Epilogue — The Unseen Reader: The Journal on the Table, the Pages Turning, the Record Carried On
Story Spine entry, v3.1 beat→fork→state event graph (docs/SPINE_SCHEMA_v3.md), restructured in place from the v2.5 cascade build (authored to docs/proposals/CHAPTER_BUILD_TARGET.md and the v2.5 twenty-block anchor-hub schema), spine_status drafted. The v2.5 anchors, prose, source-anchor provenance, and reveal discipline are preserved; v3 re-shapes the site/boss/beat/side-quest/scene/state blocks into the typed machine layer (join-and-type — no new canon authored). Grounded on the RCM Epilogue substrate ("Epilogue — The Unseen Reader," the closing canonical bookend, post-Ch-77), the canonical unseen-reader frame (T3_Core §3.14 — the healer's child's journal open on a table; an unseen reader turns the pages; fade to black), the shared-finale lock (HL_0045 + CVD §17.9 + T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master §9.6 — all three endings share the epilogue), the finale enrichment framework (docs/proposals/FINALE_FAIRY_ENRICHMENT.md, the Epilogue brief), and a build-time craft-research pass (the framed-narrative / found-manuscript / reader-in-the-text device; the coda that lives-forward-without-restating; ring composition to the Prologue; the deliberately-unresolved held final image; the record-as-testament that outlives the writer and is read by another). This IS a hard-line node (canonical_hard_line_flag TRUE — the Epilogue is in the eighteen-node set). THE EPILOGUE IS THE SHARED, PATH-INVARIANT FRAME: it renders ONLY the unseen-reader journal bookend, IDENTICAL across the Truly Good, Good Enough, and Evil Finales (HL_0045); the single path-variance is the COMPLETENESS of the journal (full on the surviving paths, incomplete/partial on the Evil path — the same frame still plays). Path-variant Epilogue content is NOT authored (CVD §17.9 + T1_Integrity §9.6 + HL_0045); the three distinct Finales and the twenty-second-familiar-slot outcome are resolved UPSTREAM (the Ch 65 convergence lock + Ch 58; HL_0011/HL_0066), never re-litigated here. THE THESIS IS NOT RE-DECLARED: Ch 77 surfaced it exactly once; the Epilogue LIVES it forward (the record survives, and is read by another) and never restates it — the locked thesis phrasing stays off-page (HL_0043/§18.1). The unseen reader's identity is the last held thing — never named, never captioned. The antagonist is absent (T4 §10.5). Standard care, game-canon narrative-frame; no living Earth community and no Earth-cultural primary-source corpus (the framed-record traditions are craft-reference, echoed never lifted). Drafted is not canonical.
Entry header (schema per §9.5)
chapter_id CH_EPILOGUE; region the closing frame — a table with the healer's child's journal open upon it (the location of the surrounding scene varies per Finale and is resolved upstream, but the frame the Epilogue renders is the journal and the unseen reader, path-invariant); a narrative-frame bookend rather than a traversed place [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_EPILOGUE] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
region_chapter_set — the closing canonical bookend of the seventy-seven-chapter arc, post-Ch-77: the unseen-reader frame (the journal open on a table, an unseen reader turning the pages, fade to black), shared identically across all three Finales; a low-intensity valley coda, not combat-absent (the post-reveal endgame free-play and the Magister Templi prestige loop are the playable layer) [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
biome_primary the closing table and the open journal — a still, warm, resolving register; the record of the whole journey lying open, the pages turning under an unseen hand; climate post-arc, atemporal; the last light of the telling [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
era post-arc closing scene — outside the arc's chronology; the frame the game holds after the thesis has landed (Ch 77), the metaphysic now the air openly, lived not withheld, but the thesis never re-declared [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
operational type CLOSING NARRATIVE-FRAME BOOKEND (no person to defeat, no combat encounter, no fail state) — the shared unseen-reader frame plus the post-reveal endgame free-play and the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige-loop entry as the playable coda; the arc's ring closing back toward the Prologue [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
canonical_hard_line_flag TRUE — a hard-line node (the eighteen-node set; the closing bookend). The binding constraints: the frame is SHARED and path-invariant (HL_0045 + CVD §17.9); path-variant content is NOT authored (T1_Integrity §9.6); the thesis is not re-declared and the locked phrasing stays off-page (HL_0043/§18.1); the unseen reader is held/uncaptioned; the antagonist is absent (T4 §10.5) [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0045] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
prev_chapter_link CH_77 (The Waterfall: the Revelation — the summit reached, the circle closed); next_chapter_link CH_PROLOGUE (the fairy origin — the ring's other side; built next, read first) [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_EPILOGUE].
hard_line_binding — the eighteen-node hard-line set (the closing bookend); §17.9 the shared path-invariant frame, no path-variant content authored, the thesis not re-declared (HL_0045/HL_0043/§18.1); the antagonist absent (HL_0108/T4 §10.5); the three Finales + the twenty-second-slot outcome resolved upstream (Ch 65 lock, HL_0011/HL_0066) [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0045] [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 9.6].
Continuity anchor (SSBL §9.3 — Epilogue start state = Ch 77 end state)
The arc is complete: the summit reached and the circle closed (Ch 77) — the reveal received, the ring of the first vril mechanic shut, the whole seventy-seven-chapter journey resolved; the ending path locked (Ch 65) and carried into the Epilogue as the path-invariant close [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.5].
The record: the healer's child's journal — the shared record of the whole journey (the protagonist plus the healer's child, two perspectives on the same events, neither authoritative, together the full record; T3_Core §3.13) — lies open on the table, COMPLETE on the surviving paths and INCOMPLETE/partial on the Evil path (the single path-variance the frame carries; the frame plays either way) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.13] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Companions and the twenty-second slot: the found-family carried per the Ch-65 resolution; the healer's child (CHAR_0002) the journal's co-author; the twenty-second-familiar-slot OUTCOME resolved upstream (the Ch 58 reunion, refined at the Ch 65 Familiar's Choice — Truly Good the familiar rejoins as legendary companion, Good Enough the binding-stone gift, Evil the defeat-and-take; T3_Familiars §5.8/§5.X) and NOT an Epilogue beat; the father's "I was consulting myself" gloss was delivered ONCE at the Ch-77 summit (§8.11, on the paths where the King survives) — the Epilogue carries its resonance as already-landed context, never re-rendered (the surrounding Finale scene varies upstream, not in the shared frame) [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 8.11].
Mastery and endgame: the full vril ceiling sustained; Ch 77 completion GATES the post-Ch-77 Magister Templi Tier-9 Hermetic prestige questline (HL_0029 + CVD §17.5 — Tier-9 mastery available only after Main Story Ch 77) — the endgame free-play the Epilogue opens onto [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029] [SRC: T0_Ability_Tree_Registry @ A_C_001].
Body prose
The book is open on a table, and the pages are turning.
It is the journal — the one begun a whole life ago in a far country, in a child's careful hand and then in two, the two of them writing the same road from either side of it; the record of everything, kept honest, kept close, carried across every border and every water and every year. The cover is soft with handling, the spine cracked and sewn again, the paper swollen along one edge where a river got at it once and dried. Pressed flat between some of the pages are the things a hand reached for when words were not enough — a leaf, a rubbing taken off a carved stone, a flower gone to paper. It lies open now in the still light, and its pages move, one and then the next, unhurried, the way pages move when someone is reading them who means to read them all.
On the paths where the road was walked whole, the record is whole: every country, every kindness, every hard choice met and paid for, the evidence the world was worth returning to save. On the path where things were let fall, the record is thinner — pages that stop before they should, entries that trail off — and still it is read, still the hand turns what there is to turn, because even the partial telling is a telling, and even the broken road was walked by someone, and the someone is in the book.
Nobody explains what it means. It was understood once already, at the water, in a single wordless look that needed no second saying. A record of a life outlasts the living of it, and is taken up by another, and goes on. That much is simply true, the way the ground is true underfoot.
Whose hand turns the pages is not shown, and is not meant to be. The reader is unseen — a presence at the edge of the frame, attending, receiving, carrying the record forward into whatever comes next. It could be anyone. It could be the one who lived it, come back to read their own road. It could be the next to walk one. The frame holds the question open the way the water held the face open, and leaves it there.
The pages turn to the last written page, and past it, and the light on the table softens, and the reading goes on past where the seeing can follow, and it fades — gently, completely — to black. The road that began with a fall through the world ends with a book left open for someone to find, and a hand, unseen, already turning toward the first page again.
Threads resolving (terminal — the coda)
The six Major threads — the canonical Majors 1-6, universally tracked and unified at the waterfall (Thread 1 Vril-Parallels, Thread 2 Serpent, Thread 3 Antagonist, Thread 4 Flood Memory, Thread 5 World-Axis, Thread 6 Dying-Rising) — RESOLVED at Ch 77 at framework register; the Epilogue advances no thread — it is the coda after the resolution, and the specific resolution content is canonically withheld from the corpus layer (T1_Threads_22 Resolution framing rule + CVD §15/§18) [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 5] [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
The one live element of the coda is the RECORD — the healer's-child journal arc (begun Ch 13, the shared-voice record across Ch 59-77, the Ch-74 evidence, the Ch-76 offering to the father) reaching its terminal station: the record survives the telling and is read by another. This is the arc's closing motion, not a numbered thread's advance — the journal-as-testament, the last thing carried [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.13] [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
Coverage note — the Epilogue is a post-resolution bookend: no new grid anchors, the six Major threads (1-6) terminal at Ch 77, and the Minor Thread 20 (Sacred Objects — the Tomb-Artifact resonance chain) reaching its own terminal station at the waterfall; the framework-level convergence complete, the coda living it forward without re-stating it [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 5].
Civilizational marks (the builders-of-knowledge layer, §9.5 mandatory)
The record that outlives the writer — the deep human tradition of the written testament that survives its author and is read by another: the diary and the archive as the thing that carries a life across the gap of its ending, the record taken up by a later hand and continued; honored as the readable frame behind a close whose whole force is that a life's record persists and passes on [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [SRC: SIGNIFICANCE_LENSES].
The framed tale and the reader within it — the old craft of the found manuscript and the reader-in-the-text (the outer frame left unclosed so the meaning passes to the one actually reading), and of ring composition (a close that rhymes with the opening to make the circle whole) — honored as the craft the Epilogue is built in: an unseen reader at the edge of the frame, a book left open, a ring closing back toward the Prologue [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [SRC: FINALE_FAIRY_ENRICHMENT].
The chapter's own civilizational mark — a proposition about endings: that the deepest truths are not restated but lived forward; that a record honestly kept is worth more than a conclusion loudly drawn; that a story's true close is not a full stop but a page turned by the next reader; and that even a partial, broken record is a record, and is worth the reading [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [SRC: FINALE_FAIRY_ENRICHMENT].
Everything-woven (the twelve facets, each a real presence, none name-checked)
Combat is present but off-frame, by design — the Epilogue's rendered frame is the unseen-reader bookend (no boss, no fight, no fail state), but it is NOT combat-absent (Pillar 11): it opens onto the post-reveal endgame free-play — the healed-or-unhealed realm to roam and the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige loop unlocked (HL_0029), the game's full kit still live for the player who continues [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
Exploration is the endgame realm — the post-reveal fairy realm (healed on the generative paths, less so on the corrosive) open to roam, the arc's world available after the story; and the frame's own small still space, the table and the open book [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
Discovery (the record read to its end and past it; the ring closing back toward the beginning); puzzles (none — the Epilogue is the opposite of a puzzle: nothing to solve, the understanding already complete); mystery (the one held mystery is the unseen reader's identity, given no answer, held open with care) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Lore (the framed-record and reader-in-the-text traditions as the craft-frame; the ring-composition to the Prologue — reference, echoed never lifted); trades (the perception and inscription disciplines carried, the reading of the record the last application); gathering (the whole journey gathered into a single open book) [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
Side quests (the endgame free-play: all twelve side-questlines available in the post-story sandbox); engineering (the record-as-testament and framed-narrative craft credited as reference); folklore (the changeling/return motifs that the Prologue-Ch-1 origin pays off are echoed here as the ring's far side, never lifted); superstition (precisely what the Epilogue refuses — the unseen reader is not a ghost or an omen to be explained, only a presence attending; the identity held, never captioned) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Key sites and spatial layout
Typed v3.1 site rows (§3b) — beats reference these by site_id; the environmental detail rides each row as env texture. The Epilogue's own header holds that this is "a narrative-frame bookend rather than a traversed place," so both rows below carry the corpus's established placeholder terrain for a non-Earth, non-fixed dimensional frame (matching CH_PROLOGUE's flowering_plain/veil_seam precedent) rather than asserting a physical geography the v2.5 entry never gives it [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
env: the closing frame the chapter actually renders — a table, the healer's-child journal open upon it, still warm light, the pages turning under an unseen hand; the surrounding scene's specific backdrop varies per Finale and is resolved upstream, never fixed here (per the Entry header); a threshold between the story and its endgame, and between a life and its being carried forward by another; hosts CHEPI_B01 through CHEPI_B07; L1/L2/L3.
env: the post-reveal fairy realm reopened as the endgame sandbox, healed on the generative paths and less so on the corrosive; the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige-loop threshold (HL_0029) rides here as an unlock available in this space, not a separate terrain of its own; hosts CHEPI_B08; L1.
The Magister Templi prestige threshold rides the post_reveal_realm env rather than a site row of its own — it is a system-unlock (the Tier-9 Hermetic prestige questline entry), not a terrain, carried by CHEPI_B08 [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
The ring to the Prologue rides the journal_frame_table env and CHEPI_B07 rather than a site row of its own — it is a purely thematic ring-composition device (L3), not a spatial site: the closing image (a book left open, a hand turning toward the first page again) rhymes with the Prologue's opening, the bookend built next and read first [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
Boss structure (§9 thin join index — phases are beats; the narrative lives in the beat graph)
The Epilogue has no boss, no fight, and no fail state (antagonist-absent, T4 §10.5; the arc's conflicts all resolved by Ch 77) — Pillar-8's blended-mode contract does not apply to a non-combat frame, but the node is NOT combat-absent (Pillar 11): it opens onto the post-reveal endgame free-play and the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige loop (HL_0029), the game's full kit still live for the player who continues [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
BE_EPILOGUE "The Unseen Reader" (no boss-adversary; the shared, path-invariant closing frame) · primary WITNESS · secondary CONTINUE · axis 0/40/60 · phases [P1→CHEPI_B06] · win {the record read and carried forward, the arc complete; the endgame free-play and the Magister Templi Tier-9 Hermetic prestige loop open, HL_0029} · death {no fail state — there is no death branch at the Epilogue; the frame plays on every path, the journal partial not absent on Evil} [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_EPILOGUE]
single-phase note: the registry's four-beat phase_breakdown (the reveal settled, the journal opens, the pages turn, fade to black) is the chapter arc, not combat phases — "a single closing frame, no phase-swap, no fail state"; it lives as the beat graph CHEPI_B01→CHEPI_B07, with the boss ref carried at the frame's own closing beat (CHEPI_B06) rather than invented as a multi-phase fight [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_EPILOGUE].
sub-encounters: none in the frame — the endgame sandbox carries whatever the player chooses to engage (the prestige loop, the realm), none of it story-gating [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
ambient threats: none — no adversary exists in the closing frame; nothing hunts here [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
antagonist network node: NONE — the House of Velheim arc is closed (Cassius resolved Ch 76, the Architect terminated Ch 69); the antagonist is absent from the close [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.5].
reveal binding: nothing exists to bind — the reveal was released exactly once, at Ch 77; the Epilogue lives it forward and carries no reveal-binding of its own beyond the thesis-not-restated discipline typed at CHEPI_B04 [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].

Thread-join note: all seven threads carried this chapter (T01/T02/T03/T04/T05/T06/T20) resolve at chapter-ambient level only — the Epilogue advances no thread (it is the coda after the Ch-77 resolution, the specific content canonically withheld per the T1_Threads_22 Resolution framing rule + CVD §15/§18) — no carrier beat exists for any of them or is invented.
§10b · Fork graph (zero fork nodes — the frame is shared and path-invariant, HL_0045; the three-path divergence resolved upstream at Ch 65)
The Epilogue generates no new integrity divergence and authors no player-facing fork: HL_0045 + CVD §17.9 + T1_Integrity §9.6 all bind the SAME shared frame across the Truly Good, Good Enough, and Evil endings, and the ending path itself was already locked at Ch 65 [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 9.6]. Per the schema's micro-fork promotion rule (§3c — any branch writing durable state must be a fork_node, ephemeral-only branches stay accumulative notes), no fork_node is warranted here because nothing branches: every beat plays through identically regardless of the locked path_bucket (the v2.5 entry's own side-questline line states this plainly, "each opening or closing opportunity, none gating"), and the schema itself names the Epilogue as the canonical example of a path_bucket ALL row ("a row that plays identically on every committed path — post-lock invariant content — the Ch 77 reveal, the epilogue," §1) [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0045].
Unlike a chapter with a durable write of its own, the Epilogue makes no new ws write at all: every ws.* reference in the beat graph above is a READ of state set upstream — the journal-status chain (Ch 13 through Ch 58, §8.4), the Ch-65 path lock, the found-family/companion-roster resolution (Ch 65), and the Ch-76 father-encounter-variant (read again here as already-landed context, per Decision Q6 below), and the Ch-75 Ntala inversion axis (ws.ntala_inversion_state, WS_040 — EVIL-band only, read at CHEPI_B03 as journal-custody colouring: STANDING_WITNESS the record kept from outside to the end, SILENCED the record orphaned and physically surviving cold, UNSET on the surviving buckets; the unseen reader stays UNASSIGNED and the journal invariant is unmoved). The chapter's own mark_left is narrative only — the record survives and is read by another — and writes no new ws key; the reveal itself is the arc's single sanctioned surfacing, released once at Ch 77 and never repeated [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 8.4] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
The v2.5 entry's four combined bullets are typed here as three per-slug SQ rows plus two coda notes (CVD §17.6 canonical 12); none gate the main spine, per the chapter's own "none gating" framing [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0032].
SQ1 · questline fairy_tale_folklore · stage COMPLETE · gate none · beats [CHEPI_B03, CHEPI_B07] · reward the whole journey's record read to its end, complete or partial per the locked path; the changeling/return motif the Prologue-to-Ch-1 origin pays off, echoed here as the ring's far side, never lifted
SQ4 · questline mystery_detective · stage COMPLETE · gate none · beats [CHEPI_B05] · reward the unseen reader's identity held open with care, the frame's one deliberately unanswered mystery
SQ5 · questline astrology_psychology · stage ADVANCE · gate none · beats [CHEPI_B08] · reward the Magister Templi Tier-9 Hermetic prestige questline unlocked, the endgame mastery path opened
(SQ1-12 ALL become available in the post-reveal endgame free-play at CHEPI_B08, non-gating — the arc's whole world open to roam after the story; not each re-typed as a separate row since no further chapter content advances them individually here [SRC: T0_Questline_Index].)
(ER-1, the contest-prestige ladder — an L2-completionist opt-in loop distinct from the twelve canonical SQs and from the Magister Templi mastery loop, its own contest index: the caci whip-duel, the kalari bout, the Olympia pankration, the holmgang, and the arena sand, plus the Andean Tinku and the Rapa Nui birdman rite under the represent-with-care rider; carried at CHEPI_B08 inside the endgame sandbox, never in the shared frame; typed as a note here since it is not one of the SQ1-12 slugs [SRC: T0_Questline_Index] [POPULATE→T0_Cross_Cultural_Link_Graph].)
(twelve_level_gate: none binds new content at the Epilogue; the Magister Templi Tier-9 crossing is the endgame's own gate, opened not newly authored here.)
Key ally NPCs
The healer's child (CHAR_0002) — the journal's co-author, the shared-voice record's second perspective (T3_Core §3.13); their record is what the Epilogue's frame renders, complete on the surviving paths and partial on the Evil path; on TRULY_GOOD/GOOD_ENOUGH present or departed per the RULED D-23 non-gating Continuation/Departure model (the for_life bond never departing via the integrity mechanic, §8.11.3), and on the locked EVIL band the bond INVERTED at the Ch-65 threshold and the Ch-75 FORK_CH75_D encounter — the custody colouring the frame carries (STANDING_WITNESS she kept the record from outside to the end, SILENCED the record orphaned and physically surviving cold); either way the RECORD is what carries, and the unseen reader stays UNASSIGNED [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.13].
The father (CHAR_0005) — on the paths where the King survives Ch 76, his "I was consulting myself" gloss (§8.11) was delivered at the Ch-77 summit; the Epilogue carries it as already-landed context, not re-rendered here; absent on the Evil path (he fell at his court, Ch 76) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 8.11] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 6.7].
The unseen reader — the presence at the edge of the frame who turns the pages; UNNAMED and UNSHOWN, held with care, never captioned (the last held thing; it could be the one who lived the road, or the next to walk one — the frame gives no answer) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
No antagonist NPC — the family arc is closed; the antagonist is absent from the close (T4 §10.5) [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.5].

HELD: the reader stays unnamed and unshown as the frame fades
Protected-chapter / living-culture framing (§17.1, standard care, the shared-frame and thesis-not-restated discipline)
The Epilogue depicts no living Earth community — it is a game-canon narrative-frame bookend (a table, a journal, an unseen reader) with no Earth-cultural primary-source corpus. The framed-narrative traditions it is built in (the found manuscript, the reader-in-the-text, the diary/archive as testament, ring composition) are honored as craft-reference and echoed never lifted — no proper noun and no specific work enters the game's own fiction. The binding discipline is the SHARED-FRAME and THESIS-NOT-RESTATED rule: the Epilogue renders ONLY the path-invariant unseen-reader frame, identical across all three Finales (HL_0045 + CVD §17.9 + T1_Integrity §9.6); path-variant Epilogue content is NOT authored (the three Finales and the twenty-second-slot outcome are resolved upstream at the Ch 65 lock and Ch 58, HL_0011/HL_0066/T3_Familiars §5.8 — never re-litigated in the Epilogue); the single path-variance the frame carries is the COMPLETENESS of the journal (full on the surviving paths, incomplete on the Evil path, the same frame playing either way). The thesis is NOT re-declared: Ch 77 surfaced it exactly once, wordlessly; the Epilogue LIVES it forward (the record survives and is read by another) and never restates it — the locked thesis phrasing stays off-page (HL_0043/§18.1). The unseen reader's identity is held/uncaptioned (the last held thing). The antagonist is absent (T4 §10.5). Standard care throughout; the close is warm, still, and restrained [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0045].
Anti-fringe / Frame-A flags
The thesis not re-declared, lived-forward — at-risk failure: restating or paraphrasing the locked thesis in the Epilogue (the "as we now understand…" trap), captioning what the record means, or letting an out-of-world meta-frame narrate it. Canonical framing: authorial-only; Ch 77 states the thesis exactly once; the Epilogue lives it forward (the record survives, is read by another) and never re-declares it; the locked phrasing stays off-page (HL_0043/§18.1); the metaphysic is simply true in the frame, never pointed at [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
The shared, path-invariant frame — at-risk failure: authoring three distinct Epilogue scenes, baking a valence into the frame, or re-litigating the three Finales / the twenty-second-slot outcome (resolved upstream). Canonical framing: authorial-only; the Epilogue renders one shared frame identical across all three Finales (HL_0045); the only path-variance is the journal's completeness (full / partial); the divergence is resolved upstream at the Ch 65 lock and Ch 58 (HL_0011/HL_0066), never in the Epilogue [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0045] [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 9.6].
The unseen reader held, the record-craft echoed never lifted — at-risk failure: naming or resolving the unseen reader (a caption, a reveal), or lifting a specific framed-tale work into the game's fiction. Canonical framing: authorial-only; the unseen reader is unnamed and unshown, the identity held open with care (it could be the one who lived the road, or the next to walk one); the framed-narrative and testament traditions are craft-reference, echoed never lifted, no proper noun in the fiction [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Three-layer surfacing
L1 self-contained: a complete quiet coda that opens onto the endgame — the shared unseen-reader frame (the journal on the table, the pages turning, fade to black) plus the playable post-reveal free-play: the healed-or-unhealed realm to roam and the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige loop unlocked (HL_0029), the game's full kit live for the player who continues; not combat-absent (Pillar 11), genuinely complete as a close and as an endgame threshold [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
L2 investigatable: the readable substrate — the post-reveal reflection; the King's "I was consulting myself" beat (on the surviving paths); the journal's final state (complete or partial); and the framed-narrative / record-as-testament / ring-composition craft the frame is built in, honored as reference and echoed never lifted [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
L3 metaphysical-as-real, never declared: the thesis has landed and is now the air openly — the one place it can be lived without withholding — but it is NOT re-declared; the record really survives and really is read by another mind (felt through the turning pages, never captioned), the circle really closes (felt through the ring to the Prologue). Nothing of the thesis is restated; the locked phrasing stays off-page (HL_0043). The L3 grounding traces to the record-as-testament and framed-narrative craft [SRC: FINALE_FAIRY_ENRICHMENT], never to fringe [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Asset anchors
creatures_and_fauna — the twenty-second-slot familiar OUTCOME resolved upstream (Ch 58/65; TG rejoins as legendary companion / GE the binding-stone gift / Evil the defeat-and-take, T3_Familiars §5.8/§5.X) and NOT an Epilogue beat; the roster carried into the endgame free-play; no new creature or bond rooted; no target (no combat) [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [POPULATE→T0_Creature_Roster].
architecture_set_dressing — the closing frame: a table, the healer's-child journal open upon it, still warm light, the pages turning under an unseen hand; the post-reveal realm (healed or unhealed per path) as the endgame sandbox; a quiet, resolving, luminous aesthetic; no protected sacred site reproduced [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [POPULATE→T0_Theme_Registry].
material_palette and style_register — a warm, still, resolving register (the open book, the softening light, the fade to black); restraint and quiet, never spectacle; the ring-composition close [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
music_mood — a spare, warm, resolving register (the pages turning, the last light), settling into silence; a single quiet ring-motif rhyming with the Prologue's opening as the frame fades; theme_refs the record-carried-forward motif, the ring-close motif; no reproduced living-tradition liturgy [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [POPULATE→T0_Theme_Registry].
voice_and_crowd — the frame is near-WORDLESS (the pages turning, the fade to black; no narration explains the record); the King's single human-scale gloss (§8.11) on the surviving paths the only spoken beat; the unseen reader is VOICELESS and UNSHOWN; per-NPC registers deferred to the Voice registry (no captioning of the reader, no re-declared thesis) [SRC: T1_Build_Pipeline_Contracts # 9.6] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [POPULATE→T0_Voice_Registry].
sfx_substrate — the turning of the pages, the still room, the softening to silence at the fade; no protected cultural sound reproduced [SRC: T1_Build_Pipeline_Contracts # 10.8] [POPULATE→T0_SFX_Registry].
scripts and sacred objects — the healer's-child JOURNAL is the frame's central artifact (the shared record, T3_Core §3.13; complete or partial per path); the 77-Hidden-Inscription spine completed at Ch 77 (INSC_77H_CH77_FINAL) is carried, not re-surfaced; the game's own narrative-frame, no protected sacred object reproduced [SRC: T1_Languages_and_Script_Master] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.13].
Mechanical anchors
dominant_combat_mode environmental (the closing frame — a still bookend and the endgame sandbox, no story-combat) — mode-variety note: Ch 76 puzzle_routed, Ch 77 astral, Epilogue environmental, so no two consecutive share a dominant mode (HL_0049 holds on both adjacencies), and the five-node window Ch 74-77 plus the Epilogue carries four distinct dominant modes (environmental Ch 74, direct Ch 75, puzzle_routed Ch 76, astral Ch 77, environmental Epilogue), clearing HL_0049's three-distinct floor; intensity VALLEY (the resolving coda — the lowest register, the arc's exhale after the Ch 77 standard-register summit) [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_EPILOGUE] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0049] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0048]. [CORRECTED (endgame-renumbering sweep, 2026-07-27): the note read "Ch 76 environmental," a pre-v3 value — the live T0_Chapter_Index CH_76 cell and docs/spine/CH_76.md both read dominant_combat_mode puzzle_routed (the Cassius social-argument-and-taught-pattern-read fight is the mode-defining encounter), so the adjacency is reconciled to the registry. The stale "no three consecutive peaks, HL_0048 holds trivially" clause is dropped rather than restated: HL_0048's peaks clause scopes Ch 1-69 and was AMENDED (Josh RULED 2026-07-27) to remove that clause for Ch 70-77 — the final ascent may build continuously — so no peaks obligation reaches this node at all; the half of HL_0048 that does bind here is per-chapter mode variety across all 79 nodes, which the Everything-woven and beat-scale blocks carry.]
main_boss_win_condition none — no boss, no fight, no fail state (antagonist-absent, T4 §10.5); the frame is the shared unseen-reader bookend and the playable layer is the endgame free-play + the Magister Templi prestige loop; there is nothing to defeat and nothing that can be lost; agility_course none in the frame (the endgame sandbox carries the arc's courses, biome-rotated, none story-gating, HL_0079) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0079].
abilities_unlocked no new tree ability in the frame; Ch 77 completion GATES the Magister Templi Tier-9 Hermetic prestige questline (HL_0029 + CVD §17.5) — the endgame mastery loop the Epilogue opens onto; the full elven catalog at the vril ceiling carried [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029] [SRC: T0_Ability_Tree_Registry @ A_C_001].
vril_sites none newly anchored; the post-reveal realm's recharge network carried into the endgame free-play (the waterfall recharge-source of Ch 77 and VS_CH70_001 among them); no new site rooted at the Epilogue [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0112]. [CORRECTED (endgame-renumbering sweep, 2026-07-27): read "the waterfall recharge-source of Ch 76-77," a pre-v3 span — under the ratified v3 fold the waterfall is a single node, Ch 77 (its approach compressed into the chapter's own opening), and Ch 76 is the Two Courts, the King's hall. HL_0112's row text still carries the pre-v3 "Ch 76-77" span; the authored spine governs per the mirror-class principle (docs/spine/CH_77.md entry header and biome_primary; docs/spine/CH_76.md region), and the HL_0112 row itself rides the arc-wide hard-line renumbering sweep, not this file.]
weapons chapter_anchored_weapon_add none — not a weapon-anchor node (the four HL_0056 anchors are Ch 9-10 / 29 / 47 / 57); no combat in the frame (nothing wielded); the 72-roster carried into the endgame [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0056].
trades no new trade home rooted; the perception and Inscription disciplines (Trade 9, Adeptus Exemptus) carried; the reading of the record the last application [SRC: T1_Trades_Master # 9].
familiars no new bond rooted; the twenty-second-slot OUTCOME resolved upstream (Ch 58/65, T3_Familiars §5.8/§5.X) and carried, NOT an Epilogue beat; the roster carried into the endgame free-play; companions_and_recurring_npcs CHAR_0002 the healer's child (the journal's co-author) and CHAR_0005 the father (post-reveal frame, surviving paths) [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002].
inscription_spine the 77-Hidden-Inscription spine completed at Ch 77 (INSC_77H_CH77_FINAL) is carried, not re-surfaced; the healer's-child JOURNAL — the whole journey's shared record — is the frame's central inscription-artifact, read to its end (complete or partial per path) [SRC: T0_Inscription_Spine] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.13].
schools no new school debuts (SCH_001-013 carried); the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige loop is the endgame mastery path, not a new school [SRC: T0_School_Registry @ SCH_013].
main_quest_beat the reveal settled and the King's gloss carried as resonance (CHEPI_B04); the journal opens (CHEPI_B01/CHEPI_B02); the completeness read (CHEPI_B03); the pages turn under an unseen hand (CHEPI_B05); fade to black, the ring closing (CHEPI_B06/CHEPI_B07); the frame opens onto the endgame free-play (CHEPI_B08); side_questlines the record read (SQ1/SQ4), the prestige loop (SQ5), the endgame sandbox (SQ1-12 ALL), path_bucket ALL throughout, none gating [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0032].
integrity_divergence — no fork this chapter (§10b): the shared, path-invariant frame (HL_0045) renders identically across all three locked buckets, so the Epilogue generates no new integrity divergence and writes no new ws state; mark_left the record survives and is read by another (narrative only, no new ws write); path_state_at_chapter_end path_bucket LOCKED (Ch-65-committed band carried forward unchanged, read via ws.journal_status/ws.journal_voice_texture at CHEPI_B03, §18); convergence_node_id null (Ch 65 was the lock; the Epilogue is path-invariant) [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 9.6].
substrate_sources the framed-narrative / found-manuscript / reader-in-the-text craft; the record-as-testament tradition (the diary/archive that outlives the writer and is read by another); ring composition; the deliberately-unresolved held final image and fade-to-black — consolidated as craft-reference to the Source registry (region_tags the-unseen-reader / the-journal-on-the-table / the-record-carried-forward / the-ring-to-the-prologue, care tier hard-line-shared-frame-thesis-not-restated); no Earth-cultural primary-source corpus (game-canon narrative-frame) [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue] [POPULATE→T0_Source_Material_Registry].
rewards per-quest reward map authored in-intent — the record read, the ring closed, the endgame free-play and the Magister Templi prestige loop opened; loot/seed anchors carried by the endgame sandbox, deferred [POPULATE→T0_RNG_Drop_Table] [POPULATE→T0_Quest_Seed_Registry].
encounter_mode/zone journal_frame_table (the table and the journal — narrative-frame, no combat, CHEPI_B01 through CHEPI_B07) and post_reveal_realm (the endgame sandbox + the prestige loop, CHEPI_B08) — consistent with the typed site rows and the environmental dominant mode; no combat zone in the frame (nothing fought, no fail state) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
integrity_level terminal band carried unchanged from the Ch-65 lock, textured further at Ch 76-77; the Epilogue generates no new divergence and computes no new band ← WS_002 · world_state_current the 1:1-mapped band carried from the locked path, no new transition here ← WS_003 · path_bucket LOCKED (TRULY_GOOD | GOOD_ENOUGH | EVIL — committed Ch 65, carried unmoved; the Epilogue's rendered content is path-invariant across all three per HL_0045, the sole variance riding on ws.journal_status/ws.journal_voice_texture, never on path_bucket itself) ← WS_004/WS_005
reveal_state HELD (the thesis stays off-page — Ch 77 was the arc's one sanctioned surfacing, lived forward here and never restated, per HL_0043/§18.1; the unseen reader's identity held/uncaptioned, HL_0045) · identity_hiding_status CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION (carried unchanged since Ch 66 — the corpus-wide bare-enum discipline; "nothing left hidden" rides as narrative texture only, never a new enum transition) ← WS_025 · age_stage Adulthood (18, the young-adult plateau holds; no crossing at the Epilogue) ← WS_007 · intensity VALLEY
End-state carry-forward (the arc complete — the ring to the Prologue; the authored fold over the beat/fork deltas)
protagonist_age: 18 (internal, designer-only, never surfaced; the young-adult plateau holds into the close).
age_stage: Adulthood.
companions_present: the found-family carried per the Ch-65 resolution; the healer's child (CHAR_0002) the journal's co-author (present or departed per the RULED D-23 non-gating model on the surviving bands; on the locked EVIL band the for_life bond INVERTED at Ch 65 and Ch 75, ws.ntala_inversion_state STANDING_WITNESS or SILENCED, WS_040 — the record carrying either way); the reunited familiar per the twenty-second-slot outcome (resolved upstream, Ch 58/65); the father (CHAR_0005) in the post-reveal frame on the surviving paths (absent on Evil).
record_state: the healer's-child JOURNAL — the whole journey's shared record — read to its end (CHEPI_B01 through CHEPI_B06); COMPLETE on the surviving paths, INCOMPLETE/partial on the Evil path (ws.journal_status, the single path-variance the frame carries, typed at CHEPI_B03).
endgame_state: the post-Ch-77 endgame free-play open (CHEPI_B08 — the healed-or-unhealed realm to roam); the Magister Templi Tier-9 Hermetic prestige questline unlocked (HL_0029 + CVD §17.5); the full vril ceiling and the whole roster carried; the continuity with Ch 77 stated so the two nodes carry the same claim — the Ch-77 ascent layer is the LAST STORY combat of the mainline and this node's combat is the SAME kit in the SAME realm, one continuous playable world across a seam whose only content is silence (the Ch-77 waterfall reveal scene is that chapter's protected no-combat exit beat and carries no encounter on any path), and the MMO next-expansion bridge — the Tier-C raid roles and the hundred-player World Boss — hangs off this same open world [SRC: T1_Tier_C_MMO_Spec] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
path_states: ws.path_bucket LOCKED (TRULY_GOOD | GOOD_ENOUGH | EVIL, committed Ch 65) carried, path-invariant here (§18, zero fork nodes, §10b); the arc COMPLETE — the reveal received (Ch 77), the circle closed at CHEPI_B07, the record survived and read by another; the Epilogue the shared path-invariant close (HL_0045).
arc_state: THE JOURNEY COMPLETE — the seventy-seven-chapter road walked, the summit reached, the thesis lived forward not re-declared; a book left open, a hand unseen turning toward the first page again — the ring closing back toward the Prologue (built next, read first).
Seam state-diffs (machine-checkable exit→entry assertions over ws state keys; the prose bridge stays in the transitions file)
The CH_77 → CH_EPILOGUE seam (Ch 77's end state pins this node's start; verified against CH_77's own End-state carry-forward and this chapter's Continuity anchor, unaltered):
assert ws.age_stage: Adulthood (18, carry) · ws.path_bucket: LOCKED (TRULY_GOOD | GOOD_ENOUGH | EVIL, committed Ch 65, carried unmoved) · ws.path_lock_in_state: LOCKED (WS_005, since Ch 65) · ws.identity_hiding_status: CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION (carried unchanged since Ch 66; the Ch-77 gloss "FULLY RECOGNIZED" rides as narrative texture only, per the WS_025 bare-enum discipline) · ws.journal_status: SHARED_POST_CH58 | PUBLIC_HEDGED_GOOD_ENOUGH | NEVER_COMPLETED (the Ch-13-through-58 state machine's locked outcome, read not written here) · ws.journal_voice_texture: RICH_WARM | MIDDLE_REGISTER | SPARSE_COLD · ws.father_encounter_variant: REUNION_TGP | NEGOTIATION_GE | COMBAT_EVIL (his gloss already delivered at the Ch-77 summit on the first two, absent on Evil) · ws.companion_roster_state: the found-family carried per the Ch-65 resolution, the healer's child present or departed per the RULED D-23 non-gating model on the surviving bands (the EVIL-band inversion carried as ws.ntala_inversion_state, WS_040 — read for the journal-custody colouring, the unseen reader still UNASSIGNED) · ws.familiar_bond_state: the reunited childhood familiar and the roster carried, no new bond · reveal_state: THE REVELATION RECEIVED (Ch 77) carried, path-invariant into this node.
The CH_EPILOGUE → CH_PROLOGUE seam (the ring, not a state hand-off — CH_PROLOGUE's own Continuity anchor and Seam state-diffs pin prev_chapter_link none and assert no predecessor seam exists; the Prologue's start state is the canonical pre-rift baseline, not anything the Epilogue writes):
assert no ws state carries forward — the Prologue is the arc's origin baseline, authored independently of any Epilogue exit value, per CH_PROLOGUE's own ruling · the closing image (a book left open, a hand turning toward the first page again) rhymes with the Prologue's opening as a THEMATIC ring-composition close only (L3, Decision Q7 below) — a build-order link (the Epilogue built next, read first), never a mechanical state dependency · mark_carried: none (the ECV-09/ECV-12 connective-web links were considered and left untyped — see Decision Q11 below).
Decisions surfaced
The Epilogue is a canonical hard-line node (the eighteen-node set), but its content is tightly locked by canon (the shared unseen-reader frame; path-variant content not authored) — so the resolutions are implementations of canon, surfaced here with reasoning shown (per the resolve-don't-defer contract). The v3 conversion adds four further resolutions (Q8-Q11) below, Josh-override-able at any Range Review.
Q1 — the shared, path-invariant frame — RESOLVED (canon, T3_Core §3.14 + HL_0045 + CVD §17.9 + T1_Integrity §9.6): the Epilogue renders ONLY the unseen-reader journal bookend, identical across all three Finales; the single path-variance is the journal's completeness (full / partial); path-variant content is NOT authored [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Q2 — the thesis lived-forward, not re-declared (the load-bearing call) — RESOLVED (canon, HL_0043/§18.1 + CVD §17.9): Ch 77 states the thesis once; the Epilogue lives it forward (the record survives, is read by another) and never restates it; the locked phrasing stays off-page [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
Q3 — the unseen reader held/uncaptioned — RESOLVED (canon + craft): the reader is unnamed and unshown, the identity held open with care (it could be the one who lived the road, or the next to walk one); the frame gives no answer, and the withholding is the point [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Q4 — not combat-absent (Pillar 11) — RESOLVED (FINALE brief; HL_0029): the rendered frame is a quiet bookend, but the node opens onto the playable post-reveal endgame free-play (the realm to roam) and the Magister Templi Tier-9 prestige loop (unlocked by Ch 77 completion) — the game's full kit live for the player who continues [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0029].
Q5 — the three Finales + the twenty-second-slot resolved upstream — RESOLVED (canon, Ch 65 lock HL_0011/HL_0066; Ch 58 T3_Familiars §5.8/§5.X): the three-path divergence and the familiar-slot outcome are NOT Epilogue beats; the Epilogue is the shared close after them [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 9.6].
Q6 — the King's gloss delivered ONCE at Ch 77, carried not re-rendered — RESOLVED (canon, §8.11/§6.7): the "I was consulting myself" gloss is delivered at the Ch-77 summit on the paths where the King survives (a beat after the recognition); the Epilogue carries it as already-landed context, NOT a re-rendered Epilogue beat — avoiding a second path-variance beyond the locked single one (the journal's completeness) and the Ch-77/Epilogue double-delivery; absent on the Evil path (he fell Ch 76) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 8.11].
Q7 — the ring to the Prologue — RESOLVED (craft; FINALE brief): the closing image (a book left open, a hand turning toward the first page again) is authored as the bookend to the Prologue (built next, read first), closing the circle [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Epilogue].
The Unseen-Reader frame — ADOPTED from the canonical T3_Core §3.14 + the RCM Epilogue section (the journal on a table, the unseen reader, fade to black; shared path-invariant; the journal's completeness the only variance); grounded on the framed-narrative and record-as-testament craft-research, the thesis lived-forward not re-declared [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.14].
Q8 — ws.identity_hiding_status bare-enum discipline, carried from the Ch-66 ruling — RESOLVED (v3 conversion): the endgame chain's narrative gloss ("FULLY RECOGNIZED" at Ch 77, "RECOGNIZED-AS-KIN" at Ch 66/76) is not a value in WS_025's closed domain (FIRST_CONCEALMENT / ACTIVE_CONCEALMENT / NEAR_REVEAL / REVEAL_RECOVERY / CONCEALMENT_WITH_RECOGNIZED_ALLY / CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION); per the CH_66 ruling (never re-litigated since, and the whole endgame chain carries it unchanged), no typed beat, §18, or seam assertion here writes it as a new enum transition — the real value stays CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION, carried inert from Ch 66 forward, with "nothing left hidden" riding as narrative texture only [SRC: T0_Worldstate_Variables @ WS_025] [SRC: CH_66 # Decisions surfaced].
Q9 — the journal-completeness path-variance typed to its registry anchors (ECV-06) — RESOLVED (v3 conversion, grounded on T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master §8.4/§8.5): the v2.5 entry's COMPLETE/INCOMPLETE contrast is typed at CHEPI_B03 as a read of ws.journal_status (SHARED_POST_CH58 Truly Good / PUBLIC_HEDGED_GOOD_ENOUGH Good Enough / NEVER_COMPLETED Evil, per §8.4's own Ch-77 anchor line) and ws.journal_voice_texture (RICH_WARM / MIDDLE_REGISTER / SPARSE_COLD); this is the Epilogue's sole path-variance (HL_0045), read not authored — no new ws write occurs [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 8.4] [SRC: WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY # ECV-06].
Q10 — the v3 zero-fork typing — RESOLVED (v3 conversion, 2026-07-15; Josh-override-able at any RR): the v2.5 integrity_divergence line declares divergence_points NONE and the ending path already locked at Ch 65; per the CH_67/CH_68 post-lock convention (a fork_node only where a genuinely band-varying surface exists) and the schema's own naming of the Epilogue as the canonical path_bucket ALL example (§1), §10b types ZERO fork_nodes rather than manufacturing a degenerate path_dispatch table — matching CH_67's precedent exactly [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 3.4] [SRC: CH_67 # Decisions surfaced].
Q11 — the ECV-09/ECV-12 ring-closure links, considered and left untyped — RESOLVED (v3 conversion, join-and-type discipline): WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY's ECV-09 (reframing the endgame sandbox as the Prologue's reclaimed Personal-Dimension/birthright-home) and ECV-12 (the first-vril-gesture ring closing at Ch 77's waterfall, not the Epilogue) are both tagged EXISTS_UNPAID — not yet applied to the live entry, by the inventory's own status marks; the live CH_EPILOGUE.md text does not itself ground the endgame sandbox in the birthright-home framing, so typing that connection here would author new canon rather than join-and-type what the entry already carries. Both links are left untyped and reported for the enrichment layer, not invented into this conversion; the ring-closure the live entry DOES carry — the closing image rhyming with the Prologue's opening (Q7) — is typed at CHEPI_B07 and the Fork-graph/Seam sections instead [SRC: WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY # ECV-09] [SRC: WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY # ECV-12].
