STATUS: PROPOSAL-TIER design sheet. It is Chapter 10's ONLY strike-primary encounter and the only one
in the chapter with a real body in it, which makes it structurally load-bearing far beyond its own
beat: BE_0010's HL_0080 ruling depends on this row existing as a genuine combat layer, so an
encounter thinned here breaks a hard line somewhere else. It carries TWO bodies, both live
T0_Creature_Roster rows, and § 2 briefs both to mesh grain because no other surface in the corpus
does. It cites canon rows and writes none.

THE BODY IS FIXED BY CANON AND IS NOT THIS SHEET'S TO CHOOSE. The region page states it in prose the
boss index never carries: "BE_0010_S2, the Olduvai Deep-Time Fauna-Guardian, is a territorial
spotted-hyena clan or a lone Cape buffalo, answered with Earth Grip's restraining stone tendrils or a
side-evade and split at a chokepoint, and the guardian withdraws rather than being hunted"
[rift_valley.md § 3 L239-L243]. The spine says the same at beat grain [CH_10 L115]. Both bodies are
rowed: CR_0067 African buffalo *Syncerus caffer* and CR_0059 Spotted hyena *Crocuta crocuta*, both
chapter_first_encounter CH_10, both region_native rift_valley.
THE "OR" AND HOW THIS SHEET READS IT, stated rather than resolved silently. Canon offers two bodies
with an "or", and then the row's own counters cell requires BOTH at once: "brace the charge with
Stone Skin or a side-evade; split a flanking clan with a chokepoint or a warning-off." A charge to
brace and a clan to split are not the same animal's grammar. The staging this sheet builds is
therefore the one the counters cell already implies and the kit independently reached — ONE LARGE BODY
HOLDING THE LINE WITH A CLAN WORKING THE EDGES — and the alternative reading the "or" also permits, a
clan alone with no bull, is NOT built here and is boarded in § 9 as a registry-lane ambiguity rather
than decided by a proposal.
years, which is the real species' real life stage and the reason he is standing in a ravine alone.
mature bull; horn = bone core under a keratin sheath; cervical chain of 7, short and deep, with the
anterior thoracic neural spines built tall into a withers that anchors the nuchal ligament carrying
the head's weight; 13 thoracic with rib pairs; 6 lumbar; 5 fused sacral; caudal chain of about 18 to
a tufted tip; two limb pairs, each foot two weight-bearing digits in hoof with two dewclaws behind;
no clavicle, so the forelimb is slung to the trunk in muscle and the shoulder is the shock absorber
the whole charge passes through.
line; vertical from muzzle-on-the-ground to about 45 degrees up, and the low end of that range is
the charge posture rather than a grazing pose; carpus and tarsus hinge in the sagittal plane only,
with lateral play under about 5 degrees, which is why he cannot corner and why the arena's width is
the fight; horn sweep is fixed bone and has no ROM at all, which matters because it makes the head a
rigid presented surface rather than a weapon he aims.
kilograms over a shoulder height near one and a half metres, with the centre of mass forward over
the shoulders; the standing stance is square and broadside, which is a threat display and not a rest;
the gaits are a four-beat walk, a trot, and a straight-line gallop with a turning arc wide enough
that the gorge's own narrows beat him (EG_0136, CONSTRICTION).
the boss squared across the forehead line and the horns dropping and sweeping back up. He reads as a
boulder in the descent line until the head moves, which is the encounter's opening read.
individual carries the identity.
adductors, and a short deep mandible carrying enlarged bone-cracking premolars; cervical 7 with the
head carried low and forward; 13 thoracic; 7 shortened lumbar; 3 fused sacral; caudal chain of about
19 to a brush; two limb pairs with the forelimbs longer than the hind, four digits per foot, blunt
non-retractile claws — the sloping back is a real proportion and not a posture.
lumbar flexion deliberately limited by the shortened lumbar chain, so the body does not gallop like
a cat and cannot change line mid-stride; the lope is the gait, tireless and slow to accelerate.
mass forward over the high shoulders; the resting stance is a stand with the head below the shoulder
line; the working gait is a lope, and the tell that matters is that they do not sprint at a target
they have not already surrounded.
forward. Against the bull's rectangle at the same camera distance the two silhouettes cannot be
confused, which is the encounter's whole legibility argument and the reason the pairing works.
THE MESH BRIEF, stated because the BOSS row BE_0010_S2 carries an EMPTY mesh_tags.morphology while
both creature rows already carry morphology: mammal. Both bodies are quadrupeds and both are
buildable from the blocks above: named joint chains, segment counts, limb pairs, declared ROM per joint, mass band,
stance, gait, resting silhouette. The guardian is an INDIVIDUAL asset with the § 4 material set on it;
the clan is a SHARED asset with per-individual variation at the coat and the ear notches and no
elevation at all. The style cell on both creature rows and on this boss row reads
realistic-ethnographic, and the chapter's material palette line confirms that
mythologically-stylized is reserved for the //gauwasi sickness-shadow alone [CH_10 L223] — so the
route here is a concept plate and an attended build of a real animal, never the photographic-wildlife
template that produced this doctrine's founding defect (§ 7).
carries folklore_behavior_substrate, folklore_attribution_source or cultural_care_register
content, no Rift tradition is asked to supply a buffalo-guardian it does not hold, and the chapter's
own combat framing routes folklore combat to the //gauwasi alone [CH_10 L59, L204]. Inventing a
gorge spirit for this row would fabricate a folklore claim in a chapter whose entire care problem is
that the corpus attests almost nothing — the citation test's most tempting failure, because a spirit
would have been easier to design than an animal.
descent and WITHDRAWS RATHER THAN BEING HUNTED [rift_valley.md L239-L243; CH_10 L115]; a charge
answered with Earth Grip's restraining stone tendrils or a side-evade, and a flanking clan split at
a chokepoint [CH_10 L115; BE_0010_S2 counters]; a second phase that tightens the charge windows
rather than adding moves [BE_0010_S2 phase_breakdown_object]; and a win that opens the descent and
yields a fauna-substrate fragment [BE_0010_S2 win_reward].
[rift_valley.md L136, L242-L243; CH_10 L115, L118, L221; BE_0010_S2 sources cell, which anchors
the constraint at HL_0049 alongside the mode-variety reading]. The beat's actor list carries the
protagonist alone and its systems line carries the sub-boss and ability:A_E_007 [CH_10 L116], so
no familiar is staged inside this fight at all; Desta guides the highland-to-valley transitions
around it [CH_10 L237].
gorgops* — is real fauna of a real past staged INSIDE the fluctuation windows, never as monsters and
never in the era-present valley [rift_valley.md L253-L258]. This row is not one of them. The word
"Deep-Time" in the canon name belongs to the GORGE — the stacked beds the descent reads — and not to
the animal, and a lane that swapped a Pleistocene body in here would have contradicted two canon
surfaces that name the modern species by name.
The region page records that this region has no zoological source at all: "nothing on this page
states how a hyena clan holds ground, how a buffalo commits to a charge, what a fish eagle's
presence tells a watcher about a shoreline" — the encounter rests on the spine's verbs and the
combat system's grammar, and the readable-behaviour layer is an acquisition target rather than an
invention [rift_valley.md L245-L252]. Every anatomical and behavioural statement in § 2 and § 6 is
therefore marked AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY: general zoological knowledge carried by this sheet as DESIGN,
never presented as a claim of any source this region holds. The acquisition is boarded in § 9, and
the sheet is written so that its arrival re-cites these lines rather than rewriting them.
it is a compiled popular biography of a twentieth-century archaeologist — useful for the gorge's
location on the eastern Serengeti margin and for the excavation history, and carrying nothing about
any animal [rift_valley.md L944-L951]. A search that matches it and returns nothing for Rift
ecology is reporting an absence rather than failing.
the crusted boss, the clay-scute shoulder plate, the three-shape charge family and its assignment of
canon's three named counters, the clan's cohesion as a part, and the withdrawal's read on the body.
ONE-LINE READ: a black bull standing across the only way down, wearing the gorge's own dried lakebed
in cracked pale plates, with a horn boss gone stone-coloured and hard.
PRIMARY — A5 AGE AND CORRUPTION STATES, and it is the axis canon hands over and nobody has spent. This
animal has stood in one ravine long enough to be a fact of it, and the sheet writes the place onto the
body. Concrete and paintable:
EG_0134 types the gorge floor as a ravine bed AND an ancient lakebed pan,and a bull wallows. The pan's sediment dries hard: it goes on wet and grey-buff and sets into a
cracked crust that follows the skin's flex lines, thickest over the shoulders and the flanks where
he lies down into it, cracking into hard-edged plates that shed and are re-laid every time he
wallows again. A black animal carrying pale angular plates reads at any distance in hard Rift
daylight, and the plates are the same colour as the section faces behind him, so he is camouflaged
standing still and unmistakable the moment he moves.
the forehead (AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY); on this individual the keratin ridges of that boss have taken up
the pan's carbonate and cemented it, so the helmet is pale, matte and mineral where the swept horn
below it is still black and polished. One head, two materials, and the split is the read.
margin, a hairless patch over the point of the shoulder where the crust never lets the coat recover,
and a rib-line visible on an animal that is nonetheless enormous.
MECHANISM, as the doctrine requires, and it is deliberately NOT a vril mechanism. The kit's class
purity is explicit — no element family, no vril affordance, this being is dangerous the way a real
animal is dangerous — and the row carries no lore ground of any kind. The mechanism here is ordinary
time and ordinary mineral: years in a carbonate-bearing lakebed pan that a wild bull with anywhere
else to go would not spend. WHAT THIS AXIS CARRIES IS THE DISTANCE READ, and the sheet is precise
about that rather than claiming more: a mud-caked buffalo is stock wildlife photography, so the crust
earns its place as the legibility element — pale angular plates on a black mass against pale section
faces — and it does not on its own answer the replica test.
THE REPLICA TEST IS ANSWERED BY THE HEAD, and it is answered twice over: the carbonate-CEMENTED boss,
pale and matte and mineral where the horn below it is black and polished, is a two-material head no
photograph of *Syncerus caffer* contains, and the A4 build under it — heavy frontals with a nuchal
ligament and withers engineered to carry them — is a structural departure from the species baseline
rather than a state laid on it. A clean-headed bull is a photograph; this animal is not.
SUPPORTING — A4 HYPERTROPHY, on the apparatus the animal already owns. The boss is real and this
design makes it STRUCTURAL and VISIBLE: the frontals under it are built heavy, the nuchal ligament and
the withers that carry them are built to match, and the consequence is a head that is a fixed
presented plate rather than a weapon he aims. The fight consequence is exact — he does not gore, he
DELIVERS THE HELMET, and a player can see that the helmet is meetable (§ 6's parry class).
SUPPORTING — A3 ARMORED AND BREAKABLE REGIONS. The crust and the boss are not decoration; they are the
part economy this row does not have yet, and § 6 gives each a threshold, an event and three
currencies.
THE CLAN CARRIES NO ELEVATION AXIS AT ALL, AND THAT IS THE DESIGN RATHER THAN AN OMISSION. The
doctrine's budget puts one primary axis on the body that carries the identity; multiplying axes onto
four flankers would produce four small chimeras and destroy the one contrast the encounter is built
on — an animal that the place has visibly changed, standing among animals it has not. The clan is
*Crocuta crocuta* at TRUE_SCALE with no addition of any kind, and the sheet declares that positively
rather than leaving the block thin.
EMISSION: NONE. Both bodies read by scattering, by the wetting-darkening of black hide where the crust
has shed, by the pale crust catching the gorge's own hard daylight, and by silhouette against the
stacked section faces. The glow test passes vacuously and deliberately.
mass reduces the neck's vertical lift at the top of its range by roughly a third against the
declared ROM, so he raises his head slowly and lowers it fast. That asymmetry is where the two
charge wind-ups in § 6 come from and it is why they are distinguishable at gameplay distance.
charge's impact is absorbed in the muscle sling of the shoulder — which is exactly why the shoulder
is a breakable region and why breaking it takes the travel out of the charge without taking the
stand out of the animal.
follow the skin's real flex lines, so it cracks where the animal bends and stays whole where it does
not; plates shed at a declared size and leave a wet-dark patch of hide with a hard edge. It changes
the animal's ROM nowhere and its READ everywhere.
shift before the head moves — a free early telegraph that costs no animation and works when the
animal is out of frame.
delta would get, is a SPACING RULE: the flankers hold a declared standoff from the player and from
each other, they close that standoff only in the P2 commit, and the standoff is the animated
quantity. A clan whose spacing does not read is the encounter's silent failure mode, exactly as an
unarticulated seam is on a composite body.
EG_0133 carries D4_AVALANCHE;D9_HURL and material:loose_stone with enemy_usable TRUE, so the bull driving the player onto the section
face is the row's own affordance rather than a staged event, and the player can bring the same face
down on the charge lane. EG_0138, the rim bench above, is hard_blocked with HL_0001;HL_0109 and
is never dug, damaged or used.
VERBS ARE STRIKE AND EVADE, axis 45/20/35, Patterns-and-Preparation, two phases: the territorial stand,
then the withdrawal once the descent line is won. The row's counters, verbatim: brace the charge with
Stone Skin or a side-evade; split a flanking clan with a chokepoint or a warning-off. The spine adds a
third named answer at beat grain: Earth Grip's restraining stone tendrils [CH_10 L115].
THE STRUCTURAL IDEA: IT IS NOT HUNTING THE PLAYER; THE PLAYER IS IN ITS WAY, AND THE ENCOUNTER IS
ABOUT WHETHER THEY NEED TO BE. The opener is a stand that does nothing. Everything that follows is the
animal answering a decision the player made.
THE ONE-ANSWER FIX THIS SHEET SUPPLIES, and it is the sheet's most load-bearing paragraph. KIT_BE_0010_S2
ability 3 states in terms that its charge carries two counter classes — "Braced rather than dodged is a
real option and the row names it. Two answers, both true." That is the doctrine's ONE-ANSWER TEST
failing on the face of the file, and the fix does not require dropping either canon counter, because
canon supplies THREE named answers and the charge is really THREE SHAPES. Each canon answer is
assigned to exactly one shape, and each shape is distinguished by a body fact the player can see:
| tell shape | body origin | one answer | counter class worn on the body |
|---|---|---|---|
| THE STAND (the opener) — he occupies the line and does not advance | the whole body planted square and broadside across the descent | none is needed; it is free, and it is the encounter asking a question | the free lesson |
| THE HEAD LOWER — the head drops below the shoulder line, the feet stay planted, there is no run-up | neck and withers dropping into the delivery posture at close range | side-evade; there is no ground to take and no run to arrest, so the answer is to not be in front of it | dodge |
| THE HELMET — he squares up and comes forward a body length with the boss leading, head held at the bottom of its range | the fused boss delivered as a rigid presented plate, mass passing through the withers | brace it: Stone Skin against the one contact surface in the encounter that is visibly meetable | parry |
| THE SIGHTING CHARGE — he goes silent, the head comes UP to sight the line, and then the whole mass travels | the entire animal committed straight down the gorge floor, turning arc wider than the ravine | Earth Grip's restraining stone tendrils, taking the FLOOR rather than meeting the animal — the spine's own named answer, and the chapter's own newly unlocked ability | elemental-neutralize, the material gathered from the lakebed pan under his feet and visibly in frame |
| THE TIGHTENED CHARGE (P2) — the same sighting, already inside the run-up | the row's escalation_vector = tighten_telegraph: the same shape with the distance removed | the chokepoint: put EG_0136's narrows between the player and the lane, because at this range neither a brace nor a step exists | cover / arena |
| THE FLANKER PROBE — one shape breaks from the wall and stops halfway | a single hyena testing the player's rear, at the clan's declared standoff | turn and hold; the probe retreats from a player who has seen it, and chasing it is how the clan wins | positional |
| THE CLAN COMMIT (P2) — the shapes at the wall move at the SAME moment | the stagger that has run all fight stopping | the warning-off: put the player between the flankers and the bull and let him displace his own attendants, which is the row's second named counter and which he does himself | neutralize / third party |
NO SHAPE CARRIES TWO ANSWERS. The three charge-family shapes are distinguished by two visible facts —
whether the head goes DOWN or UP, and whether the feet travel — and the player learns both in the
first phase for free. THE CROSS-CREATURE LESSON IS NAMED: head-down-and-planted means meet it,
head-up-and-travelling means take the ground away, and that pairing is the arc's first teaching of the
difference between a delivered surface and a committed mass.
EARTH GRIP HAS NO HOME IN THE KIT AND CANON GIVES IT ONE HERE. A_E_007 Earth Grip is the chapter's
unlocked ability, anchored at Ch 10 by unlock_chapter_ref and named in the beat's own systems line
and objective as the answer to the charge [CH_10 L115-L116, L233]. KIT_BE_0010_S2 never mentions it.
This sheet gives it the sighting charge, which is the only shape in the encounter that a restraining
tendril answers better than a step, and § 9 boards the omission for the kit lane.
BREAKABLE PARTS — TWO HOMES, DECLARED BY NAME PER DOCTRINE § 2.4, AND ONE OF THEM IS NEW.
cent on the animal, pale on black at the front of the profile. BREAK EVENT: the cemented crust
shears off the boss in plates and the black polished horn under it is bare and wet-looking, a
colour inversion at the head visible at twenty metres without a HUD. SUBTRACTION: THE HELMET
leaves the live moveset permanently — he stops presenting a surface he can feel is gone.
LEGIBILITY GAIN: with one charge shape retired, the head-up sighting becomes the only travel he
has and the player re-reads a simpler animal. MATERIAL: the shed crust is worthless and the sheet
says so; the horn itself is a kill-route drop and is priced below.
a section of plate shears away and hangs, then drops, leaving a hard-edged patch of wet black
hide. SUBTRACTION: the scree push — driving the player onto the section face — leaves the live set,
because the shoulder he leans into it with is bare. LEGIBILITY GAIN: the profile narrows and the
animal's real bulk becomes readable for the first time. MATERIAL THE ECONOMY WANTS, and it is the
row's own: the shed plate is a slab of dated lakebed sediment, and win_reward on this row is
already "opens the stratigraphic descent and a FAUNA-SUBSTRATE FRAGMENT" — so the fragment has a
body, it is taken from a part rather than from a corpse, and the non-kill route yields it.
eight. The part is THE CLAN'S WILLINGNESS TO KEEP COMING. It is not a region of a body, not
equipment, not machinery, not architecture, not a surface, not restorative and not state, and it is
not the human register's TOOLS because an animal pack carries none. Measured, per the VEHICLE
precedent, in fractions of the ARENA rather than of a creature: the flankers occupy roughly a fifth
of the frame's edges at the shipped combat camera and that fraction is the readout. BREAK THRESHOLD:
flankers driven off or displaced past a count. BREAK EVENT: the shapes at the wall stop being
replaced. SUBTRACTION: the probe and the commit both leave the live set. LEGIBILITY GAIN: the arena
edges go quiet and the encounter narrows to one animal, which is the fight the player wanted.
MATERIAL: nothing is harvested from the flankers — they are scavengers and they leave.
ESCALATION on the four channels, obeying tighten_telegraph:
display and the square is a commitment, and the difference is legible in silhouette alone.
blowing is a large animal that has stopped negotiating.
have committed before the flankers move (AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY).
asks the question.
THE OPENER AND ITS VARIANTS: the root is THE STAND, the most legible and least punishing thing in the
encounter, and every dangerous move is a recognisable variant of it — the same planted body with the
head dropped (the head lower), the same body with a body-length of travel added (the helmet), and the
same body with the whole ravine of travel added (the sighting charge). A player who learned the root
reads all three.
CHAIN AND NON-KILL STATE. The row carries win_condition REDUCE and its designed outcome is a
WITHDRAWAL, but no has_nonkill_path, pip_count or pip_reveal_threshold cell is populated (§ 9).
The body carries the progress instead and it is HUD-free: as the encounter is won he gives ground up
the gorge in measurable steps, the flankers thin from the walls, and the head turns away first. The
player can see the withdrawal arriving without looking at a meter.
RELOCATION AND TURF: he ENTERS by already holding the ground. He RELOCATES only along the line he is
defending. He LEAVES up the gorge, alive, if the player lets him — and the descent line is WON rather
than cleared, which is the row's own sentence. What he does to the arena is make the descent a
negotiation instead of a route.
THE KILL ROUTE IS REAL AND IS PRICED HONESTLY, not punished. Killing him is available; the hide, the
meat and the horn are real materials the economy wants; and taking them means the withdrawal never
happens, which is a stated cost rather than an integrity tax. No ws.integrity_score write hangs on
this beat.
terms — ORDINARY_FAUNA carries no collective claim at all, hunting a game animal touches nothing of
the collective protection, and a lane must not re-apply collective protection to game animals. No
community is cast as anything by this encounter, and the chapter's protected peoples are nowhere
near the target position: combat routes only to the //gauwasi, permitted fauna, and the
protagonist's own trial [CH_10 L59, L204].
sites — the region page's own care note derives the page's HIGH register from
cultural_depiction_compliance, consistency_risk_tier and the four boss rows together
[rift_valley.md L29-L37] — and the zone this fight happens in is protected false, `care_tier
standard [rift_valley.md` L70]. Reading the chapter's tier onto the animal would be care-tier
inflation, which the doctrine names a defect; the kit already refused it and this sheet holds the
refusal.
design, never player agency: the withdrawal exists, the kill exists, and neither hardens into an
animal that cannot be killed.
not obvious from the row. HL_0080 requires that the non-damage environmental protocol is never a
chapter's sole combat layer, and BE_0010's sheet answers that clause by naming THIS row — a
strike-primary permitted-fauna encounter with win_condition REDUCE — as the chapter's real combat
layer. HL_0051 sits behind it: combat absence is creatively fatal, and a protected chapter keeps
its playable layer rather than losing it to care. A defanged S2 would break both clauses in a
chapter that otherwise has no fight in it at all.
(1) IS A GUARDIAN THAT WITHDRAWS A DEFANG? The devil's-advocate reading: a boss the player is
encouraged not to kill is a boss the game is protecting, and this chapter's whole reputation is
encounters force cannot touch. RULED NO, on canon and on design. The withdrawal is the ROW's
designed outcome and not a softening this sheet applied; the kill route is fully available with real
material; and the design ADDS rather than removes — a part economy with three currencies, a lethal
charge family, an arena the animal uses against the player, and a clan that punishes a player who
chases. The defang tell is a PASSIVE opponent, and nothing here is passive: he holds ground, he
escalates, he displaces his own attendants, and he is genuinely dangerous throughout.
(2) SHOULD THE ANIMAL HAVE BEEN PROTECTED BECAUSE THE CHAPTER IS HIGH-CARE? Examined and REFUSED as
the inflation case above. The one protection that IS canon here is specific and narrow and is held
absolutely: never the bonded wolf Desta, and never a San person, ever.
(3) SHOULD THE ELEVATION HAVE GONE FURTHER — a Pleistocene body, a vril-touched animal, a scale
band? REFUSED, and canon refuses it first: two surfaces name the modern species, the deep-time
megafauna register is explicitly held inside the fluctuation windows, and the kit's class purity
rules out a vril mechanism. The doctrine's own note applies exactly — TIMID here would mean
BORING-PHYSICAL, never insufficiently magical — so the boldness was spent on the material and the
part economy instead, which is where a real animal can carry it.
This is the highest-risk row in the chapter for that defect, because the subjects are real African
megafauna and the style cell says realistic-ethnographic, which is one careless prompt away from
the anatomically-accurate-photographic-wildlife brief that produced a documentary lizard for a boss.
The elevation in § 4 is what a plate must carry, and a plate that shows a clean animal has failed.
plate, the healed history, the three-shape charge family and its assignment of canon's three
counters, the spacing rule, the crust's sound, and the COHESION part are INVENTED BY THIS SHEET as
the game's own design for one individual animal and one clan. They are not claimed as anything any
source says about either species. The species, their staging, the withdrawal, the counters, the
chokepoint, the tightened windows and the fauna-substrate fragment are CITED; the anatomy is marked

individual carrying the § 4 material set, composed in daylight the scene already has, and the
judging question on Plate A is whether the animal in it could be mistaken for wildlife reference.
has_nonkill_path IS EMPTY on BE_0010_S2 while both canon surfaces state the guardian WITHDRAWSRATHER THAN BEING HUNTED and the row's own phase text carries the withdrawal as phase two
[rift_valley.md L136; CH_10 L115; BE_0010_S2 phase_breakdown_object]. Every other boss row in
this chapter carries TRUE. The withdrawal is the row's designed non-kill outcome and the column
cannot see it.
pip_count and pip_reveal_threshold ARE EMPTY while § 6 describes a readable progress state. Ifthe withdrawal is ever typed as a chain, this is its row.
hitzone_parts IS EMPTY while this row carries TWO homes, BODY and COHESION. § 6 is their content;break thresholds belong to the tuning instrument and not to this sheet.
ontology_class AND combat_permission ARE EMPTY on CR_0067 and CR_0059 while the //gauwasirow beside them carries CONDEMNED and FOLKLORE_FACED. Harmless today, load-bearing the moment a lane
routes generation or permission off the class.
instance. A group's willingness to keep coming, measured in arena fractions, with all three
currencies intact and no body region, no tool and no surface behind it. Every pack, clan and
flanking role-set in the arc is a candidate inheritor. THE NEAREST EXISTING TREATMENT THE DOCTRINE
LANE MUST WEIGH THIS AGAINST is § 3A.2's crew clause, which already routes a group's collective
behaviour — "work-calls, visible fatigue, the decision to stop working, the moment the relay chain
breaks and men start shouting past each other" — to the ESCALATION CHANNELS rather than to the part
economy, whose home there is TOOLS. The question this row puts to the lane is therefore channel
versus part: a crew has tools to break and an animal clan has none, so either cohesion is a ninth
home or the crew clause's channel treatment covers it and this row's three currencies belong
somewhere else. THE DOCTRINE LANE OWNS THE EDIT.
KIT_BE_0010_S2 ability 3 states "Two answers, bothtrue", which fails the doctrine's ONE-ANSWER TEST on the face of the file. § 6 supplies a split that
keeps every canon counter and passes the test, and it deletes nothing from the kit. THE KIT LANE
OWNS THE EDIT.
A_E_007 Earth Grip is anchored at Ch 10 and named in the beat objective as the answer to the charge; KIT_BE_0010_S2 does
not mention it. § 6 gives it the sighting charge. THE KIT LANE OWNS THE EDIT.
lone Cape buffalo" and the counters cell needs both a charge and a clan. This sheet builds the
both-bodies staging and does not build the clan-only variant. If the encounter should be one or the
other, that is a registry-lane decision and it changes which creature row is identity-bearing.
rift_valley.md § 3's rowed-fauna list runs CR_0047, CR_0051, CR_0056 through CR_0065 and does NOT include CR_0067 African buffalo — the
row the page's very next paragraph relies on when it names a lone Cape buffalo as the guardian
[rift_valley.md L232-L243]. The row exists and is correctly tagged; the list omits it.
T0_Boss_Attack_Rail CARRIES 0 ROWS. Seven tell shapes wait here, and this is the chapter's onlyencounter whose shapes are ordinary body origins the rail was designed for.
large-mammal behaviour. It blocks the readable-behaviour layer under this encounter and is the
reason every behavioural line above is marked AUTHORIAL_ANATOMY. It sits below the Ju|'hoansi buy in
the page's ranking and above nothing else in this chapter [rift_valley.md L245-L252, L1048-L1050].
census recorded class B as no roster name resolving in this row's name-bearing fields, which is true
of the string fauna and false of the encounter: the bodies are rowed at CR_0067 and CR_0059
and the region page fixes them in prose at rift_valley.md L239-L243, outside the boss-index bullet
span the T2 class scoped. The census's two archetype-band hits on this row are both
FALSE ADJACENCIES rather than body evidence — the token eagle at CH_10 L98 sits in the sentence
naming the AMBIENT set that is explicitly NOT this guardian, and the token wolf at
rift_valley.md L136 is the negative clause "never the bonded wolf Desta", the one animal this
encounter may not be.
