STATUS: PROPOSAL-TIER design sheet. It is the MACHINE REGISTER's SECOND built instance (doctrine
§3B, declared PROVISIONAL on BE_0009_S1 with one instance) and the first one where the machine is
not a tool brought to a place but the PLACE ITSELF — the row is the arena, and the register's law is
tested against that rather than against a rig on a lawn. §9 records what the second instance
confirms and what it amends. It cites canon rows and writes none.

prose rather than in any column: "Headgear, stamp battery, compound and shaft are built to be
temporary by design — a structure whose success is measured by how completely it removes the thing
it stands on" [south_africa.md § 7 — page authority, no SRC on this shelf]. FOUR STRUCTURES, AND
THIS SHEET IS HONEST ABOUT WHICH OF THEM IT BUILDS: the STAMP BATTERY and the HEADGEAR are this
encounter's body and are built below; the BOILER LINE it fights beside is taken from EG_0216
rather than authored here; and the COMPOUND is taken from EG_0217, where it is the labor floor's
gate and belongs to BE_0013_S2's beat. The shaft is what the headgear stands over. No structure
is added that the works does not already carry.
headgear-and-stamp-battery floor is 220 x 160, the labor floor 180 x 120, and the superintendent's
office deck 40 x 30 [south_africa.md § Zone Catalog L94]. The kit's silhouette read — "a machine
the size of a building, doing the same thing forever" — is measured by those numbers rather than
asserted against them.

and therefore the dangerous one.

rank of verticals under a lattice, and its weight passes down the stems into the block and out into
the ground rather than through anything an attack can reach.
other, which produces the floor's continuous rolling beat. The region page rules that beat's
status: "the stamp battery is a metronome, and because the boss's third phase runs his whip-calls
on the machine timings, the music and the combat grammar are the same object. The industrial layer
should be built as a rhythm bed the player learns to read" [south_africa.md § 10 — page authority].
This sheet's whole fight is that sentence given a body.
vertical stems whose top edge is a MOVING SAWTOOTH, a plume standing above the works, and a wheel
turning over a hole in the ground. Its only true resting silhouette is the win state, and §6 says
what that looks like.
It embodies no folklore, carries no attested being, and belongs to no living tradition's cosmology.
What it has instead is a documented HISTORY and a canon-fixed GRIEVANCE, and both are cited below.
on the land, it inverts it — "a reef is followed down and a pipe is emptied upward, and the spoil
comes out as engineered hills that were not there," so the chapter's climb is "a vertical argument
— up the sacred wall in the cliff phase, down into the works at the boss" [south_africa.md § 1 —
page authority]. The machine is the second half of that argument, and its physical read has to be
the opposite of the escarpment's.
threads = T22,Thread 22 Sacred Stones and Crystals, whose Ch-13 content is "the Blombos 100,000-year ochre full
payoff, the Great Zimbabwe dry-stone and Zimbabwe Bird soapstone, and the Witwatersrand gold and
Kimberley diamond extraction context, the Southern African sacred-stone convergence"
[CH_13 § Threads advancing L49]. The spine names this row's tier directly: "the Thread 22
sacred-stone desecration tier" [CH_13 § Boss structure L102].
through this region's story twice, "as the Indian Ocean trade that made Great Zimbabwe rich on its
own terms and closed the Ch 8 loop, and as the reef that made the Witwatersrand a machine. The two
golds are the same metal in two economies and the chapter is the comparison" [south_africa.md § 9 —
page authority]. The battery is one side of that comparison, standing.
never touches it): ochre is the region's first and last mineral, the Blombos engraved ochre is
named in the peer-review record as southern Africa's earliest explicit symbolic representation, and
"the same pigment tradition is what the paintings on the escarpment are made of, which is why the
Thread-22 sacred-stone weight sits on a gathering item rather than on a treasure"

it is the negative of both" — set beside a wall that holds by nothing but the fit of its stones and
a shelter whose whole technology is patience — "and it should be carried in the geometry and the
material rather than in dialogue" [south_africa.md § 7 — page authority]. Every plate in §8 obeys
that instruction: the argument is made by the geometry, and nobody in the encounter states it.
mine's machinery is authored as a timing system before it is authored as a mesh, because three
separate encounters read from it" [south_africa.md § 17 — page authority]. BE_0013_S1,
BE_0013_S2 and BE_0013.P3 are those three, and §6 is written as a timing system that a mesh
then has to express.
1937 REMOVAL BOUNDED BE_0009_S1: the page's acquisition brief lists "the stamp-battery and
compound working practice of the Witwatersrand" among its deep-research targets rather than among
its held sources [south_africa.md § 16 — page authority]. There is therefore no held account of how
one of these floors actually ran, and this sheet does not pretend to one.
the four-frames-of-five configuration and the twenty-stamp count, the fixed drop order as the
machine's gait, the feeder cam keyed one beat ahead of its stamp, the belt as the assembly's only
compliant member, the three-part economy's physical bodies and their failure modes, the sawtooth
top edge as the machine's posture channel, and every tell shape in §6. The members named — headgear,
stamp battery, compound, shaft — are the region page's; the floor dimensions are the Zone Catalog's;
the metronome ruling is the region page's; and the working practice that would let a builder check
the rest is a boarded acquisition (§9).
ONE-LINE SILHOUETTE READ: a rank of twenty falling weights under a lattice, with a plume standing
over it, and the whole thing keeping better time than anything alive.
THE ZERO-ANATOMY RULE BINDS ABSOLUTELY AND IT IS NOT A LIMITATION HERE. There is no body to elevate
and none is smuggled in: no face, no eyes, no mouth in the ore chute, no member that reads as a limb
by resemblance rather than by function. Every person on this floor — enforcer and pressed worker
alike — is governed by the human register, and the pressed workers are governed additionally by §7.
PRIMARY — A3 ARMORED AND BREAKABLE REGIONS, TRANSPOSED ONTO LOAD PATHS. This is the axis the register
was declared for, and a stamp battery satisfies it harder than the Aksum rig did, because the rig had
one load path and this has four in parallel with a shared drive and a shared boiler. MECHANISM: every
part in §6's economy is a member carrying a real force with a real failure mode and NO REDUNDANCY —
cut the belt and the cam shaft stops, and a stopped cam shaft is twenty stems resting on their dies.
The three currencies the doctrine demands are met part for part in §6, and the reason the
transposition is honest rather than decorative is that the machine cannot compensate: courage,
numbers and desperation on the floor restore nothing.
SUPPORTING — A1 SCALE BAND at LANDMARK, which is the band the doctrine defines as "the body is part
of the terrain and the arena is on it." The row and the arena are the same object: EG_0215's own
note is that the machine IS the row, and the kit's turf line is that it does not enter, relocate or
leave because it is a building. MECHANISM, per the band's requirement that something carry the extra
mass and be named: the mass is carried by the mortar block and the frame posts straight into a mass
foundation, which is why nothing an attack does to the machine moves it and why the whole part
economy is about interrupting a MOTION rather than toppling a body. The consequence the band demands
is stated too — the machine's telegraphs are long because its members are heavy, and its one fast
event is the one thing in it that is not rigid.
SUPPORTING — A10 NEGATIVE SPACE, and the absent thing is A BEAT. The doctrine names "a gait with a
beat missing" as this axis's own example and the machine supplies it literally: five stamps per frame
fall in a fixed order, so a stem hung up in its guide is a HOLE IN THE RHYTHM — audible before it is
visible, and visible in the top edge before it is visible anywhere else. MECHANISM: a periodic
mechanical gait with a member removed. This is the axis that gives the encounter its HUD-free
readout, and it is the register's own requirement that the machine supply the meter.
SUPPORTING — A5 AGE AND STATE, and the state is THE MOUNTAIN IN ANOTHER FORM. The doctrine's own
example for this axis is mineral accretion from the water a guardian keeps; here the accretion is
inverted and is the encounter's whole grievance made material — everything on this floor is coated in
the range it is eating. Rock dust in the lagging's condensate, slurry drying grey on the mortar
block, tailings underfoot, the belts furred with it. MECHANISM: comminution products deposited on the
machine that made them. The player is walking on the mountain, and nobody says so.
MECHANISM ROLL-UP, per the doctrine's requirement: A3 is mechanical load paths and their failure
modes; A1 is a floor-sized assembly footed on a mass foundation; A10 is a fixed drop order with a
member missing; A5 is the crushed rock deposited back onto its own machine. EMISSION: NONE, with one
named and lawful exception — the boiler line is COMBUSTION with visible fuel, and it obeys the light
law's first emitting family exactly: a fire door with a coal face behind it, colour that tracks
temperature, and ash that cools to dark. Nothing else on this floor self-lights. The machine reads by
being LIT — by furnace light from below and by daylight through the headgear lattice — and by
occlusion, which is why §8 briefs it in silhouette.
any person in the encounter.
Aksum rig was. What the asset lane owes, each item with its attachment and its travel:
by its own cam on a shared shaft and released, each falling under gravity rather than being
played. The encounter's legibility depends on the player believing the stems are being LIFTED and
then LET GO, and a baked loop cannot express a stem that fails to be let go — which is the
encounter's central event.
order is the gait, the gait is the telegraph, and a missing member has to remove its beat from
both the sound and the top edge in the same frame or the whole design is a lie.
parts does not fall, it WHIPS — the same physics BE_0009_S1 specified for a severed running
cable, in a second body, which is the argument for building it once. Attachment: line shaft above
to frame pulley below; travel: one span, tension its only state.
it is the physical reason the crush lane telegraphs, and if the feeder is animated in phase with
the stamp instead of ahead of it, the player loses the tell and the fight becomes a memory test.
before a release, which is the kit's own tell shape and is a WETTING-DARKENING read rather than a
light one, which is why it survives the light law and reads on a bright floor.
drive stops is the cheapest possible statement that this thing has momentum and no mind.
passes into the dies and the mortar block; the block's into the foundation; the frames' into their
posts; the headgear's into its legs and its ground plate. NO LOAD PASSES THROUGH ANY PART THE PLAYER
CAN CLIMB ON, which is a build requirement rather than an observation — a gantry that collapses
because the player is standing on it would make the encounter about the player's weight, and this
encounter is about the machine's.
EG_0206 is hard_blocked with ten hard-line references and attack_verbs = none; no ability of the machine's, no hazard, no
collapse, no stray physics object and no player action touches it, and the kit's own arena block
says the same in one line. The works has already done what it did to the range; the encounter never
adds to it.
VERBS ARE PART-BREAK AND EVADE, axis 30/40/30, Puzzle-and-Preparation. The row's counters, verbatim:
the steam-vent tell, timed on its gap or met with Heat-Shield; the crush lane, stepped on its
telegraph. Two phases, evolve-not-swap — the row's clause is that phase two TIGHTENS THE VENT TIMINGS
AND ADDS NO NEW ATTACKS, and the sheet obeys it literally. This sheet does not restate the kit's
twelve abilities; it supplies the BODY those abilities originate in, and where the two touch the same
thing they agree.
THE ENCOUNTER'S STRUCTURAL IDEA, AND IT IS THE INVERSE OF EVERY CREATURE IN THE SLICE: THERE IS
NOTHING TO OUTFIGHT. The machine has no intention, does not adapt, does not aim, does not notice, and
will not stop. It is the only adversary in the slice with no agency at all, and the design's answer to
the doctrine's agency test is not to give it a mind but to give it a PROBLEM SPACE the player has real
agency inside: a periodic system with a readable phase, four parallel paths, and a shared drive whose
removal is the win. The player is not fighting; the player is DISASSEMBLING SOMETHING WHILE IT RUNS,
and the pressure comes from the fact that it never waits.
PART ECONOMY HOME, DECLARED BY NAME per doctrine §2.4: MACHINERY. Not body, not vehicle, not
equipment, not architecture, not surfaces, not restorative, not none. Silhouette fractions are given
as fractions of the ARENA rather than of a creature, per that section's own rule for this home.
| tell shape | body origin | one answer | counter class |
|---|---|---|---|
| the cycle — the stamps fall on a period and nothing else happens | the cam shaft turning and twenty stems being lifted and let go | nothing. It is free, and it is the whole adversary stated once: this thing has one idea and it will never have another | none — the opener, and it teaches the beat |
| the crush lane — the floor plate under a frame moves BEFORE the stamp does | the feeder shoe on its cam, keyed one beat ahead of the stamp it serves | STEP ON THE TELEGRAPH — the row's own counter, and the plate's motion is a full beat of warning that costs the machine nothing to give and gives the player everything | dodge-only |
| the steam-vent tell — the lagging above the walkway darkens with condensate | the relief line reaching its set pressure, wetting its own insulation before it opens | TIME THE GAP or Heat-Shield the burst — the row's own first counter, and the darkening is a material read rather than a light one | interrupt / neutralize |
| the taut belt — a span that was hanging goes straight | the line shaft taking up drive into a frame's pulley | COVER. A belt under load is the only fast member in the assembly and the only one that can reach across the floor | cover-only |
| the missing beat — the rank's rhythm has a HOLE in it, at a fixed position in the order, and the top edge has a flat section | a stem hung in its guide, or a frame whose belt is gone; the order is intact and one seat in it is empty | this is the SCOREBOARD, not a threat. It is how the player reads their own progress with no HUD, and learning to hear it is the encounter's real skill | read |
| the ore chute — the noise arrives from ABOVE AND BEHIND the rank rather than from the rank, and it changes before the fall does | the feed opening overhead; a source that is not on the floor at all | DODGE, and dodge outward rather than along — the only auditory event in the encounter whose source is over the player's head | dodge-only |
| the cascade — the beats are all still there and they arrive OFF-ORDER, the rhythm irregular rather than holed | one broken part loading the next, so a frame's stamps fall out of their keyed sequence | COVER, and then read the irregularity — it has a shape, and predicting which frame fails next is how the player crosses the floor safely | cover |
| the overloaded frame — the PITCH drops and stays down, with the order and the beat count unchanged | the battery running against a jam, the cam shaft loading and the whole frame taking strain | THE WEAK POINT. win_condition = PART_BREAK runs through this shape, and it is the one auditory event that is an invitation rather than a warning | weak-point |
ONE SHAPE, ONE ANSWER. The crush lane and the cycle share a location and are distinguished by WHAT
MOVES FIRST — the floor plate or the stem — and the encounter teaches that distinction in its opening
seconds, because the machine is already running when the player arrives and the cheap lesson is free.
The taut belt and the steam-vent tell are deliberately unlike each other in every channel (a straight
line going tight against a dark patch spreading) because they are the two events with the shortest
windows.
THE AUDITORY CHANNEL CARRIES FOUR SHAPES AND THE DISCRIMINATOR IS STATED RATHER THAN LEFT TO THE
PLAYER'S EAR. This machine's only continuous signal is a fixed drop order, so four different events
all arrive as "the sound changed" unless the design says what changed, and a channel with four
answers behind one shape is the one-answer test failing in audio instead of in silhouette. The four
are distinguished by a single property each, and each property is independently audible:
READ: progress, not danger.
COVER: the machine is failing unpredictably and the floor is no longer safe by memory.
the feed above and behind. That is the ore chute, and it is a DODGE, outward.
is the overloaded frame, and it is the WEAK POINT.
The build requirement that makes this real: the drop order is a parameter rather than a loop (§5), so
a hole, a displacement and a pitch drop are three different states of one system rather than three
audio cues laid over the same loop, and the ore chute is mixed to a spatial position the other three
never occupy.
THE MISSING BEAT IS THE DELIBERATE CROSS-ENCOUNTER LESSON and it is taught here to be spent one beat
later: BE_0013_S2 fights on this machine's timings, and a player who learned to hear a hole in the
rhythm here has already learned the answer to the overseer's ability that runs on the stamp.
THE MACHINE SUPPLIES THE METER, per the register's own requirement, and it is physical and HUD-free
in three registers at once — the COUNT of stems still rising, the SOUND of the drop order with its
holes, and the PLUME over the works. A player who has never opened a menu knows exactly how far
through this encounter they are, from anywhere on the floor.
BREAKABLE PARTS — the kit's three, given their bodies, their failure modes and their fractions of the
arena silhouette. No fourth part is added, because the kit's economy is the encounter's and this sheet
supplies physics rather than content.
0.18 of the skyline above the works and is the part the player actually reads): break threshold is
the valve seized open or its run cut at the gantry; break event is a single long release and then
nothing; permanent subtraction is that the steam-vent tell, the tightened vent and the hot floor all
go cold, which is the largest single subtraction on the floor; legibility gain is that the plume
over the works STOPS, which is visible from the labor floor, from the compound gate and from the
cliff; the material the economy wants is brass fitting, and the chapter's smithing line takes it.
made entirely of verticals — which is why they are unmissable): break threshold is the span parted
or thrown off its pulley under load; break event is the WHIP, the most dangerous single event in the
encounter and one the player caused; permanent subtraction is that the frame it drove goes silent
and its five stamps stop, and the belt run and sprung belt leave the encounter with it; legibility
gain is total and immediate — five stems stop moving, and the top edge grows a flat section a
quarter of the rank wide; the material is leather belt stock.
largest visual fact): break threshold is the frame run against a jam until the cam shaft binds, which
is why the row's own weak point is an OVERLOADED frame rather than a struck one; break event is the
pitch dropping and staying down; permanent subtraction is the cycle, the crush lane and the
overloaded frame all ending; legibility gain is the encounter's last and best — THE NOISE STOPS, and
the region page rules that noise the chapter's readout in the first place; nothing is harvested,
because the break is the win.
ESCALATION on the four channels, and the register's rule is that a machine has no posture and no
breath so the channels attach to the OPERATORS. This encounter tests that rule and partly refuses it,
which §9 boards:
does, because its top edge is a moving sawtooth and the COUNT OF STEMS AT THE TOP OF THEIR LIFT is a
wind-up pose distinguishable from an idle pose in black fill alone. As the bearings go, the travel
gets longer and the sawtooth gets taller. That is a posture channel on a machine, and it is the
cleanest one in the slice.
rhythm and which shortens in phase two.
register's rule that the voice channel is the work-call chain holds for the PEOPLE on this floor and
is spent in BE_0013_S2; here the voice is mechanical, and the escalation is a pitch drop rather
than a chain breaking.
lane becomes the opener, which is the same body doing the same thing at a shorter distance from the
player.
THE OPENER AND ITS VARIANTS: the root is THE CYCLE — free, harmless, unmissable, and the entire
adversary stated once. The crush lane is the cycle with the player standing in it. The tightened vent
is the steam-vent tell with the gap removed. The cascade is the cycle with a part missing, and it is
the only variant that arrives because of something the player did.
RELOCATION AND TURF: it does not enter, relocate or leave. It is a building. What it does to the arena
is that it IS the arena, and the only thing that changes about the space is how much of it is still
running.
WIN: the machinery dropped and the superintendent's floor unlocked — the row's own reward, and the row
is explicit that the win is taken against the apparatus and never against a person. LOSS: the row
rules that the retry gets the vent cadence mapped, which is exactly the right loss for a periodic
system — the player leaves knowing the timing better than they arrived. No fail-wall.
= oppressor_apparatus`, and the spine states the reason in terms: the industrial hazard is "framed as
apparatus so no person is the target" [CH_13 § Boss structure L102; §10 CH13_B10 L157]. Combat in this
chapter routes through the colonial mining apparatus, the human oppressor layer, permitted fauna, a
materialized rock-art teaching-echo and a fictional gold-trade broker, and NEVER through the /Xam, the
ǂKhomani, the Gǀwi, the Griqua and Khoekhoe, the amaZulu, the Shona or the Cape freed-slave community
[CH_13 § Protected-chapter combat framing L226; south_africa.md § 6; HL_0003, HL_0123].
EG_0217 is the labor floor, the compound gate and the pressed-labor line, and the people on it are
people. No ability of the machine's is authored to kill them for atmosphere, no failure state of the
player's harms them, and the chapter's win frees them [CH_13 §10 CH13_B09 L149-152]. The one honest
thing the design does with them is the thing that is true: THEY ARE WORKING WHILE THE PLAYER FIGHTS,
because a stamp floor does not stop, and the encounter's real horror is that the machine's rhythm is
also their working day.
the labor-coercion the chapter's fork turns on are the documented record, and the region page rules
the posture for all of it: care means weight and not omission, the hard material stays, and the
colonial and apartheid history is presented as the documented record holds it [south_africa.md § 4].
Nothing here is softened into a generic factory.
= feral` is the ladder's honest floor for a thing that commits and does not reconsider, and the kit
boards the row as the first candidate if the scale ever grows a non-agent member. This sheet agrees
and adds nothing to the tier.
are its conditioning input under the concept-first law. Nothing in this encounter is a sacred human
form and nothing routes through a photographic-wildlife template. The protected surfaces in the
chapter — the shelters, the panel pocket, the cave — are REFERENCE_BUILT elsewhere and are not in
this encounter's frame at all.
(1) THE TEMPTATION TO GIVE THE MACHINE A FACE. A boss with no intention is harder to write, and the
obvious rescue is to anthropomorphise it — a shape in the frame that reads as a head, a hazard that
seems to aim, a moment where the machine appears to notice. REFUSED, and refused as the BOLDER
option rather than the safer one: the row's own gloss is that the apparatus is never a person, the
kit's own turf line is that this is the only adversary in the slice with no intention at all, and a
machine that appears to hunt is a smaller and more familiar thing than a machine that does not care.
The devil's-advocate reading is recorded fairly — a mindless boss risks being a hazard course rather
than an encounter — and the answer is structural rather than cosmetic: the agency test is met by the
problem space in §6, by four parallel paths with a shared drive, and by a meter the player drives.
(2) THE TEMPTATION TO STAGE A WORKER DEATH FOR WEIGHT. An industrial floor makes it easy to buy
gravity with a body. REFUSED — not on squeamishness but because it would spend the pressed labor as
material, which is precisely the use the chapter's own care framing exists to refuse, and because the
chapter already has an honest place for that weight: the fork at CH13_B08, where the player's own
complicity is the subject. The weight goes there, where the player is answerable for it.

the five tell shapes are INVENTED BY THIS SHEET and are the game's own. The four members (headgear,

encounter's whole argument is the comparison between the two frames.
plate contains a painted panel, a shelter, an ochre surface or any protected cultural property at any
depth of field; no plate depicts a worker as a subject of the machine's action; no plate carries a
company mark, a crest or an owner's name; PLATE G is briefed at the same fidelity as PLATE A because
the distance read is the meter; and PLATE H is mandatory rather than optional, because a machine
register with no stopped-state plate has never drawn its own win.
finding for §3B, which is marked PROVISIONAL on one instance and now has two. CONFIRMED: zero
anatomy; the elevation landing on load paths and their failure modes; no redundancy as the reason the
A3 transposition works; the machine declaring its own skeleton with one degree of freedom the
encounter is about; and the machine supplying a physical HUD-free meter. AMENDED, and the amendment
is checkable: the register rules that "a machine has no posture and no breath," and a stamp battery
HAS BOTH — its posture is the count of stems at the top of their lift, readable in black fill, and
its breath is the boiler's vent period. The register's rule should be narrowed from all machines to
ASPERIODIC machines, or restated as "a machine's posture and breath are mechanical states rather than
bodily ones, and a sheet must name which member carries each." The registry lane owns neither edit;
the doctrine lane does.
§5's test asks for "a moveset it chooses from, a space it owns, a state it escalates into." This row
owns its space absolutely (it IS the arena) and escalates into a named state (tightened vent
timings), and it does not CHOOSE anything, because the kit rules it the one adversary in the slice
with no intention at all and the registry rules it intelligence_tier = feral on the ladder's
honest floor. The sheet's answer is in §6 — the agency lives in the problem space rather than in the
subject — and the test should say so in its own terms rather than leaving each machine sheet to
argue it, because the arc's mills, pumps, presses and siege engines will all arrive here. The
doctrine lane owns the edit.
escalation channels to the operators; in this chapter the operators are a SEPARATE ROW (BE_0013_S2)
fought in a separate beat, so this row's channels are mechanical and that row's are human. The
register assumes one encounter containing both. Two rows sharing one timing system is a shape the
doctrine has not met, and the chapter has three of them.
mesh_tags.morphology EMPTY on this row, and this sheet is what fills it. The census that ordered this leg measured that the bestiary sheet's base_species block is the only surface on the boss
registry answering skeleton, member count, stance and resting silhouette, and this row is the case
that proves it: seven canon surfaces were read for this id and not one of them names a member. §2 is
the demand table's answer, and the registry lane owns the write.
hitzone_parts EMPTY — the same MACHINERY meaning BE_0009_S1 recorded, now on a second row andtherefore no longer a one-off. Two rows, one meaning, and the column still cannot distinguish it from
the six others the doctrine enumerated. The registry side stays boarded.
BLOCKER, and the region page already lists it as a deep-research target [south_africa.md § 16]. The
encounter is buildable now on this sheet's declared configuration. What the acquisition would change
is the configuration itself — stamp count per frame, drop order, feed arrangement, the compound's
real layout — which is §2 and nothing else. §6 and §7 stand whatever it says.
BE_0009_S1 NAMED, arriving asecond time. Cable under tension, a compliant member that parts and whips, and a driven assembly whose
state is exposed to the encounter as a value are physics work rather than animation work, and nothing
in the current wave list owns them. Two authored encounters in two chapters now depend on the same
unowned system, which is the argument for building it once and amortising it across every mill, pump,
press, siege engine and vessel in the arc.
rules the machinery authored as a timing system before it is authored as a mesh because three
encounters read from it [south_africa.md § 17]; those three are BE_0013_S1, BE_0013_S2 and
BE_0013.P3. Nothing in the registry expresses "these rows share a clock," and if the three are built
by three lanes the chapter's single best idea dies quietly.
phase_voice_array EMPTY on a row whose phase voice is a MACHINE PITCH rather than a voice, which isthe fifth consecutive chapter in which this column turns out to belong to something other than a
boss's mouth.
T0_Boss_Attack_Rail carries 0 rows, so the twelve abilities in the kit and the five tell shapes herehave no rail row to land on.
