Chapter 75 — The Realm at War: The Homecoming, the Peopled Front, and the Colossus of Her Own Unfinished Work
Story Spine entry, v3.1 beat→fork→state event graph (docs/SPINE_SCHEMA_v3.md), restructured in place from the v2.5 cascade build (the AAA WS5 endgame fold — Ch 75 The Realm at War, its own peopled war in three movements), spine_status drafted. The v2.5 anchors, prose, source-anchor provenance, and reveal discipline are preserved; v3 re-shapes the site/boss/beat/side-quest/scene/state blocks into the typed machine layer (join-and-type — no new canon authored). Grounded on the enrich.py pack, the canonical BOSS_PERSONAS Realm-War material (BE_0075 and its four ratified champions plus the fused Last Coil), and the WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY endgame links (ECV-01/02/03/04/07, FR-03, L-DRAG-72-75). Standard-care chapter (canonical_hard_line_flag FALSE — Ch 75 is outside the eighteen-node set) carrying the naming hard line (HL_0099 — the Elven King referenced only by title, never named) and, load-bearing, the §17.1 / HL_0109 / HL_0114 antisemitism guardrail in its war register (the war condenses out of the realm's OWN sickened substrate — the realm's own dark mythology risen and turned — never a marched cabal-army and never an invading people; the family's reach the faceless corrupting condition behind it). Reveal-timing note — the House of Velheim is player-facing (since Ch 38) but the patriarch stays UNNAMED (Cassius is named at Ch 76, the Two Courts), and the thesis and the Grand Sage are held to Ch 77; the felt one-coil recognition (Thread 2, the Last Coil) is held FELT and never declared (never a stated it-was-always-one-dragon). Post-Ch-65 node — path_bucket is LOCKED; the §10b forks READ the committed band (and the Ch-72 withholder read), they never move it. Drafted is not canonical.
Entry header (schema per §9.5)
chapter_id CH_75; region the fairy realm — the origin realm crossed into at last through the World-Tree (Ch 74 Yggdrasil), found at war: the King's decades of grief crystallized into the land and, over and through it, the realm's own dark mythology risen and turned by a corruption from without; a dimensional space rather than an Earth location [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_75] [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
region_chapter_set — the first of the three-node fairy-realm fold (Ch 75 the Realm at War / Ch 76 the Two Courts / Ch 77 the Waterfall); the homecoming and the peopled war for the realm, the full vril ceiling returned for the first time since the Prologue, the Movement-2 front culminating in the terminal chaos-dragon (the Last Coil, fused into the Cinder-Advance) with the TL-25 coalition-return at her side, climaxing on the assembled-titan made of her own unfinished work; the reveal held (the patriarch named at Ch 76, the thesis at Ch 77) [SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 19.8] [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
biome_primary the fairy realm — a sovereign, vril-luminous otherworld now a war-country: the King's grief set into the land as dense still crystallized formations (the wound made visible), and across it the sickened substrate condensing the realm's own dark beings into a front; climate the fairy-realm timeline, atemporal; homecoming and war held together [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
era the fairy-realm timeline — outside human historical time; the substrate frame the living Celtic and Norse fairy traditions (the Sídhe and the Tuatha Dé, Álfheim of the light-elves, the Otherworld courts) and their OWN dark counter-mythology (the Fomorians, the Sluagh host of the restless dead, the Dökkálfar, the fire-giant siege) held as Layer-2 reference — the realm's own beings, honored good and villainized evil per the deities-real rule [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24].
operational type ACTION / REALM WAR — a peopled war for the realm (court against court), the homecoming grief-geography as its opener, the four-champion front culminating in the terminal chaos-dragon (the Last Coil, fused into the Cinder-Advance) with the TL-25 coalition-return at her side, and the her-own-leavings colossus as its capstone; the King an honored defender at her side; the family's hand faceless behind the front (the corrupting condition, never a marched army) [SRC: BOSS_PERSONAS # Ch 24] [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.4].
canonical_hard_line_flag FALSE — not a hard-line node, but carrying the naming hard line (HL_0099 — the Elven King never named), the antagonist held faceless (Cassius named at Ch 76, HL_0035; the thesis and Grand Sage held Ch 76-77, HL_0043/HL_0046), and the §17.1 / HL_0109 / HL_0114 antisemitism guardrail in its war register [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0099] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0109].
prev_chapter_link CH_74 (Yggdrasil, the World-Tree crossing — the door home opened); next_chapter_link CH_76 (the Two Courts — Cassius named and confronted, then the father encounter) [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_75].
hard_line_binding — the Elven-King naming hard line (HL_0099); the reveal ceiling still held (the patriarch's name held to Ch 76 [HL_0035], the thesis and Grand Sage to Ch 77 [HL_0043/HL_0046]); the §17.1/HL_0109/HL_0114 antisemitism guardrail in the war register (the corruption condition-made-weather, the realm's OWN dark mythology risen, never a cabal-army and never an invading people) [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0109] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0114].
Continuity anchor (SSBL §9.3 — Ch 75 start state = Ch 74 end state)
The protagonist crosses through the World-Tree (Ch 74 Yggdrasil) out of the last root of the last realm and steps into the fairy realm — home, or nearly — at eighteen, the young-adult plateau holding (internal age designer-only, never surfaced); age_stage Adulthood [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_75].
Companions: the healer's child (CHAR_0002) per the Ch-65 Departure/Continuation resolution, the evidence-journal in her hand; Ana (CHAR_0017), the melee blade; the accreted found-family carried; the childhood familiar (the 22nd-slot, reunited at Ch 58) crossing home into the realm with her — the return-to-realm reunion the homecoming's tender beat [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002].
Identity and reveal state: her elven origin RECOGNIZED (Ch 66) and now home; the ENDING PATH LOCKED (Ch 65); the Realm Road complete (Ch 66-74, the nine otherworlds crossed and their guardians faced, the World-Tree door opened); the House of Velheim and its pattern player-facing since Ch 38 — but the patriarch NOT yet named (Cassius is Ch 76), and the thesis and the Grand Sage held to Ch 77 [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.4].
Mastery, ability, and familiar state: the full vril ceiling sustained — she has rebuilt, across seventy-four chapters, toward the mastery her father holds at the Prologue ceiling, and here in the vril-dense realm she carries it whole for the first time since the fall; the Inscription discipline (Trade 9) at Adeptus Exemptus; the Phoenix Form (A_F_012) carried; the childhood familiar home in the realm; the familiars carried (the F4 Simurgh, the F7 Andean Condor, the Nile Crocodile W2, the water familiars, and the roster) [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [SRC: T0_Ability_Tree_Registry @ A_C_001].
Body prose
She comes through the last root of the World-Tree expecting home, and finds a war. The realm is here, exactly as the ache carried it all these years and truer than memory — a country lit from inside, the air itself a substance so rich she feels her whole rebuilt power settle into it and stand at its full height for the first time since she was a child falling through a rift, the ceiling she has spent seventy-four chapters climbing back toward simply given back to her the moment she is home. And in the having-back of it she understands, with a grief that is almost worse than the war, the size of the lie she has lived inside: the human world she loves and has fought across is a starved place, running on a thin cold trickle of what she is standing in the flood of now, and it never knew, and she never knew, and the beautiful lie the whole road half-taught her is confirmed at last by contrast — the world is poorer than it can imagine, and no one there has ever felt this and lived to say so.
But there is no time to stand in it. The land is wounded two ways at once, and she has to learn to tell the wounds apart or she will do harm trying to help. One wound is her father's: the realm's bright vril hangs in dense motionless shapes across whole reaches of the country, grief set into geography, the exact measure of an absence a king carried so long it crystallized around him — and that is not a corruption to purge, it is love in a terrible shape, and the road has taught her the difference between clearing rot and tearing down a monument. She moves through the grief-country the older, quieter way, restraint before force, clearing only what is truly sickness and leaving the sorrow its room; over-purging here — scouring away the shapes his missing her built — would be the worst thing her power could do. And it is in the grief-country, before the war closes over everything, that the homecoming gives back one thing that is not sorrow: the one she grew up beside — the best friend of a childhood a whole life and a fall ago, left behind in the realm when she went through the seam and grown in all the years she was gone — finds her among the crystallized shapes. The friend of the flowering plain, from before the road and before the fall, met again at the end of the whole long way home; there is no time for the reunion the moment deserves, and how much of one there is at all depends on who she has become on the way back — but the friend is here, alive and grown and one of the realm's own, the first thing the return pays back that is not grief. The other wound is the war, and the war is not her father's at all.
Because the reach she has felt behind every silenced thing since she was a child — the House whose name she learned an ocean and a lifetime ago, the pressure she has fought as apparatus and ledger and hunter across the whole modern world — has come the one place she thought it could never follow, and it has not come with an army. It could not march a host into the origin realm; there is no host. What it did was subtler and worse: its corruption seeped into the realm's own substrate like rot climbing a lattice, and where it settled it woke and turned the realm's OWN dark mythology against the rest. The country's shadow-side has risen — an unseelie court arrayed against the King's court, a siege-eyed giant out of the realm's own ancient dark whose gaze is a weapon, a host of the restless unquiet dead sweeping the low ground with faces and grievances of their own, dark-elven nobles turned to the corruption's service, a fire-giant's burning advance at the far wall. These are real, and they are the realm's own, and they are the war: a civil and cosmic disorder inside a single tradition, one country's light and dark at each other's throats — with generals and defenders and courts on both sides, and her father among the defenders at her side, fighting for the realm he has guarded ten thousand years. The family's hand is in all of it and has no face in any of it. It is the weather the front condenses out of, the grain in the rot, the single-source unity you feel behind a hundred separate assaults and can never once point to. That facelessness is the truth of it and not a mercy: the reach is a condition, not a marched people, and the beings she fights are the realm's own risen dark and not anyone's conscripted nation.
So the war is the chapter, and it is the whole game's kit turned loose at its ceiling: not out-damaging a tide but commanding the terrain of a peopled front, holding lines beside the King's defender-nobles and, for the first time on the whole long road, beside allies who came for her — the friend she made a realm ago, the courteous king of that far warm Otherworld, crossed in person to answer a welcome he still owed; a few honored keepers of the other realms she passed sending what aid a sovereign may where she parted owing or owed, and only those, some doors she left closed and sovereign staying closed; and the whole menagerie of the road mustered at her back as a war-host, every creature she ever tamed or gentled or bred, the small familiar of her own childhood home in its birth-realm and leading them — meeting each risen champion as the marquee thing it is, re-attuning the sickened anchor-sites of the realm while the corruption's adaptive waves come for the very channels she opens — purge while you restore, defend while you channel — and driving the woken dark back toward the sleep it should never have left. The far wall is the worst of it. The burning advance at the edge of the world does not break so much as it opens: the fire-country's slow siege-line peels back at its terminus to show the thing that was always coiled behind it, a chaos-dragon out of the realm's own oldest fire, uncoiled entire. And she knows it. She has met this shape before — on a reef with a storm-god at her side a whole life ago, and in a hundred coils on a hundred roads since — and the recognition lands wordless and certain and she does not stop to ask herself what it means, only that the long turning of it has come round at last to this, and she is the one standing where it ends. What the ending costs her depends on a mercy or a death she chose a realm ago at the axis of another world: if she broke that other withholder's hold and yet let it live, its coil has risen here beside this one, a second front to break, more of the same terrible thing to hold at once; and if she ended it there, no reinforcement comes, and the terminal coil comes on the fiercer and more relentless for having nothing to shelter behind — hard either way, never once the easier for the harder mercy or the cleaner kill. And at the end of it, when the front is broken and the courts are holding and the last coil is answered, the last enemy is the one no army sent. All the corruption she did not fully clear, all the half-finished work she left behind her across the whole road, accretes and compounds into a single colossus and stands up wearing the shape of her own unfinished business — not mustered by any hidden hand, not a monster someone built to break her, only the sum of what she left undone given weight and a silhouette she recognizes because it is hers. She finishes it herself, wordless, alone in the middle of a war otherwise full of faces, and the finishing is the truest measure of the whole climb: not that she is strong enough to end a thing, but that she can at last go back and close what she left open. The colossus comes apart. The front is held. And beyond the broken war one hall still stands, the King's own, where the grief is deepest and a guest she has not yet seen is already waiting — one door more.
Threads advancing
Thread 1 (Vril Parallels), major payoff / near-final — the beautiful lie CONFIRMED: the full vril ceiling returns the moment she is home (the first time since the Prologue), and by its flood the human world's concealed depletion becomes legible at last (a starved world running on a thin trickle, never knowing) — the thread's penultimate beat, the ring not yet shut (the RESOLUTION_FINAL held to the Ch-77 waterfall, where every name for the one substrate unifies at the recharge-source) [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 1] [SRC: T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_01].
Thread 2 (The Serpent), ANCHOR — the recurring chaos-dragon coil-body the road has carried since Ch 18 (the Ugaritic Litan on the reef with a storm-god at her side, and the whole Chaoskampf lineage across the modern and endgame roads) is answered at its terminus: the Cinder-Advance's eschaton-wall culminates in and unmasks the realm-native fire-country chaos-dragon, the Last Coil, the felt recurrence finally met and closed — the serpent-thread's terminal beat, the whole-road one-coil recognition held FELT and never declared (never a stated it-was-always-one-dragon; the hyperdiffusion-and-reveal leak refused); the NOT_PRESENT→ANCHOR flip carried in this entry pending the RR grid pass [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 2] [POPULATE→T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_02].
Thread 3 (Antagonist Family Pattern), ESCALATION — the family's reach follows her the one place she thought it could not, and its contribution is the faceless corrupting CONDITION behind the war (weather, rot, single-source unity), never a face and never a marched host; the escalation that sets up the Ch-76 CONFRONTATION where the reach finally takes a body and a name (Cassius) — held faceless here [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 3] [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.4].
Thread 6 (Dying-Rising), ANCHOR — the protagonist's own arc read as dying-rising reaches its homecoming: she fell from the realm in the Prologue (the death), and the return that the whole road bent toward completes here in the crossing-home and the recovered ceiling (the rising) — the origin realm receives her, though the reunion with the father himself waits at Ch 76 [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 6] [SRC: T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_06].
Thread 19 (End-of-World / Eschaton), ANCHOR — the realm at war as an internal cosmic disorder: the tradition's own dark mythology risen against its light (an unseelie court, the restless dead, the fire-giant's advance), a civil-and-cosmic war within one cosmology; the eschaton felt as the realm's near-unmaking, deferred by the front held, never a triggered world-end [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 19] [SRC: T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_19].
Major-thread coverage note — Ch 75 carries Thread 1 (major payoff, the beautiful-lie confirmed), Thread 2 (ANCHOR, the recurring serpent answered at its terminus — the Last Coil), Thread 3 (ESCALATION, the faceless reach), Thread 6 (ANCHOR, the homecoming dying-rising), and Thread 19 (ANCHOR, the realm's cosmic disorder); Thread 4 (Flood Memory) and Thread 5 (World Axis, capstoned at Ch 74) carry no direct Ch-75 anchor (the NOT_PRESENT cells recorded). The event-backed threads take carrier beats in §10 (Thread 1 + Thread 6 at CH75_B01, Thread 19 at CH75_B09, Thread 2 at CH75_B10); Thread 3 stays chapter-ambient (the faceless condition behind the whole front, no single fought face — no carrier beat). The Thread-2 NOT_PRESENT→ANCHOR flip, the Thread-1 dual-RF question (this beat vs the Ch-77 ring-closure), the stale Thread-3 grid cell, and the un-rowed Thread-1/Thread-19 grid gaps are flagged for RR-fold reconciliation; the Thread-grid rows are carried in this entry pending the RR grid pass [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 1].
Civilizational marks (the builders-of-knowledge layer, §9.5 mandatory)
The Celtic and Norse fairy cosmologies as full traditions — the Irish Sídhe and Tuatha Dé, the Welsh Otherworld courts, the Norse Álfheim of the light-elves: living bodies of European myth that imagined the fair-folk not as garden sprites but as a sovereign people with courts, kings, wars, and a whole counter-world; honored as the tradition's own achievement of imagination, each cosmology kept distinct, never flattened into one generic fairyland [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24] [SRC: CROSS_CULTURAL_WEAVE].
The dark counter-mythology as the tradition's own moral seriousness — the Fomorians, the Sluagh of the restless dead, the Dökkálfar, the fire-giants of Muspell: a mythology's honest reckoning that its own cosmos held horror as well as beauty, that the fair country had a shadow-side and named it; the mark is a civilization's refusal to imagine a world without a dark, and its courage to give the dark a face and fight it [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24] [SRC: SIGNIFICANCE_LENSES].
The ethic of the peopled war — that a war is fought by persons on both sides, with courts and generals and defenders and honored dead, never by a faceless tide; the old epics' insistence that even the enemy has a name and a reason, and that the good is defended by the good and not merely by the strong; honored as the story-wisdom the chapter is built on [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24] [SRC: SIGNIFICANCE_LENSES].
The chapter's own civilizational mark — a proposition about consequence and completion: that the hardest enemy at the end is not a thing someone else built to break you but the sum of what you yourself left unfinished, and that mastery is finally measured not by the strength to end a thing but by the willingness to go back and close what you left open [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24] [SRC: FINALE_FAIRY_ENRICHMENT].
Everything-woven (the twelve facets, each a real presence, none name-checked)
Combat is the peopled Realm War at the vril ceiling — command the terrain of a front rather than out-damage a tide, hold the line beside the King's defender-nobles and the coalition come to stand with her (the crossed friend-king of the far warm Otherworld, the selective honored aid where she parted owing or owed, the war-host of the tamed-and-bred roster with the childhood familiar at its head), meet each risen dark champion (the siege-eyed giant, the host of the restless dead, the turned dark-elven nobles, and the fire-giant's advance that peels back at its terminus to the realm-native chaos-dragon, the Last Coil — the recurring coil answered, its difficulty branch-balanced on the Ch-72 mercy-or-death) as the marquee thing it is, re-attune the sickened anchor-sites while the adaptive waves come for the channels, and finish the colossus of your own unfinished work alone at the last [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
Exploration is the war-country of the origin realm — the grief-crystallized reaches, the contested anchor-sites, the courts of light and risen dark, the vril-flood of a realm at its ceiling; the homecoming and the battlefield the same ground [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
Discovery (the beautiful lie confirmed by the recovered ceiling; the two wounds told apart, grief from corruption; the colossus recognized as her own leavings); puzzles (which sickness to clear and which sorrow to leave; the purge-while-you-restore anchor-site channels; the front's terrain commanded not out-damaged); mystery (the single-source unity behind a hundred separate assaults, felt and never once pointed to) [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 3].
Lore (the Sídhe and Tuatha Dé courts, Álfheim and the light-elves, the Fomorian and Sluagh and fire-giant dark-mythology); trades (the Inscription discipline read on the realm's native script now fully legible; the tending-and-restoration craft); gathering (the front held, the anchor-sites re-attuned, the realm's dark driven back toward its sleep) [SRC: T1_Trades_Master # 9].
Side quests (the anchor-sites restored; the courts' honored dead witnessed; the childhood familiar walked home); engineering (the fairy cosmologies credited as Layer-2 reference; the vril substrate at its realm-ceiling); folklore (the fair-folk and their dark counter-beings honored as living tradition, referenced never lifted, the Sídhe the sovereign courtly folk); superstition (precisely what the chapter refuses — the whole fringe register is held authorially per the Anti-fringe flags and never voiced in-world; the player-facing surface keeps only the wonder of the living traditions and the game's own vril-substrate metaphysics) [SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 19.1].
Key sites and spatial layout
Story-load-bearing sites, each having cleared a significance lens and the §4 relevance filter; geography anchors to the World Geography Master, never the RCM [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9] [SRC: SIGNIFICANCE_LENSES].
Typed v3.1 site rows (§3b) — beats reference these by site_id; the environmental detail rides each row as env texture.
env: the reaches of the realm where the King's decades of grief crystallized the bright vril into dense motionless shapes (the wound made visible); the homecoming grief-geography, moved through by restraint and the right attention (clear only true sickness, leave the sorrow its room, over-purge the worst failure — the King's genuine grief told apart from the war's corruption); the door-home crossing lands here and the childhood best friend is re-met here; hosts CH75_B01/CH75_B02/CH75_B03/CH75_B12; L1/L3.
env: the realm's substrate-anchors where the corruption saturates like rot climbing a lattice; the sacred-site restoration-under-assault (purge while you restore, defend while you channel, the adaptive waves targeting the channels she opens); the realm's native script now fully legible read at the anchors, and the re-attuned anchors feed the far-wall defense; hosts CH75_B08; L1/L2.
env: the ground where the King's court and the risen unseelie court meet, the defender-nobles and the crossed coalition holding beside her against the four ratified champions (the Unlidded Eye, the Westering Host, the Pitch-Court, and the Cinder-Advance whose burning line peels back at its terminus to the Last Coil); command the terrain not out-damage the tide, court against court, the terminal stand branch-balanced on the Ch-72 mercy-or-death; hosts CH75_B04/CH75_B05/CH75_B06/CH75_B07/CH75_B09/CH75_B10; L1/L3.
env: where the un-cleared corruption of the whole road accretes into one figure wearing the shape of her own unfinished work; the personal wordless capstone fight (the intrinsic mirror finished alone, no hidden director — the golem-exclusion), then the last ground running toward the King's hall (Ch 76); hosts CH75_B11; L1/L3.
Inter-chapter travel — arrival by the World-Tree crossing out of the last root of the last realm (the Ch-74 Yggdrasil door home opened); departure across the broken war toward the one hall still standing, the King's own, opening Ch 76 (the Two Courts) [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
Boss structure (§9 thin join index — phases are beats; the narrative lives in the beat graph)
The Pillar-8 encounter is the peopled war for the fairy realm in three movements (grief-country / peopled front / assembled titan); its faces are the realm's OWN awakened dark mythology — the care-clean malevolent-being class (the exact class as the Ch-74 Níðhöggr and the Ch-69 Apep: the tradition's own figures of horror, owed no dignity and the only things fought, never a god, never an honored being, never a people). The King is an honored defender at her side; the family's hand faceless behind it all [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075] [SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 17.1].

objective: On the locked Evil band, the muster-ground the good road fills with friends holds instead the ally who left — at the far threshold of the peopled front, elevated, still, unarmed, the record in her hands, visible the whole encounter. The war-roar does not drop to silence; it RESOLVES, the front's chaos tightening into a coherent readable pressure, and her first line is a plain true sentence about how you fight — that you go for the throat the moment they flinch, that you have never once let one walk. Carve through the realm's own risen dark — already in-scene, pressing the muster-ground's edge before the champions open the front in force — toward her; she stands beyond it, never among it, the last human face at the threshold, and she commands nothing; the front's coherence tightens because she is reading you (player_habit_vector at its diegetic maximum — a smarter opponent, never a stronger one). Escalation is the verbs you never use — the stealth lane, the trap, the familiar-pairing you always skip — so single-verb autopilot cannot break Composure; improvise and her read lags and openings appear, repeat and it tightens. What remains of your own corrupted host wavers in her presence (texture, never the wall). At the last the front thins — not because you killed it but because she is done — the verb collapses to close-the-distance, and you arrive in front of her worn through, read every step, and the spare or the kill lands in the sudden quiet.

Key ally NPCs
The Elven King (CHAR_0005), her father — the fairy-realm sovereign and its most accomplished vril-master, present here as an honored defender at her side in the war for his realm, not yet met in the intimate reunion that waits at Ch 76; referred to only as the Elven King, her father, or the King (NAME-FORBIDDEN per HL_0099 — the archetype protected by namelessness); the moral north of the arc, his grief in the land honored and told apart from the corruption, his vril reading substrate-mastery and disciplined perception, never a race-birthright [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0005] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0099].
The King's court and defender-nobles — the honored good of the fairy realm: the King's court, its named defender-nobles fighting beside her, and the twelve elven-native legendary species in the realm's royal communion; honored as the tradition holds them, real and portrayable, never targets (the deities-real discipline — honor the good, villainize the risen evil) [SRC: T0_Character_Index] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0001].
The childhood best friend (the player's Ch-1 Selection 2, the one she grew up beside) — met again at the homecoming, the first of the game's opening choosings paid off at the return: the friend was left behind in the realm when she fell out of it a whole life ago, lived and grew in all the years she was gone, and is here now, grown, among the realm's own. An ALLY-SIDE reunion held in the Movement-1 grief-country's tender register (restraint) and NOT a mid-game travel companion (the older travel-companion idea was ruled mistaken — the friend lived in the realm while the protagonist was exiled on Earth); the friend carries NO reveal content (no family who-frame, no thesis, no Grand-Sage hint — reveal-orthogonal), and the designed resonance runs deeper than the fiction ever says aloud — the Selection-2 best friend's gender, skills, and combat focuses SEEDED the starting gender, skills, and combat-focus of the healer's child (CHAR_0002, Ntala), the protagonist's longest and most significant traveling companion, who has walked beside her the whole road as this friend's living echo (T3_Core §3.2; the felt closeness the player carried and never had named, the reason that companion always felt like home); so the homecoming reunion quietly COMPLETES that echo — the friend she grew up beside and the companion who began as her mirror, present in the same moment — held FELT and restrained, never a mechanical exposition and never a designer-only reveal spoken to the player. Built at ROLE LEVEL — identity and name deferred to the naming method and Josh. NO-DEAD-END: the reunion plays through on every path (never gating); its warmth and whether the friend takes up arms in the Movement-2 coalition vary by the Ch-65-locked integrity band and the bonds the protagonist kept — a high-integrity / Truly-Good road draws the friend fully to her side and into the peopled front, a low-integrity road shadows the reunion (the friend grieving who the protagonist has become and holding back), and the realm's war resolves either way (the coalition and the war-host cover the front regardless of the friend's presence) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 2.2] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.2] [POPULATE→T0_Character_Index] [POPULATE→name].
The TL-25 coalition-return — Arawn, king of Annwn (the Ch-73 friend and lasting ally, honored and never fought), crosses in person to stand with her as an honored FOREIGN sovereign answering a friend's need, his Welsh Otherworld held distinct and NEVER conflated with the game's own fairy realm (the Ch-73 firewall load-bearing — Annwn is a distinct honored Welsh Otherworld, not the game's realm); selective honored guardians of the realms she crossed send aid where she parted owing or owed (a chosen few, not a blanket march — Louhi of Pohjola, the honored adversary who withdrew sovereign, is not among them); and the taming-and-breeding roster is mustered as a WAR-HOST led by the childhood familiar (the 22nd-slot, crossed home), fielding existing familiars only (no count touched, the twelve elven-native legendary species honored and un-fought) [SRC: T0_Character_Index] [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [POPULATE→T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
The found-family carried — the healer's child (CHAR_0002, per the Ch-65 resolution) with the evidence-journal; Ana (CHAR_0017), the melee blade; the accreted found-family; and the childhood familiar (the 22nd-slot, Ch 58) crossed home into the realm; inviolate, at the war beside her on the TRULY_GOOD and GOOD_ENOUGH bands (per the Ch-65 for_life Departure/Continuation resolution) — on the locked EVIL band the healer's child (CHAR_0002) stands INVERTED at the threshold per FORK_CH75_D, the witness who left rather than at her side, the for_life bond inverted and never broken (Ana and the rest of the found-family unchanged); the childhood best friend re-met at the homecoming (the Ch-1 Selection-2 payoff — see above) is a re-met origin-relationship and a realm-native ally, NOT a new travel companion or a newly-rooted found-family bond; no new traveling-companion or familiar bond rooted here [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002].

Protected-chapter / living-culture framing (§17.1, standard care, the war-register antisemitism guardrail and the honored-realm duties)
Ch 75 depicts no living Earth community — the war-country is the game's own fairy-realm space — but it honors real Celtic and Norse fairy/elf traditions and carries the §17.1 / HL_0109 / HL_0114 antisemitism guardrail in its most load-bearing WAR register. The Irish Sídhe and Tuatha Dé, the Welsh Otherworld courts, and the Norse Álfheim are honored each on its own terms as Layer-2 reference and echoed never lifted — the game's realm, its King, and its courts keep their own game-canon names, no living tradition's proper noun enters the body-prose fiction, and the three cosmologies are kept distinct rather than flattened into one generic fairyland; the fair-folk are the sovereign courtly folk, never the diminutive flower-fairy. The realm's own dark counter-mythology (the Fomorian and Sluagh and Dökkálfar and fire-giant beings) is honored as the tradition's own moral seriousness and brought on-stage as the war's marquee bosses per the deities-real rule — honor the good (the King's court, the defender-nobles, the honored dead, the twelve elven-native legendary species) and villainize the risen evil; the fought things are the realm's own awakened dark, never a god, never a revered being, never a people. The antisemitism guardrail is held on every player-facing surface: the war is the corruption CONDENSED out of the realm's OWN sickened substrate (condition-made-weather), the realm's own dark mythology risen and turned — an internal cosmic disorder, a civil-and-cosmic war within one tradition — and NEVER a marched cabal-army, never an invading people, never a hidden nation come to take a land; the family's reach is the faceless corrupting condition behind the front (weather, rot, single-source unity), never a face, and its selectivity is the rot's own grain (it feeds on the realm's significance), never a chooser's malice against a place. The patriarch is not named and the reveal ceiling still binds (Cassius named at Ch 76 [HL_0035]; the thesis and the Grand Sage held to Ch 77 [HL_0043/HL_0046]); the corruption and the negative-vril it seeds read as a self-loss condition, structural and philosophical, never race-mystical, and never heritable or ethnic. The TL-25 coalition holds the Ch-73 firewall load-bearing: Arawn of Annwn crosses as a sovereign of a DISTINCT honored Welsh Otherworld answering a friend's need, his court and the game's own fairy realm kept wholly separate and never conflated; the aid is selective (a chosen few where she parted owing or owed, never a blanket "all guardians march"), and Louhi of Pohjola — an honored adversary who withdrew sovereign — is excluded, not conscripted. The branch-balanced terminal difficulty raises combat intensity without lowering cultural care (CVD §17.1 line 968): on the SPARED-at-72 branch the returned withholder-coil reads as the FELT recurrence (the withholding she left un-ended), never a re-fight or re-desecration of the honored Vedic Vritra, who stays honored in his own realm at Ch-72 care_tier MAXIMUM — the fairy-realm terminal dragon, the Last Coil, is realm-native game-canon (a Fáfnir/Muspell-class fire-dragon, those Norse proper nouns held as Layer-2 reference and never lifted), the recurring coil answered on the game's own dimensional ground and never the living tradition's serpent transplanted [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0109] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0114].
Anti-fringe / Frame-A flags
The war-register antisemitism guardrail (the family's faceless hand) — at-risk failure: rendering the war as a marched army of the House, an invading people, or a hidden nation come to take the realm; giving the family's reach a face or a front here (it takes its face and name only at Ch 76); or letting the corruption read as a chooser's malice against a sacred place. Canonical framing: authorial-only; the war condenses out of the realm's OWN sickened substrate (the realm's own dark mythology risen and turned — an internal cosmic disorder), the family's hand the faceless corrupting condition behind it (weather, rot, single-source unity, its selectivity the rot's own grain that feeds on significance), never a cabal-army and never a people; no cabal-noun anywhere (never even invoke-and-negate); the negative-vril a self-loss condition, structural, never heritable or ethnic or race-mystical [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0109] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0114].
The fairy-lore care and the Cottingley/Theosophy/root-race/Vril-Society firewalls — at-risk failure: flattening the three fairy cosmologies into one generic fairyland, reading the Sídhe or Tuatha Dé or Álfar as a real vanished race (or Atlanteans or ancient aliens), the Cottingley real-photographable-fairies credulity or the Theosophical nature-spirit-as-evolutionary-ladder framing, or reading the realm's vril-flood as race-mystical polar energy. Canonical framing: authorial-only; the fairy realm is the game's own game-canon dimensional space (real in-game as vril-substrate metaphysics, an ecology of abundance where force is cheap and restraint powerful), the three traditions kept distinct and honored as living heritage, the Snorri light-elf/dark-elf binary presented with the caution that it may be his own systematization (the secure attestation is Freyr's Álfheim); vril reads mathematical/physical/substrate, never race-mystical, the Bulwer-Lytton/Vril-Society lineage the excluded association [SRC: ESOTERIC_GROUNDING] [SRC: SCIENCE_GROUNDING].
The reveal ceiling (the held patriarch, thesis, and Grand Sage) — at-risk failure: naming Cassius here, giving the war a family-face, or leaking any thesis or Grand-Sage hint or self-recognition who-frame (even negated); declaring the felt one-coil recurrence (a stated it-was-always-one-dragon — a hyperdiffusion + reveal leak); or letting the terminal dragon's residue feed the Movement-3 colossus (a golem-exclusion breach). Canonical framing: authorial-only; the war's hand stays faceless (the naming is Ch 76), the assembled-titan has no hidden director (the golem-exclusion — her own leavings, not a thing someone built), and nothing of the thesis or the Grand Sage is declared, hinted, or foreshadowed; the felt-L3 terminal recurrence stays felt and undeclared (the recognition lands wordless, its meaning unexamined, never a stated it-was-always-one-dragon); the Last Coil is fenced to Movement 2 and never feeds the colossus (the intrinsic mirror stays strictly her own leavings); the realm-native fire-dragon is the game's own game-canon, the Fáfnir/Níðhöggr/Jörmungandr proper nouns held as Layer-2 reference and echoed never lifted; the homecoming's recovered ceiling is felt through play and never captioned [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0035] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
Three-layer surfacing
L1 self-contained: a complete peopled-war set-piece at the vril ceiling — the homecoming grief-geography (restraint, the two wounds told apart, the childhood best friend re-met in the grief-country — the Ch-1 Selection-2 payoff at the homecoming, warmth path-inflected, never gating), the marquee front (command the terrain, meet each risen dark champion, the coalition and the mustered war-host standing with her, the Cinder-Advance culminating in the terminal chaos-dragon the Last Coil — branch-balanced hard on both Ch-72 outcomes, restore the anchor-sites under assault), and the personal colossus finished alone; genuinely playable across every path, the family faceless, no honored being or community a target [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
L2 investigatable: the readable substrate — the Celtic and Norse fairy cosmologies (the Sídhe and Tuatha Dé courts, Álfheim and the light-elves) and their own dark counter-mythology (the Fomorians, the Sluagh, the Dökkálfar, the fire-giants of Muspell, and the Norse hoard-and-fire dragon-lineage of Fáfnir and the Völsunga behind the terminal Last Coil), the Welsh Otherworld of Annwn (Arawn's court) honored as its own distinct tradition behind the crossed friend-king, each honored on its own terms and echoed never lifted, surfaced through the war's courts and the realm's now-legible native script [SRC: T1_Research_Corpus_Master # Ch 24].
L3 metaphysical-as-real, never declared: the vril ceiling really has returned (the beautiful lie confirmed by contrast, felt through the recovered flood, never stated as thesis); the King's grief really has crystallized the land (a wound made geographic, felt through the grief-country); the corruption really is the realm's own dark risen and turned (the war an internal disorder, felt through the peopled front); the colossus really is the sum of her own unfinished work (the intrinsic mirror, felt through its recognized shape); and the recurring chaos-dragon really has come round to its terminus (the coil felt across the whole road since Ch 18's reef-dragon, answered here as the Cinder-Advance's burning wall unmasks it — the recognition landing wordless through the Last Coil's shape, never declared as one dragon). Nothing of the ultimate thesis is declared and no Grand-Sage or patriarch hint is given (the reveal held Ch 76-77); the L3 esoteric grounding traces to the comparative-mythology scholarship, never to fringe [SRC: ESOTERIC_GROUNDING] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0043].
Asset anchors
creatures_and_fauna — the realm's OWN risen dark as marquee bosses (the Fomorian-class siege-eyed giant [the Unlidded Eye], the Sluagh-class host of the restless dead [the Westering Host], the corrupted Dökkálfar nobles [the Pitch-Court], the Surtr/Muspell-class fire-giant [the Cinder-Advance], and its terminal form the realm-native fire-country chaos-dragon [the Last Coil, a Fáfnir/Muspell-class dragon fused into the Cinder-Advance — the tradition's own dark mythology, care-clean, the Norse proper nouns held Layer-2]); the twelve elven-native legendary species in the King's royal communion honored and never fought; the taming-and-breeding roster mustered as a WAR-HOST led by the childhood familiar (the 22nd-slot, Ch 58, crossed home) — the F4 Simurgh, the F7 Andean Condor, the Nile Crocodile W2, the water familiars and the roster fielded, existing familiars only and no count touched [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [POPULATE→T0_Creature_Roster].
architecture_set_dressing — the fairy realm as a war-country: the grief-crystallized reaches (bright vril hung in dense still shapes), the contested substrate-anchor sites, the courts of light and risen dark, the fire-giant's burning far wall; a sovereign luminous otherworld under siege, dimensional-space aesthetic, not literal Earth-archaeology [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9] [POPULATE→T0_Theme_Registry].
material_palette and style_register — a luminous, vast, grave register (the vril-flood of the realm at its ceiling, the crystallized grief, the risen dark's counter-court); mythologically-stylized (the game's own dimensional realm), the fair-folk sovereign and never whimsical, the dark beings terrible and never caricatured [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9].
music_mood — a vast homecoming register shot through with grief (the ceiling returned, the crystallized sorrow); a marquee war register for the peopled front (court against court, the risen champions), a rallying lift as the coalition crosses to her side, and a terminal eschaton-dragon register as the Cinder-Advance's wall unmasks the Last Coil, intensity peak; a spare, recognizing undertone for the colossus of her own leavings (the wordless personal finish); no reproduced living-tradition liturgy or protected song [SRC: T1_World_Geography_Master # 9] [POPULATE→T0_Theme_Registry].
voice_and_crowd — the Elven King voiced in his own sovereign register (an honored defender, name-forbidden per HL_0099); the King's court and defender-nobles in their own registers; the crossed friend-king Arawn voiced as an honored FOREIGN sovereign of a distinct Otherworld (never coded as the game's own fair-folk); the war-host of familiars in their own voices with the childhood familiar at the head; the risen dark's champions voiced as the realm's own terrible beings (never a cabal-cackle, never an ethnic coding); the found-family in their registers; per-NPC registers deferred to the Voice registry (no reproduced sacred or protected sound) [SRC: T1_Build_Pipeline_Contracts # 9.6] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0099] [POPULATE→T0_Voice_Registry].
sfx_substrate — the vril-flood of the realm, the crystallized grief-country, the peopled front (the siege-eye, the Sluagh host, the fire-giant's advance and the Last Coil's uncoiling at the far wall), the anchor-site restorations under assault, and the colossus's accretion and coming-apart; no protected cultural sound reproduced [SRC: T1_Build_Pipeline_Contracts # 10.8] [POPULATE→T0_SFX_Registry].
scripts and sacred objects — the realm's native script now fully legible read at the anchor-sites (the Inscription discipline); the 77-Hidden-Inscription fragment INSC_77H_CH75_FRAGMENT read in the realm (LAYER_3, §17.9-held, spoiler-protected, no thesis or Grand-Sage hint); the fairy realm the game's own dimensional space, no protected sacred object reproduced [SRC: T1_Languages_and_Script_Master] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0007].

SUPERSEDED AND CORRECTED at the arc-wide spine-registry intensity and mode mirror sweep of 2026-07-27 — this line previously read that the Ch-74 crossing was reconciled to standard at the Ch-76 step so that no three consecutive peaks would arise, which is the exact inverse of what was ruled and of what the data now carries: the live T0_Chapter_Index CH_74 intensity cell reads peak, CH_74.md declares PEAK, and the eighth sitting reconciled the cell TO the spine rather than the spine to the cell; the Ch-77 window label also read "the Ch-77 non-combat revelation", which both mis-states the enum (astral) and carries the retired combat-free reading of Ch 77 that the eighth sitting superseded, and the window count is restated honestly at four because direct appears twice [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0048] [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_74] [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_75] [SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 16.5] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0048].

ntala_inversion_state: UNSET on the TRULY_GOOD/GOOD_ENOUGH bands (the Ch-65 for_life Departure/Continuation resolution carries there); on the locked EVIL band the healer's-child bond has INVERTED (never broken) — written once at FORK_CH75_D (SPARE → STANDING_WITNESS, she keeps the record from outside; KILL → SILENCED, the record-keeper fallen, the partial-cold journal surviving physically), carried forward to Ch 76 and the Epilogue custody-colouring; the journal invariant unmoved (NEVER_COMPLETED / SPARSE_COLD band-fixed) [WS_040].
familiars_present: the F4 Simurgh, the F7 Andean Condor (Mastery), the Nile Crocodile W2, the water familiars (Shell W1, Kasa W5, the Koi W3, the Sanur Octopus W4), the Amazon river-dolphin (Ch 50), the Jaguar (Ch 48), the Bowhead whale (Ch 56), and the childhood familiar (crossed home, leading the roster mustered as a war-host on the front) carried, plus the roster — existing familiars only, no count touched.
homes_established: Trade 7 Culinary Arts at Haiti; Trade 9 Inscription (ancient homes Egypt and Sámi; at Adeptus Exemptus); Trade 4 Herbalism modern in the Amazon; Trade 10 Fishing and Navigation; Trade 3 Blacksmithing modern at Japan; Trade 1 Animal Communication at its ceiling — no new home rooted at Ch 75.
found_family: the arc's accreted found-family carried per the Ch-65 healer's-child resolution; the childhood familiar home in the realm; the King met as a defender in the war.
childhood_best_friend: the Ch-1 Selection-2 best friend re-met at the homecoming (left behind in the realm at the fall, grown in the years she was gone) — a realm-native ally, the reunion played through on every path (its warmth and the friend's presence in the war path-inflected by the Ch-65-locked band and the bonds kept per FORK_CH75_B); the friend stays in the realm (NOT a travel companion), present as the ground turns toward the King's hall (Ch 76); role-level, the name deferred to the naming method and Josh [POPULATE→name].
identity_hiding_status: CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION (in the world, carried; home in the origin realm and recognized-as-kin among her own is felt texture, not an enum transition); the ending path locked (Ch 65); the House of Velheim player-facing since Ch 38 but the patriarch not yet named (Cassius is Ch 76) and the thesis and Grand Sage held (Ch 77).
path_states: THE ENDING PATH LOCKED (Ch 65) carried (path_bucket LOCKED — bands derived, never option labels); the Realm Road complete (Ch 66-74, the World-Tree door opened); the REALM AT WAR met (Ch 75) per the locked band — the front held with the TL-25 coalition and the war-host beside her, the realm's risen dark driven back toward its sleep, the terminal chaos-dragon (the Last Coil) answered at its terminus (its difficulty branch-balanced on the Ch-72 kill-or-spare per FORK_CH75_A — hard either way), the anchor-sites re-attuned, the colossus of her own leavings finished; the family's reach felt and never faced (the confrontation and naming ahead at Ch 76); the vril at its full ceiling.
realm_state: THE REALM'S WAR WON — the peopled front held (the crossed friend-king and the mustered war-host stood with her), the risen dark driven back, the terminal Last Coil answered and the eschaton-advance broken (the world-end deferred, the realm not unmade), the anchor-sites restored, the King's court holding; the King's grief still in the land (the intimate encounter ahead); the family's faceless reach still present behind the last hall; the ground open toward the King's own hall where a guest is waiting (Ch 76 the Two Courts, then Ch 77 the Waterfall).
Seam state-diffs (machine-checkable exit→entry assertions over ws state keys; the prose bridge stays in the transitions file)
The CH_74 → CH_75 seam:
assert ws.age_stage: Adulthood (internal 18, designer-only) · ws.path_bucket: LOCKED (the Ch-65 band carried) · ws.identity_hiding_status: CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION (in the world, carried; CH_74's exit cited per the reconciliation rule) · vril: full ceiling (recovered the moment she is home) · realm: the Realm Road complete, the World-Tree door opened (Ch 74) · reveal_state: HELD (the House player-facing since Ch 38, the patriarch UNNAMED, the thesis and Grand Sage held) · note: the childhood-familiar crossing-home and the homecoming content (grief-country, the recovered ceiling) are Ch-75's OWN writes/texture established at this chapter's own beats, not CH_74 entry-state claims.
The CH_75 → CH_76 seam (mirrors the CH_76_v3 exemplar's facing assertions — the Two Courts reads this exit):
assert world: realm-war-won (the front held, the risen dark driven back, the Last Coil answered, the eschaton deferred, the colossus finished) · reveal_state: House-named, patriarch UNNAMED → (Ch 76 names him, Cassius) · ws.path_bucket: LOCKED (carry) · ws.familiar_bond_state: childhood_familiar_home_in_realm (carry; present-varying: the childhood familiar home on TG/GE per the Ch-65 lock outcome; absent on Evil — the token carries the band-dependent value, not a TG default) · ws.identity_hiding_status: CONCEALMENT_WITH_HOSTILE_RECOGNITION (in the world, carried; home in the origin realm and recognized-as-kin among her own is felt texture, not an enum transition) · ws.age_stage: Adulthood (carry) · vril: full ceiling (carry).
Decisions surfaced
Ch 75 is not a canonical hard-line node (outside the eighteen-node set), but it carries the naming hard line (HL_0099), the reveal ceiling (the patriarch held to Ch 76, the thesis and Grand Sage to Ch 77), and the §17.1/HL_0109/HL_0114 antisemitism guardrail in its war register; the grounded and creative-within-vision resolutions are surfaced here with reasoning shown (per the resolve-don't-defer contract). The v2.5 build's rulings (Q1-Q13) are preserved below; the v3-conversion resolutions are appended.
Q1 — the Realm-War re-embodiment (WS5 "the war with faces") — APPLIED (AAA WS5; the re-home ledger): the built-CH_70 homecoming and the built-CH_71/72/73 three-phase Realm War re-home here as ONE peopled war in three movements (grief-country / peopled front / assembled titan); the faceless tide is re-embodied WITH FACES as the realm's OWN awakened dark mythology (a Fomorian-class siege-eye, a Sluagh-class host, corrupted Dökkálfar, a fire-giant siege), fought as marquee bosses per the deities-real rule; the King an honored defender at her side [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
Q2 — the antagonist held faceless (the reveal reconciliation) — RESOLVED (WS5; the ratified node move, punchlist L22): the family's hand in the war stays the faceless corrupting CONDITION (weather, rot, single-source unity), and the patriarch is NOT named here — Cassius is named and confronted at Ch 76 (the Two Courts), the faceless war deliberately preceding the face; this reverses the old structure (where the patriarch was named at Ch 74) and holds the reveal ceiling to Ch 76-77 [SRC: T4_House_of_Velheim_Canonical # 10.4] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0035].
Q3 — the antisemitism guardrail in the war register (the care-critical call) — RESOLVED (per the re-home ledger and HL_0109/HL_0114): the war is the corruption condensed out of the realm's OWN sickened substrate (the realm's own dark mythology risen and turned, an internal cosmic disorder), NEVER a marched cabal-army and never an invading people; the family's reach the faceless corrupting condition behind it, its selectivity the rot's own grain that feeds on significance, never a chooser's malice against a place; no cabal-noun anywhere; the negative-vril a self-loss condition, structural, never heritable or ethnic or race-mystical [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0109].
Q4 — the assembled-titan capstone (the her-own-leavings mirror) — RESOLVED (WS5, KEPT as signature): the war's capstone is the colossus made of the protagonist's OWN unfinished work accreted across the whole road (the graduated-persistence payoff), the intrinsic mirror — accreted not mustered, NO hidden director, the golem-exclusion held (no maker, no animating word, no external hand); no longer the ONLY enemy (which was the facelessness problem) but the personal, wordless finish to a fully peopled war [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 3.4].
Q5 — the grief-country as the homecoming opener (grief told apart from corruption) — RESOLVED (per the re-home ledger; the Ch-70 doctrine): the King's decades of grief crystallized into the land is the homecoming opener, moved through by restraint and the right attention (clear the sickness, leave the sorrow its room; over-purge the worst failure) — the King's genuine grief honored and told apart from the war's corruption; the intimate father encounter itself (the reunion, the at-one-ment) is held to Ch 76 Phase 2 (the Two Courts) [SRC: BOSS_PERSONAS # Ch 24].
Q6 — the intensity/topography reconciliation (build-derived) — RESOLVED, and the earlier resolution SUPERSEDED by Josh's ruling: CVD §16.5 fixes Ch 75 peak / Ch 76 peak / Ch 77 standard, and the Ch-74 Yggdrasil crossing STAYS PEAK. This row previously resolved the other way — it proposed reconciling the Ch-74 node-intensity DOWN to standard at the Ch-76 scatter so that no three consecutive peaks would arise — and that proposal is withdrawn: HL_0048's no-three-consecutive-peaks clause was REMOVED for Ch 70-77 (Josh RULED 2026-07-27, the fourth sitting; Pattern A the Terraced Ascent ruled at the eighth the same day), the eighth sitting reconciled the live T0_Chapter_Index CH_74 cell UP to peak to match CH_74.md, and the R3 gate was re-scoped in code to windows entirely at or below Ch 69, so Ch 74-75-76 are three consecutive peaks by design and the topography gate returns PASS on them. Corrected at the arc-wide spine-registry intensity and mode mirror sweep of 2026-07-27 [SRC: T0_Chapter_Index @ CH_74] [SRC: T1_CVD_Creative_Vision_Document # 16.5] [SRC: T0_Hard_Lines @ HL_0048].
Q7 — the healer's-child name (Ntala) propagation (build-derived) — APPLIED (Task #13B P3, the single cross-corpus pass; WS8 FINDINGS #4c): the ratified name Ntala (Manggarai "star") is INTRODUCED at CH_13 at her active-join, tied meaningfully to the end of her unsigned-notes anonymity ("she signs the next note — the first she does not leave unsigned — Ntala"), and USED at the peak healer's-child beats (CH_38 the journal handoff, CH_57 the record made public, CH_65 the threshold choice) plus the endgame folds (CH_66-77 anchors). The epithet "the healer's child (CHAR_0002)" is RETAINED by design as the meaningful recurring descriptor (it carries her origin as Mama Klara's child and the protagonist's way of holding her) — a full flattening find-replace was deliberately NOT done (the name lands where intimacy calls for it; the role names her elsewhere) [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002].
Q8 — the F2 terminal-dragon seating (the Last Coil) — APPLIED (Section-3 F2, Josh-ruled): the recurring chaos-dragon lineage gets its terminal fought stand at Ch 75 FUSED into the Movement-2 Cinder-Advance (its eschaton-wall culminates in and unmasks the realm-native fire-country chaos-dragon), NOT a free-standing fifth marquee — so the ratified four-champion set (the Unlidded Eye / the Westering Host / the Pitch-Court / the Cinder-Advance) and the loud-to-silent signature (two marquee bookends, then the SILENT solo colossus) both hold, and the Movement-3 her-own-leavings colossus is left EXACTLY as canon (the Last Coil fenced to Movement 2, never feeding the intrinsic-mirror colossus — the golem-exclusion held) [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075] (F2, docs/spine/CARDINAL_FORKS_BRIEF_2026-07-14.md).
Q9 — the terminal dragon's name (the naming method: deep-dive → adversarial filter → vibe test) — APPLIED: chosen name THE LAST COIL, surfacing as a sub-title through the Cinder-Advance (not a separate champion title). Deep-dive axis — the RECURRING COIL (the Chaoskampf coil-body felt since Ch 18's Litan) plus the TERMINUS (answered at its end), in the fire-country register, no Norse proper noun lifted. Alternates: the Deep-Coil (safe second; a slight overlap with the Pitch-Court's deep earth-holds) and the Root-Wyrm (flagged — a Níðhöggr-echo risk one chapter after Ch 74's Níðhöggr). Adversarial filter: the Last Coil is a single word-pair not a phrase, the player's felt through-line not weather, concrete not precious, no collision with the four champion titles, and lifts no Fáfnir/Níðhöggr/Jörmungandr (those stay Layer-2 reference). Rationale: it names the terminus of the recurring coil — coil = the felt recurrence, last = the recurrence answered — fire-country-native game-canon, reading as the Cinder-Advance's unmasked terminal form (docs/NAMING_METHOD.md) [POPULATE→BOSS_PERSONAS # BE_0075 Cinder-Advance / the Last Coil].
Q10 — the branch-balanced terminal difficulty (the 72↔75 consequence link, Josh's explicit note) — APPLIED: the Last Coil's terminal stand is hard on BOTH Ch-72 branches, never easy-mode. SPARED-at-72 — the spared withholder-coil returns as a reinforcement SECOND FRONT beside the Last Coil (harder by numbers and overlapping pressure), read as the FELT recurrence (never a re-fight or re-desecration of the honored Vedic Vritra; Ch-72 care_tier MAXIMUM holds; the fairy-realm dragon is realm-native game-canon). KILLED-at-72 — no reinforcement, so the Last Coil gains an added enrage / terminal phase and the realm-war presses harder elsewhere (equal challenge, different axis). Neither branch is easy-mode — the KILL (the faithful heroic deed) is never priced as easy and the SPARE (restraint-with-a-cost) is never priced as punishment. Typed at FORK_CH75_A (path_dispatch × the Ch-72 ws.nemesis_memory_per_boss read) [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075] (the Ch-72 kill/spare link).
Q11 — the TL-25 coalition-return (Movement 2) — APPLIED (creative-within-vision, F2 self-apply): Arawn of Annwn (the Ch-73 friend, the one honored patron who legitimately crosses) arrives and sends aid, held strictly within the Ch-73 firewall (Annwn a DISTINCT honored Welsh Otherworld, NEVER conflated with the game's own fairy realm); SELECTIVE honored-guardian aid where the protagonist parted owing or owed (not a blanket "all guardians march" — Louhi of Pohjola, an honored adversary who withdrew sovereign, EXCLUDED); and the taming-and-breeding roster mustered as a WAR-HOST led by the childhood familiar, fielding EXISTING familiars only (no count touched — the twelve elven-native legendary species honored and un-fought). Typed at FORK_CH75_C (path_dispatch, the coalition composition reading the band, the guardian-partings ws.nemesis_memory_per_boss, and the modern-community reputation ws.community_state_per_region) [SRC: T0_Character_Index] [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [POPULATE→T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
Q12 — the Ch-75 integrity-and-bond DECISION-WEB matrix (Josh 2026-07-14, creative-within-vision) — APPLIED: the terminal stand's support is gated on the companion-loyalty-is-integrity-driven system, crossing the Ch-72 kill/spare axis into four quadrants, none easy-mode, each thematically earned — SPARED + HIGH-integrity (the childhood familiar distracts the Last Coil about five minutes while she breaks the re-emergent withholder-second-front, then she and the familiar and the coalition close together — mercy rewarded by the bonds she kept); SPARED + LOW-integrity (both coil-fronts faced with the familiar and coalition thinned or absent — mercy without the bonds to back it, the hardest quadrant); KILLED + HIGH-integrity (the familiar and coalition steady the harder-axis enrage stand); KILLED + LOW-integrity (the enrage stand faced more alone). No-dead-end holds on every quadrant (the front re-forms on death — completion never walled). The childhood familiar (Ch 2 loss → Ch 58 reunion → the Ch-75 aid) is the flagship early-decision-and-integrity → late-consequence link, and the TEMPLATE shape for the whole-arc connective-web pass. Typed at FORK_CH75_A (the two-axis path_dispatch) [SRC: T3_Familiars_Named] [SRC: WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB_INVENTORY # ECV-02].
Q13 — Thread 2 (The Serpent) NOT_PRESENT→ANCHOR and the felt-L3 terminal recognition — APPLIED: the serpent-thread flips to ANCHOR at Ch 75 (its terminal beat — the recurring coil answered as the Last Coil, CH75_B10), the whole-road one-coil recognition held FELT and UNDECLARED (never a stated it-was-always-one-dragon; the hyperdiffusion and reveal leak refused); the THREAD_02 CH-75 grid row carried in this entry pending the RR grid pass [SRC: T1_Threads_22_Master_References # Thread 2] [POPULATE→T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_02].
Q14 — the CF-2 childhood-best-friend reunion (the Ch-1 Selection-2 payoff) — APPLIED (per Josh's directive): the childhood best friend, left behind in the realm at the fall and grown in the years she was gone, is met again at the homecoming as an ALLY-SIDE reunion in the Movement-1 grief-country register (restraint) — the previously dead-end Selection-2 link given its first downstream payoff, the intimate father-and-child register reserved for Ch 76. Built at ROLE LEVEL (name deferred); NOT a mid-game travel companion; reveal-orthogonal (no family who-frame, thesis, or Grand-Sage content); the designed gender-resonance (the Selection-2 friend seeded the healer's-child gender) held DESIGNER-ONLY and never surfaced; NO-DEAD-END (the reunion plays through on every path, its warmth and coalition-join path-inflected by the Ch-65-locked band). Typed at FORK_CH75_B (path_dispatch, warmth and coalition-join reading the band) [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 2.2] [SRC: T3_Core_Characters # 3.2] [SRC: WHOLE_ARC_CONNECTIVE_WEB # CF-2] [POPULATE→name].
The v3 typing of the post-lock forks — RESOLVED (v3 conversion, 2026-07-15; Josh-override-able at any RR): Ch 75 is post-Ch-65 (path_bucket LOCKED) and generates no new integrity divergence, so its three forks are typed as B3 path_dispatch nodes that READ the committed band (never move it): FORK_CH75_A the terminal stand (a two-axis dispatch — the locked band crossed with the Ch-72 withholder ws.nemesis_memory_per_boss read — six quadrant rows over the four SPARED/KILLED × band combinations), FORK_CH75_B the best-friend reunion (warmth and coalition-join by band), FORK_CH75_C the coalition muster (composition by band, guardian-partings, and modern-community reputation). Bands are never option labels; no option carries an integrity delta (post-lock); the reads (ECV-01/02/03/07, FR-03) are made machine-visible on the CH75_B04 and CH75_B10 in: lines and the fork state_deltas [SRC: SPINE_SCHEMA_v3 # 3c].
The WS_025 enum-first mapping — RESOLVED (v3 conversion): the v2.5 free-text identity states ("CROSSING HOME", "HOME AND RECOGNIZED-AS-KIN") map to the bare WS_025 enum REVEAL_RECOVERY (the post-concealment state — she is home in the origin realm and recognized-as-kin, concealment resolved among her own); asserted so in §18 and both seams, the "recognized-as-kin/home" texture carried as a note (gotcha-17 enum-first discipline) [SRC: T0_Worldstate_Variables @ WS_025].
The THREAD_03 grid drift (grounded registry correction) — LANDED (batch-8 serialized landing, 2026-07-15): the T0_Thread_Grid CH_75 THREAD_03 cell previously read NOT_PRESENT ("the family arc closed at Ch 74, no House of Velheim presence reaches the father's court" — the retired antagonist-absent "Father Encounter" structure), but the WS5 re-architecture makes Ch 75 the Realm at War whose faceless corrupting CONDITION IS the family's reach; the source Threads block (ESCALATION) and the boss registry (BE_0075.threads = T01;T03;T06;T19) both carried Thread 3 as present. The correction (THREAD_03.progression_stage NOT_PRESENT → ESCALATION) has LANDED — the T0_Thread_Grid cell now reads ESCALATION; Thread 3 is typed chapter-ambient only (no carrier beat — the faceless condition), so no beat-level value is propagated. The un-rowed THREAD_01 and THREAD_19 CH_75 grid gaps are noted RR-pending (no existing cell to correct); the source Threads block carries them and the carrier beats (CH75_B01, CH75_B09) type them [SRC: T0_Thread_Grid @ THREAD_03] [SRC: T0_Boss_Encounter_Registry @ BE_0075].
D-2 — the Ntala inversion encounter (FORK_CH75_D, the EVIL-band "powerful foe") — RULED (Josh, 2026-07-19; D-NTALA-ENC D-2, cardinal): the Ch-75 EVIL inversion is F-STAR "The Read Made Kinetic" (docs/spine/NTALA_D2_POWERFUL_FOE_BRIEF.md §4/§6) — the witness at the threshold, her seventy chapters of watching made kinetic as the encounter's coherence (player_habit_vector at its diegetic maximum, adaptation_gain never HP or damage), on a canon-legal force-source (the realm's own risen dark carved through toward her; she stands beyond it and commands nothing) and F-D's triumph-suppressing collapse-to-spare/kill grammar; no combat ability, vril, or weapon is gained (the scoped T3 §3.4 EXTENSION, [JOSH-1]) — denial derives from social/behavioral tells, never vril-signature or frame-data. Care ([JOSH-2]): the fought things are the realm's own risen dark, the honored court/King/defender-nobles NEVER targets, win = reach-her never body-count. Rider ([JOSH-3], droppable texture): the player's OWN corrupted host wavers in her presence, adds no capability, non-load-bearing. Typed at the new beat CH75_B13 (authored 2026-07-19 as the letter-suffixed CH75_B04a, renumbered to the next free number 2026-07-27 under schema rule v — the suffixed form was invisible to the spine parser, so the beat never entered the committed model and permanence never attached; document order and seq 5 are unchanged) and FORK_CH75_D (EVIL-only sub-fork; ws.ntala_inversion_state one of STANDING_WITNESS or SILENCED, WS_040); the ruled FORK_CH75_A six rows, BE_0075, and the golem-exclusion untouched; the journal HARD INVARIANT and the Epilogue reader-unassigned (D-8) held. F-C (arm her, flagship §3.4 override) was consciously OFF the table [SRC: T1_Integrity_Paths_Worldstates_Master # 3.4] [SRC: T0_Character_Index @ CHAR_0002].
