — three of the five canonical categories across two canon surfaces for one row
and one chapter. § 1(c) builds the intersection; the vocabulary is the REGISTRY LANE'S to reconcile,
and it changes which Beastiary path a filtering lane reads off the column.
hard_line_anchors IS EMPTY, deliberately left to this lane by the row's own scope note. The Ch-10read says it would carry HL_0003 and HL_0123 [CH_10.md:17, :59, :204]. This lane writes no cell.
rng_drop_anchor IS EMPTY on a QUARRY row while T3_Creatures_Tameable:101 names QUARRY's ownanchors — DROP_BIGGAME_HIDE_MEAT and DROP_FISH_FLESH_ROE — in the definition of the grade. A hunt
loop with a hide, a permission, and no anchor to receive either.
temperament_prior IS EMPTY on an apex ambush predator while CR_0133 carries ambush on the samearchetype in the same bucket. § 6's grammar has no cell to hang its register on.
extinction_threat IS EMPTY on this row while the roster carries T4 on comparable rows and theregion page ranks Rift ecology as an outstanding acquisition [rift_valley.md:1048-1050].
combat_facing IS TRUE ON A ROW WHOSE CHAPTER-OF-RECORD ARMS NO ENCOUNTER FOR IT. The demand tablereads the permission cell; the chapter's site row, ambient-threat line, asset anchor and
environment-grammar row all say the water hosts nothing [CH_10.md:87, :98, :221, :247; EG_0139].
Neither surface is wrong; the columns cannot express "permitted in the world, unstaged in this
chapter", and a lane filtering on combat_permission alone will read this row as a Ch-10 fight.
The same shape CR_0133 and CR_0140 board as PERMITTED-but-unrewarded
[CR_0133_siamese_crocodile.md:261-264].
thread_anchor READS Thread 2 ON A CROCODILIAN while the chapter's Thread 2 subject is the /Xamrock-art serpentine forms [CH_10.md:36]. The column cannot express the difference between CARRYING a
thread and BEING its subject — the identical debt CR_0133 and CR_0147 board
[CR_0133_siamese_crocodile.md:267-269].
mesh_tags.material CARRIES THE CHAPTER PALETTE WHOLE — "ochre and iron-oxide, rock-panel patina,deep-cut tuff, soda-lake pink" [CH_10.md:223] — on all three of this lane's CH_10 rows. This is NOT
the cross-anchor contamination the CH_05 rows boarded: every term belongs to this chapter. It is a
per-animal noun problem instead: rock-panel patina and deep-cut tuff are the panel and gorge
materials and are wrong nouns for a lake apex, and mesh_tags.era ends "continuous San tradition"
on an animal. A generator reading this cell is being handed the chapter rather than the body.
T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry AND T0_Boss_Attack_Rail HAVE NO ROW FOR THIS BODY IN ANY OF ITS FIVECHAPTERS. Five tell shapes, two breakable parts and four escalation channels sit entirely in prose,
and hitzone_parts is not reachable from a creature row at all.
physical_profile BLOCK IS AUTHORED, and the gap is named rather than left silent. The CR_0002 template requires a MEASURED enclosed_volume_m3 read off a shipped mesh at canon scale;
this row's generation_status is pending and mesh_id_ref is EMPTY, so the measured leg cannot be
taken and a guessed volume would poison harness/asset_factory/emit_creature_physical.py at source.
Deferred to the mesh landing with § 2's ROM table ready to carry into § 10.2. Unlike CR_0133 this row
DOES carry a length figure (4.5 m body_length), which is the one input the volume pass will not have
to wait for.
kit_ref IS EMPTY, carried forward from the L11 demand state (RULING_13 F1).lakes ecology and the African Humid Period — Hassan's Holocene palaeoclimate work and a Rift lakes
limnology anchor" [rift_valley.md:1048-1050]. THE CONSEQUENCE IS THE PAGE'S OWN AND IS QUOTED AS
SUCH: that line "Blocks Section 3's readable-behaviour layer and Section 1's flood-window detail"
[rift_valley.md:1050], and Section 3 states separately that the corpus holds no zoological source for
this region at all [rift_valley.md:245-252]. That stated consequence — not the target's title — is
why every behavioural line on this sheet is marked AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY.
Sobek care register, the leucistic sacred-variant, and the W2 familiar bond are the CH-15 LANE'S,
and doctrine § 3D's ceiling means that sheet RE-DERIVES this body under the full grammar rather than
inheriting this one's REAL_FAUNA call.
